Me too mate the relief of finally getting one from that water was amazing but was crapping my pants i was going to lose it. what you didnt see was one of the lads had taken the net handle out of the block so when i picked up the net i just had the handle in my hand so i had to walk in the water and stick my hand in tha cats mouth to get the bugger out gits! LOL

Its mad isnt it, six prior sessions on that lake, ok missed a couple over time but then to get four out in a 24 hour period and then back to dead again its a strange lake for sure but im real glad i had my day and what a relief too👍
Loved the video only found out about clearwater last week and fished on Kents Bank for 24 hours myself catching a 18lb and 15lb and my mate catching 26lb photo on the Facebook page really want to fish the Kellet lake keep up the vids love them and hope one day to catch yeh down at clearwater 😉

Top Video Maff, I noticed your still using the ATT's, I'm looking for a change from Delkim, so ive been looking at the ATT's as fed up with water issues with the Delk's, do you still rate the ATT's as much as you did back 2016 ?
Yes Andy I think they are brilliant alarms and even work under water, so bad weather is not a problem to these I bought the longer snag ears and put mini isotopes in them went all green with green under lit alarms and changed all the LED's on the deluxe receiver for green too all in all still working very well I broke one alarm and ended up replacing it. I didn't go for the super sensitive drums/ wheels, ie my line has to move 10mm before a bleep (2 magnets) Dave has the 4 magnets and the wind will certainly give Dave more action than mine I don't think I would buy anything else as these are simple to use, work really well and not mad money. personally I think they are worth every penny. I hope that helps... oh! some people report that the covers become hard to remove, after time. Well i still use my original ones and although they are a bit tight it does not cause me any real problems at all Dave has bought and replaced his covers with neoprene ones ......i dont need to ..... regards Matt

Chris and i dont really have a format we just play it by ear and see what happens. I like to mess with the editing now and then and chris catches the fish lol 🤣just be yourself in the videos and dont be scared at showing you messed up, we all do it even the pros screw up, and it makes you human. good luck with your vids
@@danielward7732 Ah the rods are Shimano Tribal extreme 2.75 TC with shimano 14000XTDs must admit the line gaurds on the reels are not that good, broken and had to replace two of them but apart from that they work well when you get fish on 👍

I remember my first solo session i was terrified..... I kept thinking "what if i catch a chunk...what do I do LOL" we all take inspiration from others and Chris is a genuine nice chap with a great sense of humour

Top Video Maff, I noticed your still using the ATT's, I'm looking for a change from Delkim, so ive been looking at the ATT's as fed up with water issues with the Delk's, do you still rate the ATT's as much as you did back 2016 ?
Yes Andy I think they are brilliant alarms and even work under water, so bad weather is not a problem to these I bought the longer snag ears and put mini isotopes in them went all green with green under lit alarms and changed all the LED's on the deluxe receiver for green too all in all still working very well I broke one alarm and ended up replacing it. I didn't go for the super sensitive drums/ wheels, ie my line has to move 10mm before a bleep (2 magnets) Dave has the 4 magnets and the wind will certainly give Dave more action than mine I don't think I would buy anything else as these are simple to use, work really well and not mad money. personally I think they are worth every penny. I hope that helps... oh! some people report that the covers become hard to remove, after time. Well i still use my original ones and although they are a bit tight it does not cause me any real problems at all Dave has bought and replaced his covers with neoprene ones ......i dont need to ..... regards Matt

@@danielward7732 Ah the rods are Shimano Tribal extreme 2.75 TC with shimano 14000XTDs must admit the line gaurds on the reels are not that good, broken and had to replace two of them but apart from that they work well when you get fish on 👍
