Spider-Man: No Way Home set up an exciting future for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His support network is completely gone, and he’s back to wearing plain old tights. But with the Venom symbiote entering the franchise, we know that it’s only a matter of time before Tom Holland gets a little help from some alien goo.
But we don’t think that Venom should be the next villain in the franchise-we would rather see Peter Parker spend a movie with the black suit, laying the foundation for its heel turn and bonding with another host-maybe Mac Gargan’s Scorpion.
In the meantime, Peter will face a ghost from the past…Hobgoblin. In this video, we lay out our proposal for Spider-Man 4 (Homeless?), and how it can tie into the Sony-Verse and the MCU.

I think it would be pretty cool if the Hob Goblin reused Osborns Goblin Suit that he left in No Way Home. This would also bring out Peters dark side even more because he would literally see the goblin in every fight which would make a darksuit even more fitting.
True, also, Hobgoblin could also be Ned, basically Ned founds out that peter erased his and MJ's memories and then sees that as a betrayal. He then uses Osborn's suit, modify it and becomes Hobgoblin. This wouldn't happen til the 5th film though, with Ned spending the next film slowly remembering what peter did. All this would create that personal villain for Peter, since it would be his once best friend.

@@lucaklipa8495 Yeah, that's the hard part, but Kingsley could be controlling him or a piece of the symbiote got to him, feeding off his sense of betrayal at the hands of his best friend. Remember the symbiote amplifies every emotion, a little anger and sense of betrayal would become amplified enough to make him almost crazy.

I could see that peter gets the black suit and venom learns about ned through peter and after peter leaves it its going to search for ned and maybe give him the information that everyone got brainwashed, and then only Ned would know it and every emotion that he has in this second which will be alot is then getting used by venom to feed his anger
Only issue is that green goblin didn't leave his suit behind in, he was wearing the tactical suit underneath the hobo clothes hence the retractable blades on his wrist.
While I do feel like the Symbiote stuff will be done well, I’m also worried that it’ll devalue the role model that Andrew’s Spider-Man was to him. He literally told him that after the death of his loved one, he got rage full and bitter. If the symbiote causes Tom to go down that same path, there’ll need to be a scene of him reflecting and remembering what Andrew said to him and using his words to quell the symbiote’s influence, or else Andrew’s advice will have been pretty much thrown away.

I was actually thinking the other day about how Ned doesn't have any friends now. An emotional storyline could be that Ned falls in with the wrong crowd and it leads him into becoming hobgoblin. And Peter has to deal with the ramifications of his choice of staying away from him and now has has to fight his best friend who doesn't remember him.

They have an amazing opportunity to name this movie. Peter finding his place in the world, fixing his reputation and fighting for the little guy that lost faith. All while showing of his movie references.

If they were to make Kingsley a mob boss & Peter’s nemesis, then he could have a certain someone as an employee to help make his gear & the other villains - The Tinkerer. He never got arrested in Homecoming. Can also have alongside him as fellow coworker the Jackal, Connors, Smythe, or Doc Ock to help create villains that have genetic mutations
Ya MCU Tinkerer was great too. They need to use that character again

@@miraclecomics Of course Scorpion would great. So would the Beetle & Prowler. If they all come in to work for Kingsley, he’ll need someone to create them & their tech. That’s what I meant by have Tinkerer come back in. Same thing for the characters like Jackal or Smythe who deal with genetics ; don’t have them as main baddies but have them work for Kingsley to create villains with genetic mutations like Hydroman or Electro

i doubt they'll do Lizard or Doc Ock again. Not only because they're probably doing more amazing spiderman films but also because Tom now has the foreknowledge of how to cure them. I can see them bringing in another version of Osborn to tie into the venom arc (giving Peter someone to direct his anger towards)
*Another really interesting option for Agent Venom: The Punisher. He's a badass anti-hero, and with the Netflix characters starting to reappear in the MCU, it's entirely possible now. No idea if it happens in the comics, but it's a fun possibility.*

That's a good idea but I'd rather give MCU Frank his version of the War Machine armor from the comics.
Yeah I agree with he person above...while Frank Castle having becoming Agent Venom would be pretty cool, I can only see it going to Flash. They set him up perfectly to get the symbiote, his characterization is very similar to that of the Flash Thompson in the Ultimate cartoon, which is a near perfect version of AV (other than the veteran part)

I think hobgoblin should be Ned Leeds cause it would make peter’s villains very interesting, maybe like Ned finds out that Peter never retold Ned and he would get jealous. He already wasn’t bit by the spider he mentions in Homecoming he wished would have bit him, so he was Peter’s “guy in the chair”, the next best thing. But now he has none of it and Peter doesn’t want Ned to be his “guy in the chair” cause it’s too dangerous. So Ned wants to be something worth it in his own eyes so he turns into the hobgoblin, hoping to make a name for himself and hear from Peter that he is a great…

Although I would be really tempted to see Hobgoblin in the MCU (perhaps as Ned Lee since they really loved teasing the idea) I do think introducing the Norman Osborn of the MCU could be really interesting (and instead of being played by William Dafoe this would be someone new but still the same Norman in his heart, maybe someone like Jason Isaacs). It would really introduce the idea of whether Peter can ever be free of Norman and whether we will see Green Goblin in the MCU and affect Peter on a psychological level, thus leading to Peter's darker inhibitions to lead to him getting the black suit. If they do introduce the Norman Osborn of the MCU then I would hope that they don't show him as Green Goblin and present how cunning, devious and intelligent Norman is and how he isn't defined by his identity as Green Goblin and can be just as sinister as Norman Osborn (similar to how incredibly intelligent and regal Lex Luthor is for DC), thus Norman could be working with Kingpin to create more crime and create more villains for Peter to fight (very similar to Tombstone's plot in Spectacular Spiderman).
The biggest problem with using Norman at all is they established Oscorp as not existing in the MCU. So they would need to establish Oscorp as a thing first.
@@BlackHedgehog Oh yeah that's a good point, but then again I can also see the MCU retconing the fact that a Norman Osborn does exist in the MCU as they did slightly retcon Baron Zemo's family history for Falcon and The Winter Soldier andd for other plot threads. No to mention who's to say what the universal implications of the 'forget-me' spell are exactly? I can see Oscorp perhaps acting as the new up and coming weapons manufacturer in the vain of Stark Industries for the MCU. But then again we will have to wait and see whether Norman will be in the MCU and if not I would then it would feel super refreshing to see characters like Hobgoblin, Kraven, Scorpion or Black Cat all make their eventual debut. I do still think Jason Isaacs would be a great choice for Norman Osborn in the MCU. However if they are going to tell the black suit saga then I wonder how they will introduce the Eddie Brock of the MCU and whether we will even see an MCU Eddie Brock become Venom, not mention if he will have some deep connection to Peter since everyone no longer knows who he is?
I like to think the rich science tech guy as stark so i don't think there will be an mcu osborn. They didn't make harry peter's friend or introduce any other k8nd of osborn stuff, like osborn tech. I think stark is the osborn of the mcu, I'd like to see the few villians mentioned that weren't used, like shocker, prowler, venom, scorpion, hobgoblin, and vulture. They could be the mcu's sinister 6

Hobgoblin is the perfect compromise between getting a new actor to watch play Green Goblin and keeping Willem as the one main Green Goblin
I like how you kept showing Esposito Giancarlo when you were talking about Kingsley, he's such a great example and one of the most fitting actors when it comes to antagonists.
Maes death made him uncurruptable in my eyes and the Spider-Men showed him the way to being a true Spider-Man. I don’t think the next set of movies will lean on the darker tone until he gets the symbiote.

Fair point but I think Fisk could still handle multiple heroes and rivalries and still work (maybe). Also, Spidey and Daredevil please. If Kingpin is a no and Kingsley is a go, bring in Tombstone and Hammerhead as well, as his homies. I'm curious to see their designs in live action.
Agreed. Peter needs to deal with the afterman of people thinking he killed mysterio, may dieing and also more street level crimes again with one cunning/smart human boss to defeat

In the future movies I hope to see not before seen actions scenes with villains such as Kraven, Scorpio and so on instead of Venom, Sandman, Green Goblin etc. We need something brand new. Not even revisions of seen ones.
The second caveat using Kraven is that he's being used in Sony's Spider-Man 2 on the Playstation 5. And considering Venom is confirmed in that game, too, I'm guessing they're already doing an adaptation of Kraven's Last Hunt. Doing it all in a movie as well, at probably roughly the same year as the game's released, seems a bit redundant.

Didn't they do the same thing after Sam Raimi's SM2 with the PS2 videogame? It was released after the movie and while it had a few other villains the main one and the final fight scene is against Doc Ock.

I love this! It's so cool to see how many options the comics offer the films, as far as what directions they might take in the future.
It's probably unlikely that it'll happen, but I'm personally hoping for Flash to continue being a part of the next trilogy. We still don't know what his parents do, other than being too rich and busy to pick him up from his international school trips. I want to find out that his parents are in with the Kingpin (or are trying to make a move in the power vacuum). Maybe they hire the Scorpion, help give a massive social/financial boost to Kraven's public image, create the Hobgoblin, etc, whatever, no idea, BUT whatever they do, it'll give us a chance to see Flash as a more fleshed out character, torn between living up to the pressure of his family and his own personal ideals.
And, heck, even without his family's mysterious status, we know that the comics had Flash as a host, so maybe that'll be the ending to the black-suit Spider-Man story, with Peter willingly passing the Symbiote to Flash -- saving him from a mortal wound, or creating an ally to take down the big bad, or to help him break free of his family's criminal doings.

A while ago on another video I posted a comment stating I think Mac Gargan will become Venom within the MCU due to how Gargan in the comic books become Venom after Eddie Brock was temporarily separated from the symbiote. Then I conversed with another person who believes Ned will become Venom in the MCU due to what Ned said to Peter in the laboratory in No Way Home about not becoming a super villain and attempting to murder Peter (Tom Holland’s Peter Parker). I would like to add to that theory; Ned Leeds becomes Venom in the MCU after the symbiote temporarily bonds and is separated from Peter, then the alien costume bonds with Ned to become Venom, and then spawns another symbiote that will bond with Mac Gargan to become Carnage in the MCU which could lead to a Maximum Carnage based live action Spider-Man film. With this being said, a question must be raised; did Dr. Stranger’s spell at the end of No Way Home affect the symbiote left by Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock/ Venom in a the MCU and the symbiote hive mind? We need clarification on this asap by Marvel and Sony. 💯✌🏿🤙🏿

So excited to see the future of spiderman in the MCU, and yeah seeing him in spiderman 4 which is just insane can't wait to see the venom symbiote latched onto his suit for what's in store.

Ik everybody wants the 4th tobey 3rd Andrew but if anything it’d only really make sense to just continue the holland series with them joining to help & not go back and potentially fuck up any of the legacies that those series were ya know haha no way home did a perfect job of bringing them back and still keeping the legacies they were but to bring them back to present time than go back to when they left off in their movies as they are also featuring in present mcu movies and have all these holland movies out with them featuring so honestly making their films again just sounds so confusing for everything. honestly it’ll probably be Tom hollands vs venom but tobey and Andrew could probably show up to help and I think we need to accept by this timeline and how many years sense the originals they should only be like older wiser Spider-Man’s for this generations Spider-Man (holland) don’t hate on me I’m not saying they won’t obviously Sony&disney will do what they want and it’s not like they care what I say but with all that said I think it’s safe to say they’ll keep the past spideys as like multiverse wiser Ben Riley’s for this present one !

If they take any inspiration from the larger Spidey canon I really do hope they take some queues from Spectacular Spider-Man.
Especially in developing the Peter/Spidey vs Brock/Venom story. Give us a couple of movies of Peter and Brock with a genuine friendship that's being strained under the weight of Peter being Spider-Man.
I can see them using the Black Suit as a "crutch" of sorts. Lacking the technological advancements of the Iron Spider suit Peter thinks he needs an advantage to deal with the current villain(s) and starts using it to his advantage. Let him use it for the bulk of an entire movie before we even get hints of how it's corrupting him (probably in a post credit stinger where it's using Peter's sleeping form to go out and brutalize thugs) and over time he rejects the suit because of what it's doing to him and it gravitates towards Brock to bond over their mutual feelings of betrayal.
I do like the idea of Spidey dealing with "Street Level" criminals but I think you still need good over the top Dick Tracy style gangsters to make a good Spider-Man vs the Mob story so yeah whip out Tombstone, Hammerhead, and the Enforcers. Have them contract with the remnants of Vulture and Mysterio crews to whip up some tech-villains.
That 90’s cartoon is still in my top 3 favorite animated shows I’ve ever watched. Everyone was in it at some point, the theme was catchy, they explained the multiverse with Madame Web, and he wore the black suit and saw what it did to him

Yes, Black cat would definitely take the film Spiderman into nw mature territory. The part that everyone assumes Spiderman is someone that has it together and thinks he is much older then he actually is due to the responsibility he places on himself puts him into a lot of socially challenging situations.
How have we not had Black Cat yet? She's by far the most compelling of Peter's love interests imo.

If a version of Tom Hardy is in the MCU I'm pretty sure the part of venom that stayed behind will recognize Eddie since is a piece of the venom from that universe making a part of that venom's mind remember his version of Eddie Brock
That sounds like an entire trilogy’s worth of action and character development not just one movie
about the memory spell, they could pull a "50 First Dates", with MJ and Ned often dreaming about that random dude that went get coffee that one time

The next movie can very well all about his inner battle with his power, the physical manifestation of what Aunt May’s final words meant and put it to an ultimate test. It could be that Hob-Goblin can be his next villain, but seems too soon. Maybe it could be ramping to his origin story as the known villain to Spider-Man being more of a criminal underbelly crusade making more enemies along the way. Could see the Shocker? He was teased at the end of Homecoming and could be like the 90s animated series that helps Peter become aware of sonic noise being what detaches the symbiote from himself 🤷♂️. Might be a while before we see the web slinger.

Since the mcu changes up things a lot, i wouldn't mind if they say gwen and harry's name correctly. It would be nice to see peter saying "gwendolyn" and "harold" or "theo" for each of them. I also wouldn't mind if harry became Hob and becomes a hero for a short time then gets brainwashed by the goblin and ultimately kill gwen.

On the heels of Batman, Black Cat might be a tough sell. She was great in the comics though.
Here' what l think feigi will do:
-the mcu variant of norman Osborn not gonna be green goblin, they will instead make mcu variant the new head of shield or the dark avenger.
-they will use hobgoblin in mcu instead of doing mcu version green goblin and it won't be ned.
Kevin feigi is a very creative guy and he make everything work his way, he is the man with the back plans and his back up plans have back up plans.

I think it's much better that Ned becomes Hobgoblin. It's gonna be much more powerful if he tries to fight the newfound overconfidence from Venom when the life of his former friend is at stake, who doesn't even care about Peter, but yet Peter cares about him.

You are forgetting the broken Black Orchid necklace, and the Death Star. When Peter met with MJ and Ned in the diner post world amnesia, MJ was still wearing the broken necklace. In the before time it had sentimental value as it came from Peter. She still wears it, because the physical manifestations of Peter's existence haven't disappeared, merely the memory as well as the emotional growth engendered. Peter finds himself friendless at the end of the film, but at least he knows why. Ned is alone, but as far as he can remember, he always has been. There is a magnitude of experience between building that enormous Lego Death Star alone can with a friend. It's massive, intricate, requires a certain mind to complete, and cemented their bond. Ned took tremendous pride in the Man in the Chair persona, a pride in dangerous activities using high tech. Now none of that happened, yet how will his mind fill in the gaps? MJ without Peter and the looming anxiety of being around him - who might attack? Is he radioactive? - is more optimistic and positive. Ned, having bitterly constructed the Death Star alone, learning to rely on his own brilliance, that the world was a place without friendship - that Ned is not at all the Jolly Ned we knew, who would, frankly be ridiculous as Hobgoblin. New Ned, who we don't know at all, is dangerously different. What if he starts dreaming of the Green Goblin, not seeing him clearly but emulating on an unconscious level? Imagine you find out that you once had a close beat friend, that he stole that friendship away, imagine the rage? I'd pay to see that Hobgoblin, rather than Roderick Kingsley, some rando X gen. Have the actor hit the Marvel gym and a Kumail transformation in the next two years.

*The franchise has SO many iconic Spidey villains that it would be insane to make Hobgoblin the main baddie again and again. Kraven, Scorpion, Chameleon, and many more exist.*

Don’t forget the potential option of Ned becoming Hob Goblin. I can see Ned becoming Hob Goblin due to forgetting his promise to come look for him once he remembers, Ned would feel betrayed and maybe want revenge.

Leigh Whannell for directing Spiderman 4. Upgrade and Invisible Man… think he could do that black costume Spiderman justice.
Since the first trilogy all about his growing up and becoming a man, the "home" monocur made perfect sense. It's the home trilogy. I want this next trilogy to be all about him standing on his own and showing the man he really is. So "spectacular" is a great moncur for this trilogy. And if we get it. The third trilogy would be the "ultimate" trilogy leading up to miles officially being handed the tile of spiderman

I actually do like the idea of Ned becoming Hobgoblin, perhaps not straight away, but further down. The whole 'everyone forgetting' thing may led Ned down a semi dark path trying to piece everything together, that paired with Peter already going down a dark path (add in the symbiote), the two could come in conflict in-turn cementing Ned as Hobgoblin, and this could be what helps Peter finally realise the path he is on (add in the whole church scene where Peter gets rid of the symbiote).
Love your ideas, you should pitch this to Marvel / Disney.
1 scene I’d like to add: At some point Spider-Man sees a magic portal open. A shadowy figure steps out and approaches menacingly. Spider tenses, ready to fight. Light falls on the newcomers face, who shouts out a single word: “RENT?”

If Venom gets introduced it could go like this:
- He's Eddie Brock, a schoolmate of Peter in college and a star football player but because of Spidey's battles, he gets injured and breaks his legs(like Flash Thompson's Agent Venom) and make him unable to play football anymore and he blames Spider-Man.
- After recovering, he worked as a journalist to get intel on who Spiderman is and when Spidey gets rid of the symbiote, it made its way to Eddie and bond with it, becoming Venom.
