What a beginner training session looks like or consist of from round to round from start to finish.
Thank you!
What would you recommend for "off the bag" workout? Abs, obviously but, what else?
I've heard that some professional boxers don't do any weight training, what is your view on this?
-Thomas T
I remember my first fight; it was against someone a good bit taller than me. I had only sparred someone taller than me once. I lost that fight because I had no idea how to effectively get inside. I've been working on it every week sense. Thanks for the video!
I'm 5'6".. I know how u feel.. I was always bullied.. getting better at fighting bigger more aggressive guys.. now I can say... BRING IT!!! All the best to u and ur training my friend.. keep at it brother.. much love from Toronto Canada 🤍🙏💪🥊

You will get better with experience. Keep up the good work
I'm constantly amazed at how great your videos are. I've been trained by and with pros and ex-pros, and you are at or above them all. Short clear explanations. Every. Single. Video. Outstanding content.
The 1-2-1 is a high percentage entry even when kicking is allowed. A consideration that needs to be made is when the opponent favors lead leg push or side kicks, especially if they are good at baiting you in by chambering their kick. In these instances punch and movement feints become much more important, as well as the use of lead leg chopping or teeps just prior to entering with a 1-2-1.
Niice! This is exactly what I needed. I've always had trouble getting in on taller opponents.
Your videos has been a great help to still allow me to train at home. And I can't wait to try out a lot of what I've learned from this channel when gyms in my city open up again. Thank you 🙏🥊 🥊
Thank you Brandley for this question. Clearly explained and demonstrated. Thanks Tony.
As soon as I saw the title of your video and your various techniques, Mike Tyson came to mind. He applied them in just about every fight only to release his devastating punching power.
as always fantastic, I love that short format
I learn a lot of great boxing tips from your videos, tips that I'll keep in mind and use in my training.
I swear, I never fail to learn something new from Tony's videos. Keep it up sir. These are fantastic!
Thanks for your great videos. Your tips are an enrichment for the training👍

@@MoAli6 could you please explain how to fight smaller opponent?
@@Subscriber-xc7cs Keep the distance, use the reach and keep him at bay. Utilise the jab and keep on him, don’t let him come on the inside

method #1 is my favourite, Monday I will try it, thank you Tony ^^

This helpful information because I got a spar against a heavyweight on Tuesday.
Love the video.
I tried this today at boxing classes. It WORKS like a charm. The most important thing is to do the feint at the beginning. The feint is key. It works with 1,2, 3 combo and with multiple jabs as long as you feint.
Love your videos, man. Really helpful. Can you please make a video on "developing the fight stamina".
The things you wish you knew before starting boxing?
Thanks in advance coach 🥊
Cheers Tony topman really needed this
Thanks Tony! This is great stuff
Great content as usual Tony. Can you do equipment review videos? Would like to know what the pros use. And maybe some workouts that arent known or used often
Another good one Tony! Thank you.
Very good coach, thanks for these nice tips!
Thanks for the knowledge coach
Another good video, I always like the jab cross jab. My favourite combination when working out on the heavy bag for fitness is step forward jab, cross jab and finish with a hard lead hand hook to the body.
thank you this coach is very helpful, I hope one day I can train with you 🙏🏾
Sir i like the way you keep your video short and easy to understand. You always come with great techniques, and trust me i apply most of it in my sparing. Thanks a lot coach. Love from, Jaipur, India ❤
Thanks for the video!
Thanks man i needed this video
Man! your videos are awesome

Thank you Maestro!
No concerns or requests. Honestly just love watching your content lol
It worked. Thank you! 3th is my best too!
Hey just discovered your channel. loving all the videos. Been boxing for around a year now on and off took it up after a bad breakup with my ex and it helped me get through it mentally and I get to stay really fit at the same time. I'm quite naturally big and muscly which doesn't help with my issue and I know a lot of beginners suffer with this too. One of my biggest problems is I'm too tense/ stiff all the time and so I get tired out very easily and it also affects my speed and being able to throw longer combinations . so can you do a video on tips on how to loosen up or some drills for shadow boxing or heavy bag to incorporate this ? Thanks for all the awesome stuff
Greetings from Italy you make top quality videos⚡⚡
Thanks for this!!!
Love your videos man ❤️
Great vid mate👍
Good stuff, coach!
Thank you mate your boxing tips are great greetings from Las Vegas apart of FMW team. Good luck to you from my team to yours. I remember my first fight was against a very tall Ukranian guy who was 6'7. The Feint step step method is a good one feint to the left then to the right.
I’ve ninja-watched way too long. I should’ve subbed long ago. Your explanations are gold. Subbed.
I’ve got my first ever fight tomorrow night, it’s only white collar charity fight but found out last night who my opponent was, and he is taller, bigger and fitter, no hope lol.
I’ve never spared or trained with anyone taller so I hope your videos help.
I’ve been watching them since I signed up to the fight.
Here goes everything I’ve got 💪🤛👊
can you make a video on how to be relaxed while boxing and not stiff
Especially when under pressure, that would be good.
Remember to breath, be conscious about it.
Also, when you're out of his range, relax your muscle, keep this also in mind.
Don't punch super hard when it's not necessary, soft but quick punches are also very effective to keep the pase.
Remember this three things when you're sparring or fighting and you'll defently feel the difference. Good luck and stay safe, fellas.
I'd love to see more videos like this one
I love this so much Tony. I like the execution of the feint and especially how smooth it closes in the distance. Great video and excellent tip
Fantastic!! I have boxing 🥊 books but never that advance and simple, the way you taught it to me in getting inside of a taller op!! In this video!!! Robert Duran had a major weakness in fighting taller opponents!! Even through he was a master inside fighter!! Thomas hitman proved that!
Thank I always watched ur video
And I apply it ur r great💖
this is the video i need, tk
Hey! Can you do a video on working out with a double end bag? Love the channel! Thanks!👍
Love you man
It would be really cool to have a Do a don't on head movement. Thanks for the content coach

Hey Tony , thank you very much. Can you upload a video regarding sparring excercices ; best regards from Austria

Very good. Thank you. Next video idea: How to counter these. (I'm under impression that you just slip/move/retreat to your left. )

Thanks lot 😊 ☺ 🙏
Dear teacher,,,,,,,
Thanks uncle tony us short kings appreciate u
Well done on your channel tony only new you did this because of your Facebook page 🔴⚪️👍🏻
Tony Jeffries is actually my idol man. This guys taught me so much
Tony, would be great to see a video with the role switched: how a taller fighter/a fighter with a long reach can have success against a shorter, more explosive fighter. Love your work, thanks!
this will be a great video added it to my list - so keep ya eyes open for it mate (turn on the bell notifications so u don’t miss it)
Make a video about glove sizes. Love your videos mate!
He replied to a comment of mine on one of his previous videos, I think it’s in the pipeline 💪🏼
I got this on my list mate thanks for the suggestion!
Can u make a video on tips to keep proper footwork. Maybe drills or tips on how to keep proper form. Would be helpful for beginners not used to the movements.
Love the content, when do you think it's the right strategy to change your stance during exchanges or as a strategy at all? Like fighting a couple rounds ortho, maybe mid round switch to southpaw?
Superb
Great advice coach. What do you think about stepping forward with the jab in stance then stepping forward and switching stance while stepping and throwing the cross and then stepping forward and punching while throwing the last jab back in the original stance? I've seen a lot of eastern European boxers do this.
Thank you
Can you make a video on tips for How to angle out of punches while going in for punches? , Art of hitting and not getting hit. ‼️
Thanks coach for the tips it helps a lot. ...and thank you for the last video i got over my fear and the quote helps 💪💪
thanks this rlly helped as i am 5'5 and I sparred with someone that was close to 6'7 and it was hell
Please make a video about how to be better because that would help me a lot
Hi Tony any chance of a video on turning out of a corner offensively, thanks
the last combination reminds me of a combo used my manny, he use a feint jab then a jab then cross to the body then a lead hook/straight to the head...
Como siempre muy buenos tips
My apologies mate Can't understand
Tony, how about techniques to win against a South paw fighter and South paw traps. Also style switching (switching: orthodox, South paw, orthodox). Bit technical I know.
I love all your videos and subscribed! I'm a southpaw, I love how you explain and breakdown over the course of hole videos.Every now in then in future videos is it possible to go southplace and explain some of these concepts in both stances? Not everything but I'd love to really see this video in southpaw!
Hi mate, some viewers might not watch that... but I got some videos for southpaw - search Tony Jeffries Southpaw
@@Tony_Jeffries understandably so, I get why you wouldnt remake the same video. I was curious because, I've only seen one so far didnt know if you even made southpaw videos I been going down the list on the channel literally so I'm sure I havent fully dug in quite yet thanks for the reply friend
Thanks coach, please teach us the different methods to counter a straight right.
this will be a great video added it to my list - so keep ya eyes open for it mate (turn on the bell notifications so u don’t miss it)
Can you do a video about throwing uppercuts on the inside? Mixing headshots with body
Would love to see a video on how to handle a younger faster opponent :) I'm 44 so my hand speed has gone down
