Mazda has never used BMW engines. They were partially owned by ford so they had ford engines. But they never had anything to do with Germany

Hey by chance, did you clear code after you installed the new oxygen sensor? Or did you just perform a drive cycle and it eventually went away?
@@socaljr9526 I generally clear the codes but waiting until it cycles and turns off naturally is best.

what are the odds...i got the same motor and rented the same tester. only difference is i pulled the motor off and its hanging from an engine crane while i finished up the transom. im trying to find a video on how to comp test (just a motor). as if you were purchasing a used motor and it was on a stand. my first thought is to just power up the starter for 3 seconds and disengage. i might unplug coils out of good practice.

I got the same issue as well. You reckon a bead of black caulk between the gap in the plastic and the dash display might clean that last bit up?

Everyone does it differently. The gentlemen who made that video and said he ended up ripping out the entire part of his dash and leaving it like that because it didn’t hold up. This is a perm fix

You skip over where you are taking parts from... very confusing.. Tip slow down moving the camera.. have ample lighting. and show where screws and parts are before removing them...

3:35 This red/black plug is giving me problems. The red component will not move back no matter how much force I'm applying, although it's not much force to begin with since it's done in such a cramped space. How did you pull it off?
You have to push the red clip back to release the safety so it will unhook

No there's me explaining how i broke the housing and removed security bolts and replaced it. I used a chisel but i broke the plastic housing is a different place than most people.

Porfirio Gomez use a mirror to see it. It’s pretty easy you just have to push it down past the clip. Use a short flat head screw driver or hook
