Clubmakers Vise Shaft Extractor
SKU: UCMVGSR
Accommodates all shaft sizes. Secure the shaft between the Shaft Extractor pads with the hosel positioned in the appropriate holder. Attach the ratchet to the other side and glide the head off the shaft tip! A constant 4-in of clamp pressure prevents slipage. Expedition Money LLC

3min onwards when your cracking it over in the vice you aren't pushing the sleeve off you can see your two halves of the shaft clamp seperating in the vice and one moving out.
been using this tool for past 3 years, easy and value for money. only problem that you have to be careful with is that the nut at the end does get stuck, and if you don't notice, the shaft will twist during the ratchet-wind-down. so always check the "3-prong holder" is always free and loose
This happened to me and I can't get the nut at the end loose! Any advice?
If you use that 18 hour hardening glue that sucker isnt coming off with a 30 second whiff of blow torch, ive destroyed many shafts trying to get those taylormade sleeve adapters off, why didn't you show us your heating method if its so quick, you got plenty of time to show us your heating method, golfworks must be paying you for this, because its not this easy.
I wish golfworks paid me for this. I paid full retail price for this little baby. I just used it today and it works well. I think the hydraulic jack ones are better but are much more expensive. I use a small butane cooking torch to heat the hosel. I’ve never not gotten one off but some glue is definitely harder than others. I think the key is to heat it and start cranking right away before it cools off even a little bit.
I have one of these. Just got it. For the money it works great. Key is taking your time heating up the adapter. And know the depth before you start. Callaway adapters are almost a 1/2 inch longer than others ect. So know before you start. Factory adapters come off easy. If some other builder put a head/adapter on then it’s a crap shoot. Some folks use WAY more epoxy than is needed. Watch some builder videos online for more tips. Which I am sure Peter did before he tried this. 😁
Great tool and video Peter. I'm interested in learning to change my own shafts and adapters, but I've already run into one issue. How do you get the screw out of the club head? It loosens enough to remove the shaft and adapter, but the loose screw stays in the shaft and I can't get it out.
The screw should keep coming out to remove the head entirely. I would keep turning it and pulling on the driver head, and it should pop out.
Can you use this on iron shafts?
I have and it works great! I've used it on putters too!
