the problem is before gotterdammerung not rushing was okay because of the industrial focuses that austria did. But now they have massive industrial debuffs initially so you can basically scale more with rushing anschluss
That used to work as you got like, 3-5 extra factories, but nowadays you only get 1-2 if you're lucky There are just so many more guaranteed focuses for the AI to do on historical
41:15 Same goes for reverse. Why should Germany consider herself fighting a war, when the other participant is literally on the other side of the planet. Or why should I have to care that India or Canada are not done yet. Or capitulate Chile because the Japanese said so. Distance AND power ratio + projection should be mechanic to allow for an easy white peace.
The reason I think Paradox hasn't done that is that it would involve changing so much of the game You'd make sure everything goes well in historical, every nation, focus, and no bugs or exploits can break the game
Honestly the Chile question bugs me so much since the whole problem is just that they get granted the ''Great power'' when it should only be granted to the historical big nations and maybe the player if his country gets powerful enough. Also another thing, the fact that once you start the war is literally impossible to finish unless you capitulate the world is really bugging me because that's not how it should be, Paradox should give you an option to give a peace deal like they do in other games, if their war support is low enough they should accept it and end the war, not going until the bitter end
you actually get one free super heavy railway gun when you complete the project. it's quite funny in Kaiserreich, actually, because when you release puppets in that mod they inherit your technology including special projects. so you can vassal swarm with super heavy railway guns as every time you release someone through the decision they get the tech
baldwin is viewed as the architect of appeasement. He opposed rearmament and generally symbolises all the negatives of pre war UK government. Of course the real situation is much more complex. But thats history in general for you.
The railway gun can affect infinite battles at a time (or at least so many it doesn't matter) but it cannot work while moving, to settle the confusion near the end of the video
flame tanks are op since they can be cheap af and give bonuses on most terains, my go to for infantry divisions is armored engineers medium flametanks rangers support anti air and hospitals, stacking as much terain bonuses as possible + anti air +hospitals give extra hp to infantry make them lose less experience makes you lose less manpower and less warsupport from combat casualties
I love that Dave calls his strategies "exploits" but the game has been updated so much he's actually just utilizing the game's features as intended. Like the Anschluss isn't an exploit- his army IS as big as it's supposed to be!
13:00 Stanley Baldwin would have been surrounded by the same general staff as Chamberlain after him and, like Chamberlain, lacked any direct military experience himself, meaning even if he was prime minister when the Munich conference went down he'd likely back appeasement for the same reasons as Chamberlain. Now, in reality, he *did* support appeasement but only because he didn't want to drag the UK into another World War unless there was a strong possibility of the UK being able to completely crush the opposing side so thoroughly that it was less a war than a slaughter and the issue was that the generals that served both Baldwin and Chamberlain were old guards who'd been in their positions since before the First World War and had either served on the front or had led the army during the war and all of them were incredibly wary of Germany's actual strength usually over estimating by one and a half to two times what their actual strength was constantly leaving the PM in the position of feeling too weak to oppose the German's will, in spite of the fact that Germany was weaker than the UK-France alliance at EVERY SINGLE APPEASEMENT even when the Italians jumped on board. So, who was to blame for appeasement? The bloody generals who were too caught up in WW1 era fears to realise that by appeasing Hilter, all they did was bring him closer to the feared strength they thought he had, and since both PM prior to Churchill lacked any military experience to call their own they blindly trusted the word of those same generals.
Is Göering one of the best Chiefs of the Airforce, when he is just a specialist (0.20 daily air exp) and has only a 2.5% reduction in production cost? When Germany has 2 experts (0.30 exp) with bonus to weather and ground support and a Genius (0.40).
sadly you can only do this having all the dlcs , it cost 75 dollars with the last dlc , i can buy entire AC games with that money . Paradox begs to be pirated at this point
if you do nothing but spam new infantry divisions (with roughly 15 mils to infantry equip) and leave yourself a window to pick the anschluss focus on april 3rd-5th there is an opportunity to take it then. i beleive thats the fastest current possible anschluss. i've done it a bunch of times in the current patch. give it a try.
This only works on the AI though, in Multiplayer any competent player can deal with this easily You can try almost anything against the AI, even just Anti Tank Armored Cars only
What? Britain declared war because Germany invaded Poland. Not France. I think your thinking of ww1 where the justification was Germany invading Belgium.
Before watching this video, I'm gonna make a guess and say that the youtuber will use any and all exploits and tricks to work around the gameplay in a way that makes all their videos look the same, but with one different focus which is only used for 1% of the entire video. *Starts video*

Nice
As long as you don't take something like Betterhelp or Kamisoto Knives and review them first before accepting
You can call it "Heavy Gustav", since schwerer = heavy
Nice Video, but you switched at 0:45 the Arty and Railway Arty Pictures
To my fellow Hoi4 players never rush for Anschluss.. wait for them to build up their economy n infrastructure and annexe them around 1938s
the problem is before gotterdammerung not rushing was okay because of the industrial focuses that austria did. But now they have massive industrial debuffs initially so you can basically scale more with rushing anschluss
Why wait for them when you already get their civs and therefore their entire building up potential anyways?
@@ahmetemregurdal501 you dont get their industrial focuses, which they AI may complete, thus giving you free extra factories
Yeah with new dlc austria can get a tonn of civilian factories through focus tree
That used to work as you got like, 3-5 extra factories, but nowadays you only get 1-2 if you're lucky
There are just so many more guaranteed focuses for the AI to do on historical
Dave really built 4 of land warfire facilities, dam!
617 squadron.... Write that down! Write that down! 😂

and if you win the air war replace the anti-air with helos.

You can also use Strategic Bombers and only set them to target forts
Going through the Magino like the old days

I mean, you could wait for a sale, so instead of costing $300+ it costs about $50 for everything
I have all DLCs, i haven't payed a dime
Dave saying "massive" every second sentence is slowly driving me insane
24:36 "I will not add a Mio to my flame-tank cause they both reduce reliability" Meanwhile adds a Mio anyway... XD
"Instill the... German word."
"But Dave, I can say it!"

Not only is this not an anschluss exploit, its just normal gameplay. Prioritizing equipment to ur standing army
20:00 you know what else is massive? THE LOW TAPER FADEEEEE
You've missed to cut out the part art 02:40 :)
Thanks bro
Currently in the middle of a terrible storm, let’s hope I get to finish this video before zues takes me away.
You dont need to improve stability as Germany.
You get 100% from your annexations and high war support.
Its a waste of 100 PP
Incorrect, war support and stability both actually go over 100 there is just no additional benefit, but having that buffer is actually kinda nice.
I started Anschluss in March 1936 and got done by end of may
Thats just second franco prussian war at this point
21:46 as a polish person this hurts my soul

I was expecting an operation tannenbaum and I'm disappointed.
You have all that fort piercing. You should make use of it while you can!
Go Dave go! Excellent quality too!
Thanks, Dave! After your videos I lose the desire to play HOI4, so I can spend my time on something more useful. Like lying on the couch.

Yeah, it wasn't built at the time
Otherwise it worked perfectly fine and as intended
@glauberglousger956 no, i mean in the second world war. Ghost division.
Railway guns do not fire while moving so that's why in America it took a moment to affect the battles

Entrenchment not taco shells
German words aren't that hard 😂
Was that a dig at Bittersteel about Goring? For some reason he refuses to use him. No idea why. Other then a personal dislike.
