  • Lee Coumeax didn't go out to develop a swing system. He just tried to share what he did in the golf swing. After talking to Lee on numerous occasions, I have come to the conclusion that there are 4 principles that must happen to swing in this fashion. First, let's say that even with these principles, you will not swing like Lee. There is only one Lee Coumeaux. Second Lee does not teach what is called CMotion at all.

The first video I ever watched of Lee Comeux was awesome. The power and sound of the strikes were incredible. I like your 4 keys. I have been working on limiting my head motion recently and it's helping me make more consistent contact

In a recent video of Lee he says the most important part of any swing is the release. The action he makes and comments I’ve seen from him on other videos, he means specifically the slap hinge release. He’s all trail hand. If anyone can get that right they’ll be a good golfer. I can see you do that too just you didn’t mention it in this video

Great observation. I definitely hit hard with the trail hand with a full throttle release. It's actually a throwing motion for me going from flexion to extension.

Hey buddy long time , thank you for the kind words. I am totally in agreement with you. I tell my clients I want their club face looking at the ball as long as possible. At first they say Coach that is closed then they hit a great shot and say wow I never knew.
What they don’t realize is when that face is what some Sy is closed it’s actually square to the target line due to spine angle. It’s one of the things that is really not discussed. Players that roll that toe open have to hit a lot of balls to stay consistent in my humble opinion. What ever you fan open has to fanned back closed.
Again great hearing from you again let’s connect on a phone call this week. I still have the same number.

@@Wooduck I would like to get the underhand toss action correct because it should be very easy to do, I’ve been struggling with the motion because of the need to hit down at the ball because that’s what everyone says to do. How can you hit down without fatting it with an underhand toss. But today I’ve learned of count yogi, apparently one of the best ever but he was banned by the PGA, he says he hits up at the ball with every single club not just driver. He even says never hit down. Now this in my mind I can see as an underhand toss motion. But I can imagine this hitting up might cause topped shots. This is the first time I’ve heard of the feeling hitting up at the ball, every other instruction I’ve seen is hit down. Seems very hard to find videos of count yogi because someone has copyrighted his material for themselves. Even his book to buy five simple steps is non existent or at a cost of a few hundred pounds

Pity. Lee's swing looks impressive but he could never make a video that made any sense to anyone. There are many other interpretations all of which were never the same. Always interested in it. A guy, Micheal Broderick hits the ball the best using the method.
