- We're excited to unveil CSX Locomotive 1982, a tribute to the Seaboard System Railroad, a heritage line that merged to form CSX. Hear from CSX Waycross Locomotive Shop team members for a behind-the-scenes look at this heritage unit that celebrates our rich history. #ONECSX
Bro imagine being working at a model train store and CSX rings the phone 😂
IKR?😂😂😂😂😂
“Hello, we’d like some Seaboard Coast Line Grey”
“Just one bottle or two sir, shipping is based on quantity”
“NO, WERE GONNA NEED 1,000 GALLONS OF IT”
@@nikerailfanningttm9046Seaboard Coast Line is black and gold. not grey.
@@MystiCmeshtoolits seaboard system, seaboard coastline merged with some railroad to form seaboard system *i think*
@@Ayden2008 no, all the railroads that were under the family lines identity formed Seaboard system
It looks awesome! I can't wait to see the RF&P heritage unit!
It is always nice seeing a shiny and clean locomotive.
Did a good job with 1982. Can’t wait to see any more besides 1850.
I LOVE HERITAGE UNITS! Great job CSX, keep them coming..
Just wanted to thank CSX for heritage units. They are fantastic.
Agreed
My very first model train was an engine. That is my favorite engine.
Nice job CSX especially to the guys at the WAYCROSS facility. So awesome to see railroads from the past brought back to honor them! American Railroad History restored to its FINEST! Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA
A classic heritage unit!
As of writing this the nexts units in the shop are the C&O and L&N units.
Just caught this unit leading P001 With your CSXT1 and CSXT2! Man that was a sick train to see!
The seaboard unit looks nice, im looking forward to the future ones
Incredible concept of the Rail Companies coming together to build CSX memory Lines❤️👏👏👏 Hooray from Maine, the newest frontier!!!
Now I'll patiently wait for Railfan Danny Harmon to catch this unit and make a video.
The "fade - to - blue" really dresses up the Seaboard Grey.
Yeah this one looks pretty good!
NO IT DOESN'T!
Yeah, I like this one
@@jonathanlafferty2271 good for you karen
Love what your doing. Nice work
Its nice to see seaboard in there
CSX we love you
This is a very cool paint scheme! The Seaboard system runs through Gallatin, TN and we see these all the time
Bravo CSX as a longtime shareholder of 1,000+ shares
Thank you 😊
You are indeed the best
Finally; a company that takes pride in its people and its heritage
people just be happy we even have these, they quite literally said they were not gonna paint the full unit, so quit telling them to do so, just be happy you even have them
You think that it going to stop them.
did early christians in the roman empire stop preaching the good word because the romans said they would be put to death? Did thomas edison stop making the light bulb just because people told him to stop? NO. Nor will I cease my demands for the injustice of these so called 'heritage units' to be corrected. "just be happy you even have them" is a dogwhistle for your obvious industry shilling and connection to the Elburn, Illinois Institute for Low Intelligence. You have the mindset of an east german who doesn't want a beetle and is content in the mediocrity of a trabant. If your entire family was thrown through a woodchipper and they just had 4 fingers remaining, how would you like it if i said "just be happy you even have them". Your pitiful excuse for your obvious CSX conflict of intrest has been wiped off the face of this earth. Proceed to mald.
@@gamerfan8445 it will stop the ones with common sense
@@episode172 buddy, 2009 was 14 years ago, i think they have changed there thoughts by then,
@@episode172 well, they dont want too alert the people, that would ruin the surprise, and yeah, 2009was kinda a long time ago, its over a decade old
Look forward to seeing more
Awesome indeed!!!
Seaboard is the S in CSX Transport in 1982 they merged with Chessie Systems to form CSX. Next on the list Conrail, L&N, Monon, ACL, Pierre Masque, and finally Clinchfield Southern.
We know
SCL would be my favorite one once it releases.
Went thru Voorheesville,NY Monday-07/24/2023 @ 12:05 on I007. 🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
On the second shot, at least I guess they're 3/4s proud of their heritage...
This one is my favorite
CSX #1982 the Seaboard System heritage unit wearing classic Seaboard system colors. The gevo has a K5LA for some reason. Yes i know the video is late
Saw it!
CSX 1982 reminds me of the YN2 Livery
"Bright Future"
@@georgewilkinson1068 More like a bright future piece of scrap! I am repainting the cab area whether CSX likes it or not!
Can’t wait for 1850
I wonder if you guys got the family line systems. Because when I was a boy going to Denison Texas I saw the family line system of Louisville and Nashville/SCL in Waco Texas
Yall are doing a B&M one at some point right?
The S for CSX Stands for Seaboard like this Unit
Took y’all like two weeks. Other channels were posting it for you.
Oh so now they release the video even thought the unit came out 1 month ago lmao. Still a cool unit though. (Edited twice)
I'd love to see some "Stealth" heritage units. Call me crazy, but I'm one of the few that actually liked the earlier Blue and Gray "Stealth" schemes before the short-lived, ugly, "Grey Ghost" scheme was introduced.
Now do Raritan River Rail Road. Please
THE NOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nah.
@@dirtycamerarailfan3302 I was kidding
So now you decide to upload the 1982 unveilment video almost a month after it had been painted!?
The social media department probably forgot to upload it. It has been posted to other platforms when it was first released.
Will CSX let model railroad companies start modeling the new heritage locomotives, so that collectors like me can buy them? I have been waiting for this to happen.
Broadway announced they making 1827. But I definitely not buying it.
@yousmelllikefart same, instead I might get the BC rail one.
@@gamerfan8445 Oh yeah? WELL NEITHER AM I!
Seaboard is actually the S in CSX.
CRR is next
I hope BNSF or UP will have the privilege to operate that locomotive to California.
It because seaboard system pass my house
Wow!
Seaboard system you got a be kidding me
CSX Did you know I have a train Company (NAME) Irvine Pacific
AL IS MY COUISON
These locomotives would look better if they did not have the blue and marigold colors on them as well.
:D
GET HER BACK INTO THE PAINT SHOP AND FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED!! PAINT THAT NOSE !!
ME TOO!!! YOUR MAKING EVERYONE HATE THE FADE!!!!
@@amtrakproductions-mx9ib And also started a rail fan war! AND THEY'RE WINNING EVERYBODY WITH THIS SHITTY IDEA!
CSX i hate to say this but you forgot to paint the front! So you better get her back into the paint shop
hey crybabies, if you cant accept the fact they wont paint the cab, then why bother commenting about it? csx aint gonna listen to yall, they dont gotta paint the cab
That's fine. We still don't like them.
@@MystiCmeshtool who’s “we”
@@TRAIN110ValleyProductions People that don't like the heritage units.
bruh
PAINT THE WHOLE LOCOMOTIVE PLEASE!!!!
I AGREE!!!
THEY WON'T LISTEN TO YOUR REQUEST. I'LL DO IT! Whether CSX likes it or not!
I can do better with heritage units by adding the old railroad colors on the cab area and the lightning under the number than you guys.
Thanks for posting this on y'all's channel, can finally take y'all's video down
The yellow is wrong , the shape is incorrect and the nose is not complete , in all a total failure !!
Y'all lucky they painted it ..they not NS
Once again as all of them now CSX and their junkyard specials.
Looking like they took a front clip from another vehicle and stuck it on 🤣🤣
@CSXOfficial super cool 🦺
