If you want it to work, you have to learn to think more simply and explain yourself clearly. That’s the biggest thing between my wife and me, the communication barrier is tough to overcome. Use your feelings to help her understand your logic. If that makes sense. Also try to dismiss the intrusive thoughts that make you want to pick at her mind. Esfj women are awesome though.

I am an INFJ and my husband is an ESFJ. It was not an easy sailing, and we are totally 2 different personalities. But being married for 18 years with all turbulences, we accept each other, even it is not perfect, but we compromise. I must have all rational explanations for all action I do, or he will misunderstand me. It is tiring, but I get through it. He is so hungry of recognition and compliment, that I cannot follow. The key is just compromise, and commitment, and see our commonalities, not differences.

I’m with an esfj and I’m an infj. We hit it off right away but I cannot lie there are tons of miscommunication and when I try to talk it out it just turns into an argument. In fact I find that so much turns into an argument. It can get a little ridiculous. Other than that we are great and it’s the only relationship I’ve had that I’m not the one taking care of everything. I finally feel like I have a real partner in life who I can trust and laugh with. How can we get over our petty bickering? It’s like he’s always looking for a fight even though I know it’s miscommunication. The sex is great and he makes me feel like a woman, but he doesn’t seem to grasp my non-combative and uncompetitive nature. We’ll learn how to communicate on a verbal level we can communicate non verbally just fine.

Been with my ESFJ for almost 9 years and I relate so much as a fellow INFJ. They can get mean when their best efforts (which they’re always giving but as INFJ it’s sometimes a bit different than we need) feels unappreciated. They also really sensitive and can be insecure because their self worth is usually directly related to what their loved ones feel about them. Biggest tip is, take a step back, give each other like an hour to cool down, and when you come back, let them know above all that you love and appreciate them. ❤️

Im infj and my mom is also esfj. This was creepily so similar to our relationship 😂. If I don't express myself when I'm with my mom she pushes her fe to create the emotional atmosphere that she wants and yes.. it is so draining. For a long time I struggled with this but through trial and error I realized I also had to push my fe in order to not get drained. For awhile, I would be so drained after spending time with her that I didnt want to be around her anymore but overtime I realized I had to push my energy and my boundaries to feel like I was benefiting from the relationship. I felt like my mom didnt know who I truly was because I was staying in my introverted mode with her but I realize now it's up to me for her to know the real me. Very similar situation and it feels good that I'm not the only one who felt like this!

They wanted to force me to be like them, and it always shocked them that I was so different. I was so glad I had left home when I was 19, I was overwhelmed also by my own idea that they were a pair of hypocrites who only cared about materialism and social status. (Now that I'm 30, I understand them better, I love them and our relationship is healthy.)

I am an infj and my mom was an esfj as well and I took care of her as well. I think the combo is great thou. Infj and esfj both put the needs of others first and care for others. To take care of the caregiver is so needed. And knowing what she feels is great cause you don't have to read her that much or walk on egg shells (like with the estj). But when the infj is too strict on themselves or worries too much about others....she would tell me to be more in the moment. Our relationship was pacts with the love languages.
As an infj I tend to have my guard up in the outside world. But with my mom I can focus on my Fe and be more in the moment.

It’s so funny cause my mom is an ESFJ. And it’s emotionally draining to be around her. She always seems sad or melancholy. Now I I have more insight about this. Growing up when my mom had time off from work every day the house was clean and we had a hot meal to eat when we got home from school. I loved that feeling! Felt so homey and nurturing! It depends which variety of infj
Only the more gentle INFJ would be suitable.
All infj are melancholy dominant and sanguine secondarily
Since we all have all four base temperaments as outlined by Hippocrates, all infj will also have phlegmatic and choleric as tertiary and least.
If the infj has the gentle phlegmatic in third (tertiary) dominant then this may be compatible to ESFJ
All ESFJ are choleric dominant ( physically tough and must lead in the relationship)
The phlegmatic is very non physical and meek therefore admires the choleric who will carry them through life as phlegmatic are prone to sloth, fear and indecision) The choleric is quite the opposite of this and admire the phlegmatic who are most likely to be content to sit back and let the Choleric run the show. No one has more influence over a choleric dominant than a phlegmatic (ah the silent control of the phlegmatic)
Now, if the INFJ has choleric in tertiary position and phlegmatic fourth, this infj is much more confident and independent than the meeker INFJ. This tougher INFJ is sure to butt heads with the near total total control required of the choleric dominant ESFJ
In politics ,it is the meek phlegmatic who because they want to be carried through life and free from decision and the responsibilities there making, the phlegmatic the most vulnerable or complicit towards adopting leftist communism.
