Take your time buddy! no need to get urself burntout when you (atleast i recon?) are kinda freshly started with the content creation of sim racing. We rather see you come back strong and refreshed when the time to do so has come! i wish u and ur gf luck with the buisneiss!
Thanks for the encouraging words. This is my plan right now, will put content creation to the side for a bit, but will hopefully get back into it.
I have some experience with trackmania as well. I shortly played the free one on Steam, purchased Turbo on discount on console and tried out the current one on console on release. Nations forever (iirc thats the free one on steam) and Turbo are amazing fun, especially the latter to the point i tried to only progress if i got a trackmaster medal per track i advance to. The user made tracks are indeed an amazing feature to have!
That being said... The current trackmania is for me not worth playing anymore. The free version offers barely anything, it being a subsciption service and it being under the ubisoft banner wich recently got, fully deserved, critique in regards to the whole drama around the original the crew game makes me want to stay miles away from it.
I just noticed that the current trackmania is on steam as well. Can't really speak to the whole deal with the crew and Ubisoft, as I don't know the details. I can only say that I find it difficult to avoid a whole publisher, especially when that mostly hurts the actual game devs.
@@HDeeRacing the short version is that Ubisoft pulled the plug on the servers for the original the crew wich requires An online connection at all times to even play the regular singleplayer modes. Now that that's gone, you can't play it. But the real issue is Ubisoft revoking the license from anyone that bought it digitally, essentially saying you don't own the games you buy from them. There's a couple of videos that go into more detail about all this.
I have made the journey the other way, I have 1000+ hours in TM 2020 and just started to play simracing, offline, I'm still to slow for online but having fun. Trackmania is as you say a game I also use for relaxing. I have been in your situation, so take care and play what you like, health is more importans. Found your channel when looking for how to learn setups i ACC.

Hello HD, this is an interesting vid. I have never heard of this game before your vid. I play Forza Horizon 5 for pure entertainment, fun, and pleasure. Even the more serious multiplayer is more fun primarily because the ghosting and real time penalties work so much better than the still, very flawed FM penalty system where some of the players do their best to ruin other players experiences.
WRT activities during stressful times, I highly recommend some time at the gym for the social, mind, and body.

Hey Blistery, same I also played a lot of FH3-5, they're great games. Trackmania is quite different, which is what I was looking for, but still very fun.

I would enjoy some FH5 content or GT4 for ACC 😁👍. (Does your setup guide in ACC also work for the GT4 cars?)
Trackmania was great on PC but I dislike it on console for some reason 🤔
I was thinking about doing some FH5, but wanted a bit more of a palette cleanser. I for sure want to do GT4 on ACC again, so that'll happen in the future. The setup guide works for them, I just tend to setup GT4 more extrem towards oversteer, because they are so safe out of the box.
Weird that you dislike TM on consoles, anything specific that's different?

I’ve been modernizing two 90 year old hand squared log cottages over the last number of years. Definitely no video games, however with the Starlink I definitely could,….but won’t. 😀👍👍
