Again great footage and I so appreciate you keeping yourselves safe and thank you for not feeling like you have to talk every minute. Hearing the roar of the wind and the sound of the pelting rain is pure professionalism. Prayers for Florida and you and your team.
I lived in Naples, Florida for 20 years, and lived through at least 10 hurricanes. But the most devastating hurricane was "Irma". That was the last drop in the glass, when I nearly got nervous breakdown, and almost lost everything I had. This is heart breaking, I feel sorry for those still live there. During Irma, I was on my knees, bagging for mercy! And I promised to myself "if I live through this, I'll leave for ever, and never go back to Florida"! Glad I did! Those who suffer now, stay strong and use common sense. This will happen every year. My prayer goes out to all, love from Hungary.
They are storm chasers you moron. It's their job to do this. Just the same as people that chase tornados . They do it to help record and further understand the power of these storms .
I used to live in that same area 15 years ago. Hurricanes are awesome to experience. If you're going be driving in that deep of water, you should install a snorkel on your vehicle. It's pretty easy and only takes a few minutes. That way, you don't run the risk of drowning your engine.
Thanks, you're sure brave to drive through this, but you're also taking your own lives in your own hands! Keep safe, and "May The Force Be With You"! 🙏🙏
I've lived in Punta Gorda my whole entire life and I've never experienced horror like I did with Hurricane Ian. I thought Hurricane Charley was a monster but this was something else. It's been over two weeks now and our lives are still turned upsidedown. Thank you for filming this. I couldn't see anything during the storm just a complete whiteout. I could hear what sounded like jet airplanes flying over the house and I could see explosions everywhere but I could never get a good look at what was happening until the next morning when the sun came up😭. Our precious little town was blown away and drown by that storm. None of us expected anything like this to happen even with the warnings. Living here, we deal with dodging hurricanes every year so people tend to ignore what the emergency management says. All I know is, I will not stick around for the next one. I stayed to help protect my home and it's a good thing I did bc my sliding glass door blew in and we had to move all the furniture up against it to try to stop the wind and water from coming in. We have nothing left as far as furniture and appliances are concerned. We have our home still with minimal damage, so even though we're hanging out in the living room sitting in lawn chairs, I feel blessed. Thanks again for what you do.
I just now saw this footage. I am in Port Charlotte, and have seen a lot of good footage, but this is incredible. Good work, and thank you for uploading this!
I mean we don't really need to be updated to know that there is a big-ass hurricane there. Get the fuck out of town and stay safe so emergencies services doesn't have to waste resources saving these people's lives. There should be a law that people who choose not evacuate are not allowed to ask for help if needs be. Potentially dragging other people into this is selfish.
Right but what happens if they get into trouble and need help. Now you're taking away emergency workers from other areas to help people who purposely drove into a major hurricane. Trust me I like watching this stuff too but sometimes you gotta think about the big picture.
@@scotty6124 FYI, I actually don’t like watching this but I have family their and I’m far away so I’m seeing things from a different angle, also, I’ve been watching local news networks taking similar risks as well as certain MSM actually paying these people for clips of their footage! Yes, stay inside. Downed power lines or traffic lights etc can be live and you can risk electrocution. Gov. DeSantis said to stay indoors even after it's over until everything has been cleared. God Bless Florida. 🙏
Same here, my dad left his house on the water in punta gorda, went to stay with my uncle more inland in punta gorda, was not part of the evacuation zone…they lost power and I haven’t heard from them since 6pm…assuming they’re fine but cell service is down? Praying for your family and mine! 🙏
Sounds like at the end, he got a text message or something. That just shows how resilient some of that infrastructure is. The underground fiber optic lines are still good, and the cell towers' (or on a building) backup generators are running.
@@catsj1767 Last year when I got Starlink, heavy downpours would cause problems. But I haven't experienced that in at least 6 months. But I haven't had much rain this summer either. I would also expect the closest downlink station to be in Florida, also covered by heavy rain, causing problems.
Wow stay safe out there don't risk your lives for some storm footage. Weren't they also filming up in Canada when that hurricane/strong storm hit? if so these guys sure get around.
Never drive into floods. Law enforcement and rescue groups are starting to charge people who drive into areas that are dangerous when they know they're not supposed to. They wouldn't be able to save you now anyway at this time. Stay safe.
I don't disagree with this, however there's been reports that these are people who are trained storm chasers and or the law and emergency personnel that stayed to try to help.... Alot of the officers and EMTs didn't leave... Prayers for them all! TURN AROUND DON'T DROWN!!!!
I was watching live yesterday. Amazing to see the same streets you were driving down before things got bad that are now in a terrible state. It doesn't look like there was too much damage to property, but lots of clearing up to do, lots of power line repairs that can't be done until the trees are safe.

Have we crossed the point of no return in terms of damaging the planet? There is no such point. We need to trust that our thought, which is our greatest quality, can change nature. We only need to understand the direction to which we should aim our thoughts. What should we think about? What condition or state should we aspire to and ask for? In order to save our planet, we should think about positive human connections. That is, how can we, in our connections, keep nature safe? How can we all together protect our world? If we truly wish to better our planet, then we should see people holding a concern for how to positively connect everywhere that we look. It has nothing to do with recycling or other activities that we commonly associate with as being sustainable. If we come closer to and consider each other, that we will reach an entirely organic, perfectly connected and round state, then the negative forces will disappear from the world. We need to understand that if we start thinking better about each other, then the planet will recover from all harm, because our thoughts are the strongest force in nature. Likewise, our negative thoughts about each other are entirely to blame for damaging the planet. That is why the more we recycle and invest in energies and activities that we commonly think of as being sustainable, the worse our planet becomes. Nothing will work to benefit us until we reach a state where our attitude changes toward each other for the better to protect and improve our planet.
Please be careful!!! It's not worth driving around!!! Why on God's green earth are you out DRIVING????????????? GO SOMEWHERE SAFE, PLEASE!!!!!🥺🥺🥺🥺.....🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️....
