- These are scenes from the Sega CD game, The Adventures Of Batman and Robin. It was based on the TV show Batman The Animated Series. These segments were split up between gameplay, and when put together would resemble an episode of the show. This particular part of the game featured The Riddler as a boss. I took all the scenes featuring him and uploaded them here for viewers on RUclips to see.
The Riddler is a fictional character, a comic book supervillain appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. He usually appears as an enemy of Batman. Created by writer Bill Finger and artist Dick Sprang, the character first appeared in Detective Comics #140 (1948). In 2009, the Riddler was ranked as IGN's 59th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time.[1]
The Riddler is obsessed with riddles, puzzles, and word games. He delights in forewarning both Batman and the police of his capers by sending them complex clues. With this self-conscious use of a gimmick, the Riddler's crimes are flamboyant and ostentatious. The character is often depicted as wearing a domino mask either with a green suit and bowler hat, or a green unitard with question mark prints. A black, green, or purple question mark serves as his visual motif.

I never noticed until I was first introduced to the Riddler, he's named after The Blue Furness Railway Mixed Traffic Tender Engine. Edward the Number 2 Blue Engine. 🙂💙2.

I can't decide if I like this Riddler more than the one from the Arkham games or not. They both have great personalities!

Arkham Riddler can go fuck himself with his trophies. You do it once but never again.
The writers treated Arkham Asylum like a continuation of TAS when they were creating the Arkham-verse. So these two Riddlers are basically the same. Both are very good.
Have to admit, the music when Batman confronts the robot Riddler....pure genius. If nothing else (IDK, never played this game), it got the OST right.
For an Early 90s Lost Episode, the music is totally Late 2000s

Batman didn't do anything on the Virtual Reality. All he did was just Stare at the Riddler's floating Head and Plummet to the Blue Abyss.

Mine favourite is from all Arkham games: even the Knight one. People complain him being the joke there, but they forgot that this is exactly the point here: through all plot chronology he digresses from almost normal human being to the pity psycho.

They have about the same on average really, it all depends on the art style and production, especially in TV stuff cause theatrical stuff generally has more time and money behind it to polish things up, whereas TV stuff will have to somewhat cut corners.
And animation isn't all about the number of frames but how they're used, a fluid scene isn't necessarily well animated, there's a bunch of other elements that go into making good animation.

The fact that this version of Riddler can keep up with Batman in a melee fight is very impressive.

The Riddler used his big brain of his to make evil creations to outsmart Batman. The Riddler loves to trick and torment the Caped Crusader and always leaving riddles behind for the Dark Knight to solve. The villain thought that no one will able to solve the puzzle, clues and riddles, except Batman whi can prove him wrong.

I always like it when Riddler says you cheated:
A) If he did cheat doesn’t that still imply that he’s smarter if he noticed a flaw in Riddler’s plan that he didn’t notice.
B) His riddles are supposed to have a solution so if he solved so if he solved it that sounds, if he really thinks that nobody can think at his level, how could he cheat other than making the same conclusions he would.
C) What other solution was there to get out of the virtual reality trap other than him powering through it and breaking free? And if it was not designed with an exit strategy then that just means he’s as good at traps as he is with riddles (Good but not as good as he thinks).

Why does Riddler always call Batman the Dark Knight
The same reason Ra’s Al Ghul calls Batman “Detective”, Talia Al Ghul calls Batman “beloved”, Catwoman calls Batman “handsome”, Penguin calls Batman “Rodent”, Joker calls Batman “Batboy”. It’s their endearing way of interacting with Batman. They look at Batman as more of a “frenemy” than an enemy. They enjoy the competition and the thrill of facing him in battles.

@@GamingPaladin That's kinda the point. To prove he's smarter than batman that's why he leaves clues .The Riddler tests batmans intellegence. For example he took over Gothom city and outsmarted batman pretty easily forcing him to be better and even then Riddler made it hard as hell. Or literly screwing batman over in an unfair puzzle game testing his morals/ code in a lose/lose situation. He had bettean other superheros like the Flash. Had also proven to be able to wipe out batman whole rouge gallery if he really felt like it with the exeption of maybe Joker.
