I have a box version of flatout ultimate carnage and it works just fine the only questionable thing is that main menu runs at around 40fps but everything is just great in flatout ultimate carnage

I have nostalgia for FlatOut 2 and Ultimate Carnage. Is sad that Ultimate Carnage didn't worked, because it's FlatOut 2 extended edition with extra cars and a second "campaign".
A little correction: The Original developers made FO1,2 and UC. FO3 was not made by bugbear and was released after UC’s launch. Weird how you didn’t get UC to launch. It works well on my Win10 PC.

What's interesting is that the game developing team named GOOD BOYS has developed Trail Out, which is basically a parody game of FlatOut with the story mode, and the total reviews of Trail Out are getting closer to FlatOut 2, mostly the positive ones. Some players say that Trail Out deserves to be the actual FlatOut 3.
Trail Out , a game made by another company entirely feels the closest to what Flatout 3 should've been Wreckfest, its way more sim than arcade but still beautiful and fun

I’ve noticed in the last few years flatout has been gaining popularity. So glad the game that raised me and i still play to this day is getting the attention it deserved.
I am SO ready for this!! *Edit after watching* OMG the new avatar kills me 😂 and flatout 2 is one of my all-time racing games! The mini games, the main campaign, car customization, and the destruction derby matches were SO addicting. Oh, also a killer soundtrack! The PS2 version had different songs vs the PC port for some reason haha
@@BlooTeg Thankfully not much different! I have all the PC ports of these games and I feel the only difference from the console versions is the step up in graphics and the sound tracks. I mostly play flatout ultimate carnage on PC though because of it's better visuals, more cars/tracks, and I enjoy the game modes a bit more!
ALso check out Wreckfest! It's made by the guys who made the original Faltout 1 and 2 and it's AMAZING. Doesn't have the ability to fly out of the car when you crash but everything else feels like a next-gen flatout with amazing crash physics
Flatout is my most favorite racing series ( bugbear games only). They just knew what they were doing and, the best thing, HAD FUN MAKING IT. You can feel the passion behind these games. Flatout 2/uc are still the best derby racing games EVER. Still tops any other racing game even burnout imo

Test Drive Eve of Destruction (driven to destruction in PAL regions) predates Flatout by a couple of months and is a hidden gem for anyone that enjoys destructive racing
One of my earliest memories of coming back to the United States after living in Mexico for two years was my cousins showing me Flatout, it blew my mind when I was that young and it was SO FUN to play together!
FO1 was my first pc game, dad bought it for himself and then i tryed myself that game too,...and today i think for me its best car racing series for me,...even better than underground 2,...

I'm glad you enjoyed Flatout 2, I'll recommend you get Ultimate Carnage fixed, it's a remake/remaster or FO2, it adds some new cars, better graphics, more rivals on the track and a Challenge Series type mode which it's the way to unlock the cars and tracks. My only gripe with the game is the soundtrack, it's not bad in fact is actually really good, but IMO you can't beat the original.
Flatout was my first 3d game I ever played. I got with my ps2 which was my first console from my dad when I was 7 years old about 14 years ago, flatout and flatout 2 are such great games, I'm happy I grew up with them and I'm happy people are still discovering and playing these games today.
I remember my first introduction to this series being Flatout: Head-On for the PSP. I enjoyed it so much that I went and bought Flatout 2 so I can enjoy the game without having to look at such a small screen and getting tossed around while riding in my parents car as I play. Also, Dig the new art for the channel. As much as the old beaver was nice, the new art is a good improvement over the old Nintendo model. I hope to see your channel grow more. 👍

Driv3r has a great story, soundtrack and frankly I feel like the game gets a lot of weird hate, yeah the person moments aren't the best, Driver has never been about that. The gameplay is with the cars and It feels great and very realistic in terms of how each vehicle has different weight to them and drives faster or slower depending on the choice of vehicle.
For the original, you can complete & win races without nitrous, but it's there if you need it. In a way, it provides an enjoyable experience for different types of gameplay. If you get out in front, you can just drive clean to your destination. Crashing slows you down, but if you like crashing, nitrous can compensate and allow you to remain competitive, if you like automotive combat. It seems to be a nicely balanced game.
I think that Wreckfest was made with the intention of being a Flatout spiritual successor. I would be interested in knowing why do you think it's not good. Also, day 1 of asking for Crash Team Racing

I had to follow these steps as follows: 1. Open Steam 2. Click on games and then view games library. 3. Right click on "Flatout Ultimate Carnage." 4. On the drop down menu left click on Properties. 5. Click on Local files and then click on Browse local files. 6.Right click on Launcher and then left click on Properties. 7. Then click on ' Compatibility'. 8. Tick the box in 'Run this program in compatibility mode and choose your windows operating system by clicking on it. 9. Then tick box to 'Run this program as administrator' 10. Then finally click apply and then OK. Not only should the game work but so should the Games for Windows Live window!!! If it wasn't for someone posting this online, I never would have got the game running. Took me long enough to find it. IDK if this is the same issue you are having, but it's worth mentioning just incase.

I have loved flatout 1 and 2 for years, I have so many hours into 2 on ps2, psp, and pc. It's a shame Shame ultimate destruction didn't work. it's flatout 2, but with some more stuff!
Strongly agree with your Burnout take. Although crash mode is fun, the meat and potatoes (for me) has always been the high speed racing and crashing. Sending somebody hurtling into anything at blistering speeds and watching them disintegrate into car confetti is WAY better and more satisfying then crash mode.
Flatout UC is just basically Flatout 2 but better, 12 racers instead of 4, better graphics and no strong yellow/orange filter on it as well as a redesigned UI

I've totally been waiting for this video. I still play flatout 2 and it's honestly aged like fine wine. the physics are on point and the soundtrack is an absolute headbanger. Also the stunt mode is extremely fun when you're playing with friends. Great work as always, blue!
Also there was a game that i dont really remember what it had and the name of it, all that i remember that it was a racing game, the menu was black and green i think, the shortcut for the game too i think, I'm sure the game is from around 2014 or below since i played it years ago and i also remember that trees we're just two 2d textures on each other, I'm still searching for this game and cant find it. All i remember right now is that on of the tracks had secret entrance trought the trees and the shortcut was a race flag and i think it was green, cant remember anything else right now.

Ultimate Carnage is basically an expansion for Flatout 2. It's Flatout 2 with slightly more content, and with 12 drivers instead of 8.

Turn 6 also developed a game called Glacier for the wii, it's flatout 3 with ice and guns. It's horrendous.

I've totally been waiting for this video. I still play flatout 2 and it's honestly aged like fine wine. the physics are on point and the soundtrack is an absolute headbanger. Also the stunt mode is extremely fun when you're playing with friends.

Odd. When you played Flatout 2 without the Widescreen mod it's stretched, but when I played it, it has the regular resolution with black borders.
that's on the GPU settings, I usually leave it stretched because of CSGO haha

Also there was a game that i dont really remember what it had and the name of it, all that i remember that it was a racing game, the menu was black and green i think, the shortcut for the game too i think, I'm sure the game is from around 2014 or below since i played it years ago and i also remember that trees we're just two 2d textures on each other, I'm still searching for this game and cant find it. Please help if you can.

All i remember right now is that on of the tracks had secret entrance trought the trees and the shortcut was a race flag and i think it was green, cant remember anything else right now.
And i remember that i was racing against multiple people (bots probably)

Flatout ultimate carnage is basically flatout 2 with some additions, the original Flatout 2 is still amazing tho.
also a tip for ultimate carnage, you download a file from bulletstorm to get the game to work properly, should be in the support section
