I would like to share my point of view the connection of Owlman & Batman Beyond. First Thomas Wayne Jr. (Owlman) is the Eldest Son of the Wayne Family & Terry Mcginnis is also the Eldest Son of his Family. Terry Mcginnis was raised by parents that were Psychologically Identical to Bruce's Parents. Does that mean that Terry Mcginnis represents as Thomas Wayne Jr. in Project Batman Beyond? Whereas, Matt McGinnis (Younger Brother) represents Bruce Wayne in the McGinnis Family?
Well... In my personal "multiverse*... I have Earth Prime plus 1 thru 12. (This is based on the old original DC+MARVEL "extra sized " crossover with Superman and Spiderman and company.... With some other inspirations thrown in....) I have "dark vigilantes" counterparts... not Bat variants. But Owl Man is one of them. He is a counterpart...not a variant.
Him and the Batman who laughs are the best evil reflections of Batman in different ways now sure we can say who’s better. But to be honest they’re great in different ways
The crisis on two earths owlman never had a backstory on being bruce wayne's brother Pretty sure that was only in a later comic version of the character
This is cool. Bruce having a brother. My son and I get these ideas where we have owl man and the court of owls going against batman and the league of assassins.
Owlman's plan to destroy the multiverse by destroying wouldn't have worked anyway, you can't destroy a forest by cutting down the first tree then go home, every choice and every action has a parallel existence, so where we see the worlds were he failed, there should be a world were he succeeded, but no, the multiverse is still going, still expanding, still changing, he was right, nothing he dose matters.
Which is funny because the Telltale Batman Bruce's Parents ARE Corrupt and unlike The Batman 2022 they aren't corrupt because they have no choice and want to protect Bruce but they are just Corrupt af Yet(depending of your choice) Batman still became Batman
funny enough Owl man was right in the larger context of crisis on infinite earths movie series. The "multiverse" was set in motion due to the actions of John Constantine. In the movie Justice League Dark Apokolips War at the ending where the earth was basically in ruin due to Dark Seid. John tells the flash that he knows what the flash must due-Clean the slate and start again. The flash ends up going to Apokolips to when Dark Seid was a baby to unalive him. The flash couldn't bring him self to do it however John already thought of this so he used a spell that basically brings death wherever he goes. What ends up happening is that Dark Seid was a fixed time in the universe, He had to exist. The universe ends up branching into two versions where one he did where he didn't and from there every significant event caused a split in the universe. Long story short the universe has antibody's and wanted to erase the reality's that were being created like a cancer because the universe would end up collapsing if not. Owl man in some context knew that reality and the multiverse kept growing like a cancer where nothing really mattered because on a different earth there was the opposite choice taken and such.
Every decision we've ever made, there is always a pair of cross roads. Most people live their whole lives unaware of these cross roads and make a series of decisions consistent with their moral code, religious beliefs, or philosophical understanding of the world. But have you ever wondered what would happen if you went the other direction? What if you were more ambitious, what if you were more greedy, what if you were a better liar? That's who Owlman is, he is Bruce if he decided at one point in his life to go the other direction.
I don't think it's about the consequence of the action so much as it is about Owlman's free will. What Owlman wants is control, not just over others, but of himself. He wants free will. Because every choice is the product of a choice made in another universe, Owlman thinks, no one is able to make choices of their own free will and so no one is able to control anything. On Earth Prime, however, this isn't the case. There, Owlman thinks he can make the only choice that can matter at all (because it is the only choice which can be made freely): To destroy the multiverse. Owlman wishes to choose to destroy choice and the lack of control it causes.
The abyss doesn’t have anything to do with his decision to end humanity, the same thing happened to a villain named Prometheus and not once did he consider ending all of existence owns is just crazier than fuck
There r diff versions of Owlman, some r good and some bad. He is from a Earth were morality is reversed. the 1st Talon from Earth-3 is the Earth-3 counterpart of Robin. In some he was the only type and not a group like Prime Earth Talons. I always like the Anti-matter version of Owlman. Like the Infinite Frontier version as well. Same as the Rebirth version, even though we don't know much, but he hated Batman who Laughs and 1 who discovered that the Owlman is the TRUE anti-Batman.
The batman who laughs should not be an amoral Bruce Wayne. That is more the Joker who became the bat. The batman who laughs aka a jokerized Batman would be a bruce wayne who still keeps his morals in check, but will simply break villians morale and psyche. He would not kill, since that "ends the joke" , if anything he would simply become a batman that pushes villians to a breaking point that they want to quit, just so they cannot hear that laugh anymore. That said.. Owlman is amazing!
Just imagine Owlman really existing in real life in today's world. And was able to have some sort of the device that he built to take us all out. That man is dangerous. Lol. Glad it's only fiction. And not fact.
Owlman is a great villain pre-52. The Batman Who Laughs is just plot armor filled, edge lord garbage who defeats everyone off panel.
No matter the universe, Owls hunt Bats.

With some other inspirations thrown in....)
I have "dark vigilantes" counterparts... not Bat variants. But Owl Man is one of them. He is a counterpart...not a variant.
Nihilist Batman would be a great movie antagonist, with or without the Crime Syndicate
Him and the Batman who laughs are the best evil reflections of Batman in different ways now sure we can say who’s better. But to be honest they’re great in different ways
The crisis on two earths owlman never had a backstory on being bruce wayne's brother
Pretty sure that was only in a later comic version of the character
What about owl man from watchmen. Are these the same one?
No. He is an amalgam of Blue Bettle and Batman.
Which is funny because the Telltale Batman Bruce's Parents ARE Corrupt and unlike The Batman 2022 they aren't corrupt because they have no choice and want to protect Bruce but they are just Corrupt af
Yet(depending of your choice) Batman still became Batman
I have a great idea! The Owlman Who Laughs!!! You're welcome, DC, you can send me a million dollars now. 🤣🤣🤣
Owlman > The Batman Who Laughs
Can you do a video on Injustice supergirl if she was on Earth without any interference do you think she could have saved her cousin
Owlman story against the court of bats what a great story… 5/20/24
funny enough Owl man was right in the larger context of crisis on infinite earths movie series.
All it takes, is one bad day!
Isn’t in the main universe owl man Bruce’s brother who was kidnapped by the court of owls and raised by them
Yeah but we don’t know if that’s really him however I believe it is because of owlman
Didn't an alternate version of Alfred Pennyworth and Thomas Wayne Jr. kill Martha, Thomas, and a young Bruce Wayne?
[Nevermind, I was a tad early.]
Awesome.. thanks for your video
As Owl man would say, "It doesn't matter".
Why did you disable the like count, if I may ask?
A mugger is not a desperate person to feel sympathy for.
Is tht the same owl dude from the other dc universe w dr Manhattan n rorschach?
not that is charleston character
Sorry for missing out on your Videos!
My favorite alternate version of Batman is Thomas Wayne.
this video is speaking my language
It would be cool if in the dark nights death metal owl is the one who helps Batman and joker to beat the Batman who laughs.
Nice video.
Thats a badass line.
It doesn’t matter
nothing matters.
Nothing matters
Another version of me didn't like that comment.
This is sort of what happens to batman in the telltale games, but obviously he doesnt turn out evil in the end
it would be awesome if Lincoln March Owlman appeared in the Reeves Batman movies
That would be so cool!
As a kid I thought Owlman is what Batman could of been if the Court of Owls got to Bruce.
Almost every point made could also be said about the batman that killed every villian in gotham and turned it into a military state.
Please make a cartoon or live show of this man
Well, technically, he’s not even a Batman at all since he’s technically Bruce Wayne’s brother from a different dimension
The thumnail get the eye ratio right lol 😆 😂
Owlman's desighn is so mukch worse than Batman's. Being a child and seeing this move it was the thing that bugged imediatly.
The abyss doesn’t have anything to do with his decision to end humanity, the same thing happened to a villain named Prometheus and not once did he consider ending all of existence owns is just crazier than fuck
Batman red death is my favorite evil version.
Did you jack BatSpecter?
I think this video came out first
There r diff versions of Owlman, some r good and some bad.
Owlman was literally nihilism personafied but Batman showed him what time it was wit that hard @$$ line 🔥🔥🔥
I get what you’re saying but there’s one shouldn’t give a double murderer the benefit of the doubt.
*but one shouldn’t
THIS is why batman DOES NOT KILL or CROSS THE LINE......Well except this time🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
