Angela you’ve done it again!👏 ❤️ I’m 61, retired early, have heart problems amongst other health issues, am helping raise our grandson (7y) who lives with us (and his disabled mommy) and have many irons in the fire daily. Simplicity and working towards more minimalism is a necessity and a blessing for me especially in this stage of life I’m in. The simpler the better. Anything to ease up on the daily work in our life. Having fewer possessions (necessities rule) equals less to have to take care of 🎉 My cardiologist’s mantra to me every visit is reduce all unnecessary stress. The things you talk about, express taking joy in etc always resonates with me and I feel we are kindred spirits 😊 God bless you and keep up the awesome work you’re doing! I know I benefit from your encouragement ❤️
I’m so happy to hear that my channel has had a positive impact on your life! Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m sure life seems exhausting at times - but wow…each breath is a blessing! ❤️
Another peaceful and restorative video ❤ My life is very different as a single, older woman with disabling chronic illness, yet your advice resonates. Keeping life as simple and curated as possible makes all the difference in not only keeping daily tasks easy and manageable, but also keeping my mental and emotional balance. My health has deteriorated since I have implemented minimalism, yet I have a more bountiful and free life overall. God is very good indeed. ❤ Angela, do you think you could do a video on how you started making your own bread and how to do it?
I’m sorry to hear of your declining health but happy that you are still finding joy and peace in life even with tough circumstances. ❤️ as far as bread goes…I would refer you to the YT channel or blog called ‘farmhouse on Boone’ - she’s a real expert and who I’ve been learning from. I’ve only been working with sourdough for about 6 months! Ha! ❤️
I know so many people that have the big house but choose not to spend much time in it. They purposely fill their calendars with social activities, vacations, etc. I enjoy being home. Can you do a "what we ate for dinner this week" video?
This video was so beautifully done. I'm a homebody but I used to really hate cleaning. Decluttering made it easier so I became more neutral about it. Finding some tricks like habit stacking a kitchen reset after breakfast (when my energy is decent and my back is rested) has helped too. I still don't like doing household chores but I accept them as necessary and beneficial to be done regularly.
You've just found the chapters of your book! This is probably one of the most practical videos I've seen. So much of life is a mindset, not just a how-to. Really, this was excellent. THANK YOU! Ever since I started watching your videos a few years ago, I have striven to acquire your sense of calm and peace. (I'm far from it yet, but always a work in progress...) How-to's are one thing, and suggestions of where to organize or declutter are the same kind of thing, but THIS! These powerful habits can change your life!
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to imply that other videos are less than or not helpful, because they are very much helpful and inspiring! I appreciate all the videos you have done. You seem to have a quirky sense of humor, a chill attitude, an amazing knowledge of your content, and such a wonderful way of expressing your ideas and concepts in a way that is so understandable and relatable. I want to be you when I grow up (even though I believe I am older than you. LOL) Keep up the good work!
Such a lovely video. Thank you! It is finally feeling a bit like autumn here in Philly. Grateful for the blessings of cooler air and abundance at the farmers markets!
9 more years till I can retire and be home. I am so scared that I will die early and will have worked my entire life and never have the simple life I crave!
Take your life one day at a time , even if necessary take it one moment at a time. Put your life in the hands of Jesus Christ , the Risen Savior. Live in the moment, stress and worry do help anyone stay healthy
Washing dishes is actually one of my favorite chores! It’s so relaxing to me - ha ha! I actually tell my family to leave me to them, and they spend that time getting ready for bed and tidying up other spaces ❤️
These habits keep our simple life running smoothly. What are some of your favorite tips to cultivate a simple life at home?

Hi! I’ve thought about doing a video like that - and might do so during the cooler months…my favorite for cooking!
