you guys have the balls the main media doesnt, this is real involvement here thanks
So very sad when many people are struggling. So many set backs. Praying for safety for everyone.
May God bless you all. 🙏
Agree terrible to lose your home and belongings just a few months before Christmas. Never forget your blessings.
@PaRappa - drinking a lot this evening, are we?!
hurricane fact: they will never call another storm Ian , after this. No..
@PaRappa - CAT 4 hurricanes are nothing to joke about. There are likely a number of people who lost their lives today, not to mention billions of dollars in property damage.
@@doneown503 - correct. This one will go down in the record books.
Sending love from AUSTRALIA xx
do u get storms similar , or just dust devils? greetings from desert!
Thank you for the footage....my heart and prayers are with everyone

I have just been through a Hurricane Fiona here in the Caribbean my friends and the only way to survive is Love,Faith, and many PRAYERS ,In Jesus Name,Amen !
Amen!
I just went through hurricane Fiona as well last weekend in the Dominican Republic. By the ocean it was the scariest and the darkness made it worse. Pray for safety for all from Canada 🙏🇨🇦
Great team coverage as always under extreme conditions! Stay safe, can always count on LSM... Thanks Brett and all for taking us along...
This is your boomerang! For igniting the war in Ukraine and bombing the Donbass. Everything is fair.
God protect the people of Florida! from this storm. (From New Zealand!)
How are you paul?
The best coverage yet. No yakyakyak, just great short clips.
May God bless the people of Florida peacefully through this storm rain

Hi Rosee, my heart is with you!
I'm praying for you: Lord, give them safety! Grant them a supernatural peace in the storm! Christ have mercy.
Many prayers!!! Please keep us posted how you're doing
Thank you so much to All! It is very scary and my birthday is in few minutes the 29th. I am also type 1 diabetic with grand Mal seizures. I'm doing my best to keep my blood sugar levels under control.
🙏🙏🙏
That last shot of the RV park shows how practical it is to get an RV. You can pack up and drive away days before the storm and if the area isn't damaged, drive back again. Makes me reconsider my original plan of buying a home in FL.
Hi Laurel
But this doesn't happen to every coastal town every year.....anywhere ya live will you have crappy weather....the pros outweigh the cons when living on or near the beach....Floridians know the risk ..and they'll rebuild n continue to live in paradise 😎
We’re in Tampa bay edge of Polk county I can say we’ve been getting hammered for hours the wind is frightening no power over four hours now just riding it out 😢
Praying 🙏
I have family in St. Pete and my uncle said the whole fam is staying put unless it’s a category 5. Dear lord 🤦🏻
What we see in these short clips lasted for hours and hours. Insane.
The last of it with the power lines. Crazy. Great video. Thanks. Stay safe out there everyone!
I lived there in 2004 for Charley in deep creek .that was some scary shitt..prayers from NYC to FL .everyone stay safe..
Thank you you to🙏🇺🇸🌏🌀🙃✌️

I'm in Kissimmee near Orlando the huracane it's like a tornado pounding it's scary!
Wow I wish the best. Hope everyone makes it okay after this hurricane. Everyone in my prayers sending some love and care from California.
Praying for all in FL. In the midst of it all, our flag is still standing 🇺🇸
Our flag isn't supposed to be flying during a storm like this; it's supposed to have been taken down.
@@hebneh Some business will be forgiven. There wasn't a lot of prep time. I'm sure the flag will understand, given the circumstances.

MAGA had it's butt kicked
Much love and prayers coming from Barbados. We have had tons of rain, thunder, lightning. But nothing like this. Prayer for your safety, your families, friends, children, . I ask God to give each and everyone of you that peace and safety. Look out for each other. Peace and love ❤
My prayers for Florida and others affected 🙏❤ from Mexico 🇲🇽
Thanks
Am thinking of all of you in south & ctrl Florida tonight...I'm in the northeast. Am hoping it doesn't get that bad when Ian passes through.
Thanks so much !
As always, you are on top of the scenarios.
Although many scenarios may be unpleasant, we see the truth.
Please correct title. Should be "Charlotte and Lee County ....", because shots showing surge flooding also shows a highway sign on "Lee County Highway 78".
Thanks for sharing your videos.
praying for all of you 🙏
I love storms. Hot cocoa and board games and Turner Classics. So much fun! All warm and cozy inside with the pitter patter sound of the rain on the roof.
Best footage on the internet, capturing the conditions and damage. Good job. Hope you get something for it.
This is worse than Wilma in 05. I hope everyone that stayed put makes it out okay. When I saw the predictions last week that it would be ~950mb my jaw dropped. This thing formed into a beautifully organized monster so quickly. Best of luck from the East coast of the state.
What about Katrina and Andrew
My daughter lives in North port and stayed. I don't think she'll do it again.
@@mchiang74 I’m just giving my opinion as a Floridian. Katrina only hit us, right by my house, as a weak cat 1.
Andrew, while powerful, wasn’t as large. And most of the destruction came from South Miami-Dade, since the county had just weakened building codes to allow stick frame homes again. So while Andrew was an incredibly destructive hurricane in its own right, most of it’s specific destruction isn’t seen much anymore since everything in this area is built with CMUs again.
I remember watching the aftermath of Katrina in New Orleans though, talking with my mom about it as a 14 year old kid, and just breaking down crying. Also a highly destructive storm, and I think a lot of the blame for the “worse than it should’ve been” title goes to the government’s handling of it, before during and after.
Really, it’s hard to say “[x] is worse than [x]” when it comes to weather. There are too many variables involved.
@@zhenren9703 Looks like North Port got the brunt of the destruction. Have you checked in with her? I hope she’s alright.
We all joke about how we could survive a 200mph hurricane as Floridians, that we can party through it, but Ian isn’t a joke.
@@zhenren9703 que Dios todopoderoso los proteja.
Yall are so brave !!! I thank you
You guys are great. Thank you.
Great coverage down there. Please be careful and stay safe out there
I sure hope no animals had to suffer
Nah they just drowned they good
It's tragic but the truth is, whenever people evacuate an area quickly there are inevitably a few pets lost on the way. For those of us who batten down & stay put, sometimes a dog or cat will bolt out the front door before you can stop it...it is heartbreaking. But such is life.
Some will die, but good news is animals can feel this stuff before it happens and will typically make a break for high ground, or a safe spot. So as some may die. A lot I’m sure will survive.
Same thing I said 😢😢😢
🙄
Praying for everyone but also for my two young grandchildren in Englewood! Please God, keep them and everyone safe. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
ya'll were awesome yesterday !!! I'm sure saved many lives with your broadcasts ... and Ryan hall ya'll coverage!! ya'll rock!!

Hello Debbie
Prayers from the Philippines
Omg the RV park in the end… I called home for 6 months last year… devastated 😢😢😢😢
Great footage. We watch yours instead of the news!
Wondering if Gershwin lane was wiped out I have family on that block
From what I’ve heard Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda have held up much better than they did for Hurricane Charley back in 2004, which almost completely destroyed those two towns. That’s exactly what I would hope for considering the much stricter building standards put in place after Charley. Unfortunately, I don’t care how strong you rebuild a town. When you have 150mph winds you’re still going to see damage. However, based upon what I’ve seen the damage after Ian isn’t anywhere close to being as catastrophic as Charley was. I think other towns that rebuild after Ian like Ft. Myers Beach need to put in the building standards that Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda now have.
Their was still significant damage there tho even with the new codes.
I wonder if the drone shots were taken during the eye?
Great coverage.
So appreciative your professionalism. Please stay safe.
Amazing Content Captured, Great work, how you came out safe and sound.
Sending Prayers! God Bless you all. God Bless the Linemen that will restore power. Pull together people. Help your neighbors. We are all praying for each and every one of you. In Jesus name. ❤💞🙏🙏🙏

Where is this in Charlotte county. We have family in Port Charlotte and haven't heard from them in awhile. None of the news said anything about port Charlotte.

Does anyone know the current condition of Port Charlotte? My mother in law lives on Heights Terrace. We're trying to find out if her house is under water or not.

Oh my God! I can't sleep the windows are pounding! I hope the windows don't start popping!
I was in Camile,Fredrick, Katrina, never seen anything like this 🙏

I am surprised all the trees are still standing and the power poles aren't snapped in half , I went through hurricane Michael and there was nothing left standing most trees were gone and all the cell towers and power poles were taken out and houses flat on the ground
I think different kind of trees and stronger building codes.
Does anyone know the status of Blue Heron pines in punta gorda? My grandparents didn’t leave and I can’t get ahold of them.
I'm afraid they won't have power for awhile, up to two weeks. Any chance you can get someone to check on them?
@@Lori1976 been trying but no luck. Very frustrating just have to wait it out to hear.

Florida palms are so strong
They have millions of years of practice.
wtf , not for broadcast then broad cast. so sad , but we have had here in australia too. fires , pandemic , then non stop rain. some ppl on their 6th flood in 12 months . they forecast another year of rain, here. its so hard to imagine after so much rain. in australia we call this a cyclone , ive been in one , not for the faint hearted, horrific. we had hailstones here as big as a rock melon , smashed cars ,trees , roofs, concrete and people. super cells that shredded houses , trees , boats . nature in its full fury. stay safe mate!
There is some predictions I heard it a long time ago in the TV not sure which Islands were they about stormy weathers
