Don't starve is a classic 10/10 game. Even for who people aren't a fan of survival games, i highly recommend this one. Its pretty good

I stunlock normal spiders with a spear. Warrior spiders might get a bite or two though.

I'm so sad that you didn't mention the "inspect" function in the game, which let's you inspect anything in the game as every character and that's how you get to know their personalities.

Yeah, most ‘survival’ games are not difficult to survive in! Terraria is all about combat and some exploration, and Minecraft is so easy to survive in it just don’t count.

Well, my favorite character is Maxwell, since he's immune to going insane, and he can summon shadow minions to do tasks like mining, cutting down trees and even defending you.

- Tallbirds have tunnel vision and only attack one target at a time
- Tamed Beefalos will react to emotes alogn with you
- Molebats and Batilistiks help each other while fighting
Or the fact that woddies wereforms make werepigs passive
Finely, the game that you tell your friends to get they get it and they never play it again cause of how hard it is

It has been two years since I gifted my friend dst on steam. I'm still mad that he played once, joined a server that was getting ready to kill bee queen and though he was so great for killing a raid boss.
I love how Foekoe actually got me interested into Don't Starve.

I honestly think my favorire part of the game is the style.
The combination of 1920's cartoon base with victorian styling is something truly unique: it adds a lot of darkness with the victorian style but also contradicts itself at the same time with the cheery 1920's cartoon style, for great effect.
The music is classical sounding, but a lot more energetic and speedy than usual classic music, again, linking back to the 20's idea.
Don't Starve creates a truly unique and difficult to describe feel artistically that is absolutely fantastic.
Spring cleaning the best song.
I like how you go through this review recomending this game without telling people about Charlie so they can find out both why you need sticks and grass + why you need to don't starve...

Don’t starve together had been my favourite game ever sense 2017 and I adore everything this game has to offer. The shorts are amazing and sometimes heart breaking (Wendy short) and the community over all is really nice! This game is something that I don’t think will ever die until the developers stop updating it!

Webber is really good in DST. Everyone likes having a webber on their team. Add in a Wickerbottom, a damage dealer like Wolfgang or Wigfred, Wendy or Walter as base support, and a WX-78 if you intend to go on raids later.

WX-78 literally gives nothing to the team. So unless the WX player is good and can rush runes than there is really no point in having one on your team.

I love this game.
The art style is great, the music is great, the sound design is great, and most importantly, the gameplay is great and doesn't piss me off.
I'll admit, I haven't REALLY got into this game (the longest time I've survived is 15 days,) but for what I've played, I know I'll get there. The game really feels like true survival. There are basics that are self-explanatory (eat so you don't die, you need light so you can see by night, etc.) but there are also complete curveballs thrown in. Living trees, strange hands that destroy your fires, mouths in the ground that teleport you somewhere far away in your world, the list goes on. And the best part, whenever you die it feels reasonable, or incredibly amusing.
For example, my latest run. I had gotten pretty far, I had a camp set up, I had the science machine up and running, and I just started a farm. That's when I noticed a recipe for what appeared to be makeshift bandages. I had every ingredient for them except for ash. So, I found a tree nearby that was relatively distant from the rest of the forest and set it alight. What I didn't realize was that there was a sapling huddled up next to the tree that made a bridge between it, and my base. So, my base immediately burst into flames, and I ran. However, the forest was quite large and was cut off from the edge of my world by the water. And the only way out was through an area covered in spider's nests. It was also sunrise, so the spiders were on the prowl. I bet you could guess what happened next.

Been playing this game for about a year now and it’s quickly become one of my favorites. All four games (Don’t Starve Together, Reign of Giants, Hamlet, and Shipwrecked) bring something completely new and fresh. Probably one of the most replayable games ever. Other than Minecraft, it’s the only survival game I need
If the characters don't matter, I dare you to play as Wes for an entire game without dying once
