I really like this pattern, it's the one I started using to make shawls for our local nursing home, because I like the way it fits. Thank you for all your tutorials they are really great.
I doooooo LoVE this COLOR and the other in the Landscape line......I have been ordering 12pks from Michael's and am enjoying each shade. Thank you for using this as the yarn of your choice. I saw it just today on FB fan page made by one of your peeps and will love to work/PLAY it up this week for a most endearing lady that I wished had been my mother...she is 85 now and as vibrant as this yarn !!!
MRS BOD! 6 years later --- but i just finished this! made it colorblocking some Mandala sequin rainbow colors. Lovely pattern! i'm sure the person that picks it will enjoy the cape.

Hi Crystal .. All your works are beautiful, you are done. You are the best teacher I have all poluchaetsya. Thank you very much. I love everything you do. Where do you take time for everything you have as a child? Good luck! We're waiting for your new works!
I’m making mine right now . I’m hoping it comes out as pretty! lol I’ve got to tell you your house sounds just like mine except I didn’t hear the “don’t tell mom” I usually hear rofl!!!!
I've learned so many little tips from you! Thank you! I am in search of a shoulder cover pattern for a male cancer patient. Any Ideas? I made a shoulder cape for MIL and it works amazing and keeps her warm these cold days.
I love your work and this cape wrap to can you show me how to make a spiral crocheted hat for adults and teens and kids from 5 to 7 years of age . Thank you so much
I would love this for a smaller version to use as a summer scarf...long but not wide due to weather in South. Can you break down the sizing? I am a beginner so I don’t know how to ffigure a pattern.
Love your tutorials. I'm a beginner crocheter. I have looked at both this tutorial and your other similar cape tutorial #256. I have purchased both patterns from your Etsy shop. It seems to this beginner, that the difference (other than the collar on tutorial #256) is that in one you do only 1 chain stitch between the 2 DCs of the V stitch and in the other you do 2 chain stitches between the 2 DCs of the V stitch. Is that correct? Can you explain to this beginner why you changed that? i.e. what is the effect of doing it one way or the other. Thanks in advance !!! I love both of the capes..... just trying to figure out in my beginner mind which one to try............
Silly me, I wanted a bigger shawl so I used a thicker yarn, used an 8 mm hook, and added an additional 20 chains. I'm on row 10 and tried it over my shoulders. Well I think I created a 'Hunny Shawl' because I can wrap both my hunny and myself in this shawl. It's way too wide. The overlap is double extra. It could probably make a good nursing shawl. Any ideas before I rip it out? 😮
I started another cape shawl using a Loops & Threads acrylic 4 weight yarn and a 5.5 mm hook. It looks great. I have added a couple of extra rows and will finish it with the dc & picot stitches. I would like to add a fold over collar (maybe 5 or 6 rows) with double V stitches and finish it with dc & picot stitches but I need some direction on how to do that. Can someone help? I just need to know how to add it to the neckline. Thanks! ❤
Thank you for the picot stitch trick.. much neater than what I learned from a different pattern..

Could you still do this pattern with a 3 ply yarn? The yarn that I wanted to use for this because it’s gorgeous is 3 ply 😢
Hi Crystal, question, do you use the yarn from the middle of the skein or the outer string of the ball? Thanks!
How many skeins did you use?
Hi Grace!! I use from the middle of the skein and I used 5 skeins or around 750 yds
BAG-O-DAY CROCHET & MORE ok, thank you!
How do you know which end to pull out?
I just grab from the middle and hope its right.. it doesn't always work out and then I have to use it from the outside.
I wear a size 22/24, what would I do to size up? Thank you! BTW, I've made 4 of your baby sweaters!
