Everyone does it differently. The gentlemen who made that video and said he ended up ripping out the entire part of his dash and leaving it like that because it didn’t hold up. This is a perm fix

I got the same issue as well. You reckon a bead of black caulk between the gap in the plastic and the dash display might clean that last bit up?

Mazda has never used BMW engines. They were partially owned by ford so they had ford engines. But they never had anything to do with Germany
