R. Lee Ermey was such inspired casting for Wildcat. He really totally embodies that spirit of "Yeah, I'm old, but I can *absolutely* still beat your ass to a pulp". He can swagger, he can lecture, and he can taunt like no one else! Even if the lines aren't great (which, they *were* great, but the point stands), his voice still gave them that edge and power.
DC seems to have adopted a sliding timescale that in this version, places the JSA well outside of current adventures. No more showing up for team-ups. Long live Wildcat and the JSA.
