You should try some of these, i wouldnt really call Undercover ps2/wii bad. Its stiol fun and if you never played it but liked Most Wanted and Carbon then you will love it. Even if its a bit undercooked. Still better than PC version of it. Mainly thanks to Carbon/MW05 physics.

The handling sucked ass and you could cheese the game by wall grinding 90% of track, really wasn’t that good. Pretty sure it’s just impossible to have decent car controls in the frostbite engine, even the crew was better.

I got one of these terrible need for speed ports in 5th grade when a kid gave it to me during secret Santa, literally the week he got it... I had more fun with the cover art than with the actual game, so I kept the box in my backpack for the longest time because it was too cool to throw away, but even as a kid, I felt like this didn't deserve to stay at my house.

As for the car sounds you mentioned; you're technically correct for what they sounded like; they are in fact the sounds for the Carrera GT and R34 Skyline in the Shift games.
I didn't play the Wii version, but I did play the 3DS version when I was younger. For the 3DS, it was a good game on a system where racing games were a somewhat rare sight. I was always fascinated with the story, especially since I was never fond of the one in every other version. Heck, I'd argue it's better.
I love the content! I miss the original rat and would love to see some redesigns to improve on the new one, but as long as you are enjoying doing what you're doing, I don't have complaints. Nice vid!

One of my favourite part of Wii version of The Run is at one point of the story, the protag managed to take down a flying helicopter WITH A GODDAMN GOLF CLUB. It's hilarious yet so awesome i can't even be mad at it.
tbh when i was a kid back then, i loved this game on the wii. As a 10-11yr old kid, you really dont care about the gameplay, and having these events like jumping that broken bridge were actually really fun. When i saw that scene in your Video, it gave me goose bumps because of the memories that came up with the game. It might be one of the worst need for speeds, but it still managed to be fun for my 10yr old underdeveloped brain :D

The guy who made some Iron Man soundtracks also made the The Run (the original one) soundtrack. Mick Gordon created the World soundtrack. Those 2 are some of the best original compositions in the franchise and I would recommend checking them out. I'm weirded out they didn't take top talent again for the payback soundtrack, since they wanted to do an "epic" game again (damn that one sucked though)
No, the car sounds used for this games are mainly from NFS Shift 1-2. The Porsche 918 RSR used the Gallardo sound which was used for the Carrera GT in NFS Shift 1-2. For the main version they used a F6 Porsche sound which they re-used from NFS World but the Carrera GT sound is from NFS HP 2010 because Black Box took sounds from Criterion. Also at 8:15 this sounds nothing like NFS UG2. It sounds like NFS UC's nis_sky_c or more exactly almost the same as the PC version of the game. But the modified T6 version uses Acura NSX sound like the T4/T5 200SX.
Fun fact: for the music in the run actúally 70 percent of the music is a remix from other games, some of there are from, like in the video, nfs hot pursuit 2, nfs high stakes, nfs III hot pursuit, But something i noticed they used the romolo di prisco songs, and for the engine sounds for the some cars in the run they also used the mclaren f1 and porsche 911 carrera from nfs high stakes for some cars, and the 3ds version of the run also is a bit buggy, for example in the snow stages you at some speed can trasspas the floor.

If you’re a programmer/designer who doesn’t like every day driving (like almost everyone) and you have no real interest I cars, you’d be looking to other games that you understand. Maybe you like Boney Dork’s Stakeboarding, and you wonder whether you can make a game appeal to you via button combos, maybe you can freak the story to be more sensational to keep your attention? All in all: you want a great game? Make sure the people who are making it care about the subject matter.

Well you see, this game was made for the 3DS and ported to the Wii. As far as I know this is the only game that was ever ported from the 3DS to the Wii.

I like to think that nfs the run on wii is that you fallow a different protagonist than the ps3 version that take place around the same time

Also, the Most Wanted remake from 2012 is my number one contender for worst console title, mostly because it didn’t even try to resemble the original and felt like a half assed Burnout title

Nah, MW2012 was pretty alright in retrospect. Feels like it gets overhated purely cos of the name and nothing else, because it's pretty decent, even with the turbulent dev history and EA meddling.
Imo mw2012 had great ost, graphics, car sounds and gameplay but I get why it gets so much hate
Even the 3DS build had somewhat better graphics e.g. specular highlights on road surface. The "heroic" stuff is clearly a gimmick too.
To be honest, the regular Need for Speed: The Run is actually the worse version than the Wii and 3DS version mostly for the game physics.

I got nfs undercover for wii and this game too when i was like 6 (i'm 13 now), and i still have them, but the undercover one is scratched and doesn't work
They were both fun tho
