The 1-2-1 is a high percentage entry even when kicking is allowed. A consideration that needs to be made is when the opponent favors lead leg push or side kicks, especially if they are good at baiting you in by chambering their kick. In these instances punch and movement feints become much more important, as well as the use of lead leg chopping or teeps just prior to entering with a 1-2-1.

Hey just discovered your channel. loving all the videos. Been boxing for around a year now on and off took it up after a bad breakup with my ex and it helped me get through it mentally and I get to stay really fit at the same time. I'm quite naturally big and muscly which doesn't help with my issue and I know a lot of beginners suffer with this too. One of my biggest problems is I'm too tense/ stiff all the time and so I get tired out very easily and it also affects my speed and being able to throw longer combinations . so can you do a video on tips on how to loosen up or some drills for shadow boxing or heavy bag to incorporate this ? Thanks for all the awesome stuff

Remember to breath, be conscious about it.
Also, when you're out of his range, relax your muscle, keep this also in mind.
Don't punch super hard when it's not necessary, soft but quick punches are also very effective to keep the pase.
Remember this three things when you're sparring or fighting and you'll defently feel the difference. Good luck and stay safe, fellas.
