Thorough, clear directions that are easy to follow! I appreciate the quiet background too. I want to make an Easter shawl for my granddaughters sleeveless dress. Many thanks for your wonderful video!!!
I totally love this cape. I recently made one for my neighbor who is quite small &.it turned out perfect. So since I've been asked by one of our hospitals in the city I live in to make bereavement preemie blankets etc for babies as their gestation is 12 wks & up I've been very busy...…………..I decided to make these shawls in mini size to fit these little angel babies & they are turning out absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much from this Canadian gal...………………..
@@nz6529 Sorry I never noticed you asked me a question.....For a baby's neck of 11" I started off with a ch of 46. I've even made these for adults by just adjusting the neck size & they turn out lovely
You do beautiful work! Thanks for no musical background, just lovely clear instructions! This is a beautiful garment pattern. It would be lovely in a 'stripes-of-many colors,' design. I think changing colors every 2 or 3 rows would be better than plain or variegated. Maybe a long-striping yarn but I would just change colors. Of course it would take me much more time than it takes you because I'm a slow crocheter but it would be worth it .
This is a very sweet little girl's cape. The directions were exceptionally clear and very easy to follow. What a lovely voice you have! I look forward to listening to more of your videos.
Thank you for this pattern . It is the easiest caplet and I have been looking for this for a long time. Because I work with beads in my designs, I found this pattern so easy and compatible. I wish I could should you my latest one pearls.. thank you so much for this easy and lovely pattern.
I've already made one of these and just started my second. Your easy to learn from and I'm hoping to make myself a vest following your tutorial. Great Job!
My daughter is 2.5 and I started with ch 56. Followed her pattern and then I repeat round 6 for 21 more times for total 27 rows from top to bottom. It comes to just below her low back. I'm planning on adding a hood though Very easy to follow and beautiful pattern thank you so much
would you please write down the description after 7 rows? I need a written pattern. I only understand it should be repeated as row 5 and row 6 till it is long enough. After the instructor said "until it is long enough", However, I cannot understand how to do the rest of rows to finish up. I will appreciate your help to resolve puzzle. thanks.
I'm 62 y.o , been crocheting since I was 13 y.o. self taught mostly. I have a shoulder area that is cold at night. I have perfect yarn for this, I'll tweek it a bit. Use my stitch and make a i-cord for the cord but no pom poms. Ty for your video.

+Deborah Harvey Would love to know how you attached a hood, I'm in the progress of making the poncho (beginner) I'd hoped it would be ok for a 0.3 month but looks much bigger. I've no idea what size it's going to fit lol
Hi Gail, once you have finished the cape go back to the neckline attach the yarn and double crochet across but every third stitch do 2 double crochet in the same stitch keep doing this right across for about 35-40 rows depending on how big a hood you want then fold or in half and single crochet the I used eyelash yarn to add a fur border its stunning. Or you could make a bonnet and single crochet that to the neckline. Love crochet as it is so easy to mix it up and it makes up very quickly xx

I finished mine & it turned out beautiful. The striping yarn I used is white, gray & black. I love it. I’d love to knit one make the knit pattern using a #3 light yarn. I have some beautiful yarn that would be perfect for it.
Love your videos …. Approximately how many starting chains for an adult shrug….love the fact that there will not be a big triangle point in the back directing the eye to my large derrière….thank you
Thanks. Your videos are the best I've seen. Love the detailed instructions (without errors/corrections ). Makes it so easy to follow along. Trying to count rows from looking at the still shot at the end. It appears there are perhaps 14 or 15 rows so this must be a baby size. Am I correct?
another Fantastic video I think I have made nearly all your things now and I am getting better your shies are the only ones I can follow iv recommend you to alot of people could you do another style cardigan please x
I love this shrug. I'm on row 6, using a 4ply worsted yarn . mine is getting a little ripple to it is that normal. will it flatten out as it get longer?
Hi +Carolyn Kooser thank you! Yes, more rows will mostly flatten out the ripple. If you are still not happy with it try using a larger crochet hook and thicker yarn - this way you will not have to chain as much and you will not get a ripple. Thanks for watching x

Thank you for the tutorial! Instructions were clear but wish you'd show how you finished the edges. Did you do one row of single crochets at the end? And it'll be easier to see your work if you slow down a bit when you do the stitches and place the camera showing the front of your work instead of showing the side will be great.
Hi! Hi! In the process of making this shug, how long should I make it??? Please..... p.s your instructions are sooooooo easy to follow thank youuuuu 👍👍👍
Please reply as to how much yarn is needed to make a child's size poncho? Also, will any 100% wool yarn work? what yarn do you recommend comparable? Drops big merino is not in my local craft stores.
Hi +teresa castle , yes any yarn will work as long as you use the correct size hook for the yarn that you choose. I used 3 50g balls for my poncho which is size 3 - 4 years. For 4 years + I would probably suggest using 4 balls. Thank you for watching x

What size crochet hook did u use? I used a size H and it turned out awful. It kept rippling too much and cant lay down. I made half of the cape and had to stop. I used a yarn called I love this yarn.. It says its a medium 4
