Them bleeding swans are a pain Russ but nobody wants to see it struggle like it was ... ironically i was only able to catch it because it was a greedy bugger LOL
To be honest matt,I watch you because I want to.....not because you show the latest rigs etc etc or fish the best waters, you are what you are you do what you do,keep on doing it👍
Maff, I enjoy your stories, you are a genuine bloke and this is why I watch. I hope you find peace and I am so sorry for your loss. May the next fish you catch be in honour of a good brother and in rememberance to those good times. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hi Matt, firstly my deepest condolences to you and you family. I also want to say that I love your videos, you show what your fishing/camping/ hiking/ shooting etc is all about, it`s you enjoying yourself, like we should all be doing, not trying to score points over each other by saying, I`ve caught more/ bigger than you. @@MaffTUK On another note i believe the reason a lot of people fold the corners of pva bags is to make them more aero dynamic. This is however only really relevant if casting over 100 yards. It first remember seeing an angler called Ian Poole making a bag back in 2002 and by compressing the bag and folding the corners the finished bag ended up as tight as a drum and cast like a bullet. After that i began to notice more and more folk began to fold the corners.

Sadly Matthew we seem to get bad press regarding wild life but I believe we see more wildlife than most, how many anglers upload the setting sun or early morning mist and who doesn’t want the kingfisher on the tip of the rod. As you know Matt most of us totally love the outdoors. but I'm real glad i got that rig off its head, it wasn't going to come out on its own, would love to come down and crack the neck of a Jameson's, i may take you up on that. 👍👍

I'm a New subscriber I'm sorry to hear about your loss I love your philosophy on fishing and life And apparently you fold over the corners for streamline (PVA bag's) Top man for the swan work Keep it all going Top man
Sorry to hear of your loss. The reason you fold the corners over on the pva is to help with the aerodynamic while casting, keep up the videos they are great.
Brother maff maximum total respect to you for catching an releasing that swan from a most certain death mate, not alot of us left that would go through the trouble of doing that mate RESPECT 👍

Sorry for your loss Maff, keep on with the fishing stories we all get bored with the same old rig clinic vlogs on you tube. The reason for folding down the corners on PVA bags is supposedly it makes them more aerodynamic!! makes no difference to me they still end up in a tree!!!

But i do have some things planed coming up of which there will be a very short video uploaded tonight explaining such an event. thank you for your comment Russ much appreciated, regards Matt
What you do is get a really big, really heavy sinker. Tie it on your line. Cast it and conk the swan in the head, knock it out, then the fish can get some of the bait. LoL. Kidding of course.
June.... no i think your right.... i was thinking a 1lb lead weight to ask the swans if they would like to F~#k @ff LOL and of course we have to end with the obligatory "just kidding" so the woke snowflake trolls dont wet their pants with a potential new target.......LOL

Thanks Mark, poor bugger needed that off its head for sure, that weight wasn't coming off, still, all's well, and thank you , regards Matt
Sorry to hear of your loss. The reason you fold the corners over on the pva is to help with the aerodynamic while casting, keep up the videos they are great.
Makes sense that Stuart i didn't think of the aerodynamic side of it yes on a long just it would certainly help for sure.👍👍
Rip .n1 maff
Looking forward to this maff tea ☕ on let's go

@@MaffTUK ❤
Brother maff maximum total respect to you for catching an releasing that swan from a most certain death mate, not alot of us left that would go through the trouble of doing that mate RESPECT 👍
Class again Maff. Was on Kellet last night in 70 mph winds. Was watching your vids up until it got crazy. Sorry to hear about your bro. Keep up the solid content. Please could you give Big Brad Carsley a shout out on your next vid. He’s been struggling to pull a carp out of Kellet the last 4 sessions we’ve done and is a bit downhearted with it. All the best 👍🏻
So sorry for your loss buddy hope you and the family are all ok ❤
Hi Steven, yes we are good thanks mate, and thank you, regards Matt
We fold the corners to make them more aerodynamic and help less wobble in flight. Also helps making it more solid.
Thanks Dave yep I'm getting that now makes sense when you think about it
My condolences Maff. I will be camping at the Cragg Hill Farm, Settle at Sunday 23 of April. If possible it would be great to meet up. Greetings Dimitri
Dimitri i will be there, i will find it and book myself on, when i have confirmed booking i will let you know regards Matt
@@MaffTUK Awesome mate! Did you receive my E-mail too? Then we can share phone numbers, so we can text each other at the time. I'm looking forward to it. Cheers, Dimitri
@@MaffTUK Sorry Maff, just got a mail from the Cragg Hill camp site. They are closed until the end of May. But no worries. I will find another camp site. And let you know. Cheers.
@@MaffTUK it will be the Punch Bow hotel/camp site
Bentham, North Yorkshire
Hi Maff, can you still make it to the Punch Bow campsite in Bentham on Sunday? I will be arriving there in the afternoon. Cheers Dimitri
Sorry for your loss Maff, keep on with the fishing stories we all get bored with the same old rig clinic vlogs on you tube. The reason for folding down the corners on PVA bags is supposedly it makes them more aerodynamic!! makes no difference to me they still end up in a tree!!!
Genuine LOL 🤣🤣 Yeh mine to Rooster, thank you, great comment 👍👍
Nice1 maf

Hi Russ, I'm fine thank you I'm afraid work has a nasty habit of taking over my life every now and then which i try to avoid as best possible. But i do have some things planed coming up of which there will be a very short video uploaded tonight explaining such an event. thank you for your comment Russ much appreciated, regards Matt
Sorry for your loss
John, thank you, regards Matt
Solid bag
Corners are stuck down
To make the bag more aerodynamic on cast 👍
Sorry for your loss Maff x
Thank you Jayne,
When are new videos coming maff?
When are you next on the bank? Looking forward to watching it!
nice one mate
thank you Martin
What you do is get a really big, really heavy sinker. Tie it on your line. Cast it and conk the swan in the head, knock it out, then the fish can get some of the bait. LoL. Kidding of course.
June.... no i think your right.... i was thinking a 1lb lead weight to ask the swans if they would like to F~#k @ff LOL and of course we have to end with the obligatory "just kidding" so the woke snowflake trolls dont wet their pants with a potential new target.......LOL
Sorry for your loss, Matt
Thanks Chris
Well done, Matt on the fish and I enjoy the stories your adventures
