Horacio's history is not-to-believe. He migrated from Argentina to Italy with nothing else than his talent. Started at Lamborghini as a line worker. Ten years later, he founded Pagani with very few resources and still managed to make one the most praised supercars in the world, competing against 100-year-old legendary manufacturers. Inspirational and I know from my Argentine friends, a huge pride to their car industry. He's a gem.

This car is 22 years old and it looks like it was released yesterday. Truly one of the most timeless and beautifully designed cars of the modern era, if not all time.
When the car came out, it just looked like it was designed for 15 years later. It was radical at the time and has aged wonderfully since. I feel like all Pagani's are like this, Koenigsegg's as well.

Interesting he never mentions the McLaren F1, arguably the first hypercar, which he reviewed and which he gave a higher Doug Score (I think the F1's styling is timeless). Also if you check the Doug Scores on the McLaren F1 video, he has since dropped the Huayra down on acceleration too!

They're nice, but I usually just stick with old 90s supercars like the Diablo and F50.
Whoever owns that car is cool as shit. Not because he / she is obviously rich -- no, that's something I see a lot in this area of the country. The reason that are ultra-cool is because they allowed Doug to review and drive it. That's just amazing and that was probably something Doug nearly fainted from once he found out he could test drive this beast.

Great video Doug, Pagani was born in a very small town in the center of my country Argentina, I've been there a couple of times and there was an opportunity when Horacio brought one of the Zonda and drove by Casilda's streets.
To think pagani didn’t really have the money and borrowed things to make this car and it still being magnificent today is mind blowing

This is probably one of my all time favorite cars. The design is timeless and the powertrain is perfect, and the interior is amazing. Also, a V12 with a 6 speed, thats awesome! If I could find one, and if I had the money, I would buy it without any hesitation.

Those Le Mans "road prototypes" are hyper rare. Some of them have only a single unit built just to meet the regulation at that time. I would love to see the Toyota GT One, or the Nissan R390 though....

Zonda was the car that litteraly bringed me back into the interest for fast cars. It's radical racing design and sound bring me back the feelings I left behind, when I was 14 and played Need For Speed 4 and was fall in love with cars and bikes.
I always thought the pagani zones was a kinda weird looking super car but now I realise that it's not like any other super car ever made. Not even the Lamborghini, I'm glad pagani has done really well and are still making new cars. I like the yellow more than the plain silver

@@jestestuman Nah, in the end, CF is only as strong as the resin holding it together, and resin can easily get scraped off, like for instance, if it's dragging along asphalt with 2k lb of weight on it.
They could be steel wrapped in carbon.

Amg engine is more reliable than other hyper/supercar engines and AMG engine is not as reliable as other daily sports cars.
Because actually Mercedes doesnt use this particular engine , and since its a pretty big one , it shouldnt be doing any stress even with that power
And Mercedes engines arent exactly unreliable , they have alot of really good engines , the rest of the car that is the problem xD

It's interesting how they put all that effort into making the rear of the car look beautiful, with the exhaust, the badging, the vents, the cool wing design...but then stuck bus taillights on it
