"I need to turn up my hearing aids, cause all I hear is you sucking wind" is such a raw line, and it doesn't get enough credit.
The original Wildcat (Ted grand),also appeared in 3 episodes of Stargirl in flaschback
Facts on facts..
Link?
@@Jackseyez There’s no link, it’s episode 2x03. He also fights the Yolanda Montez’s Wildcat in the 2x13 finale, pretty cool fight.
By the way it's Ted Grant not Grand. You misspelled the last name.
Can we take a moment on knowing that R. Lee Ermey aka Gunnery Sgt. Hartman from Full Metal Jacket voiced Wildcat in Batman Brave and the Bold? That is badass!
Personally, in my opinion, if they ever did a DCU project focused on Ted Grant, a.k.a. Wildcat, I’d like to think that it’s a tribute to the Rocky films but has a very different story to tell, and as for the actor who would play Wildcat, I think it’s either Sylvester Stallone or someone who looks like a boxer.
Ted Grant eventually filed a role similar to Captain America. They were both trainers in hand to hand fighting for their respective teams.
Although unlike Cap Ted doesn’t have any powers
@@michaelnally2841 he can actually lift 800 pounds. That’s similar to Captain America and that’s without powers
Damn he is one of my favorite characters of the JSA but sadly DC doesn't show him in an modern series or movies like YG season 4 or even the JSA movie that released this year I mean he is a famous one like Jay and Alan(but sadly doesn't have a successor)
He has a son iirc but i like to think his successor is batman.
Sadly Wildcat’s only appearances in young justice is in flashbacks and newspaper articles of the justice society. And he only appears once in person in the tie in comics at a fallen society members funeral. That’s it, no lines no nothing. Which I think is a travesty because I could totally see him trying to train the younger heroes or in this one string of episodes where Red Tornado is missing he decides to be their “den mother” for the time being like Wally be cocky and Ted knocks him down, and someone like Green Arrow be like “be careful with the old guy” or something like that.
Even though he's older he has the spirit of a young guy. Shit this dude is more fit than most young people

Wildcat is the coolest cat and hero ever
Thank you,you are the best fors always listening to our requests
I want him in YJ but favorite iterations are from JLU and Batman the brave and the bold
Well. He technically did appear he is in flashbacks of the Justice Society and in one of the tie in comics he has a brief cameo at the funeral for Kent Nelson but it’s a blink and you’ll miss it cameo. Likely because him, red tornado, and Jay Garrick are the last surviving members of the JSA as we don’t see any of the others there nor do we have any confirmation they’re still alive.
One of the greatest hand to hand combatients in the DC Universe
Yes Sir! Best one! Love him…
He Does seem like a good idea
Stephen Lang is the perfect Wildcat/ Ted Grant for Zack Snyder's JL universe

Batman: Ok wild cat I’m ready for train-
*gets catwoman flash backs*
*smiles*
"You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself get DEI-d..."
Batman Brave and the Bold🦇💙🎉
👍 Excellent 👍 yeah 👍 excellent 👍
Personally my favorite version of Wildcat is from JLU. As he feels he’s experiencing agism and not allowed to help. When it’s possible the league doesn’t want him to get killed as he doesn’t have any powers and he ain’t going to go toe to toe with someone that’d give Superman a hard time.
That’s why it’s bs because he’s as strong as Captain America despite having no powers
@@AndresHernandez-yk5im true but granted I dunno as much about Wildcat vs Captain America. But Steve Rogers (while from WW2 like Ted) he’s much younger and I’m assuming because of his powers he likely can take much harder hits and more then Ted.
But regardless given his age, the dangers of the job, and his lack of powers. I can understand people like Superman and J’ohn not wanting Ted to do the more dangerous job so he doesn’t get killed, but I can understand Ted’s frustrations especially given he won’t be physically able to do this forever.
It'd be really cool to see Ted's son Tom Bronson in an adaptation.
one more thing man he was on dc universe online dcuo and a boss only you join villain side
I was going to add his appearances in games but I end up leaving it out because I couldn't his appearance in the batman brave And the bold video game. So there was no point adding his other appearance in dcuo
@@NTGNickGreer ok

I realize now Wildcat wasn’t supposed to be a female
2:29 is the guy next to earth 3 wild cat is earth 3 scarecrow? For some reason should be a good guy
That's cat man wildcat exists in the main continuity of the Justice League Unlimited
Stan lee in teen titans lol
Daddy cat🥵
Its criminal wildcat isnt used more
?
Jlu is the best and teen titans go is always trash but the starg8rl one is right behind teen titans go in trash tier
You ruined the original Wildcat (Ted Grant) in stargirl, they stayed with Ted Grant not that girl wildcat
I ruined the original Wildcat? How? The female Wildcat exist in the comics before she was even added in the show. She just takes up the mantle of Wildcat he wasn't gender swapped
@@NTGNickGreer not you the tv series Stargirl I meant it was a typo
@@Thebeatles19632 oh I was about to say. Yeah she takes up the mantle of Wildcat like in the comics. The original Wildcat wasn't gender swapped or anything. The original does exist as a member of the justice society of America
They genderswapped wildcat too. Not suprising
The Female Wildcat actually exist in the comics since the 80s. The original Wildcat exist in Star Girl and Yolanda takes the mantle of Wildcat like she did in the comics
The Black Cat Boxer who gave the Nazis a thrashing
??????
@@NTGNickGreer one of his lesser known fan given nicknames after the silver age Wildcat (Ted Grant) fought against the Nazis in Europe alongside his JSA allies
Wait but if wildcat was a dude in the comics why didn’t they make him a dude in star girl??
Wildcat does exist in Star Girl it's just someone else taking up the mantle
@@NTGNickGreer oh or is it like a different universe type shit where he his a woman
@Rockoutdude the original wildcat exist in the Star Girl show. He was apart of Justice Society of America. It's just a young girl taking up the mantle and I believe she's from the Comics as well. I don't believe it's from a different alternate universe
@@NTGNickGreer ahhhhh I see
She just taking up the mantle in the comics there’s many who take up the mantle
