Idk why maybe it’s nostalgia but I feel like having tobey’s Spider-Man in the mix would’ve made the drama way more interesting since his reactions and face expressions were always on point, it made him feel like a real character. And definitely would’ve felt better having a seasoned Spider-Man with the avengers, compared to iron boy jr that we got.

I know it wouldnt f i t but just imagine that scene in iron man 2 when Whiplash ambushes him at the race, he is trying to put the armor on and right before Tony gets cleaved in half, you see Spider Man whip in and pull whiplash back so he couldnt merc tony.

I knew that Nick Fury was supposed to mention Spider-Man, Hulk and the X-Men in the first Iron Man film, however I didn't know that Spider-Man was actually supposed to be in the Incredible Hulk film. Maybe his alias could've been Mr. Red as he could've tried to help Bruce cure himself as Peter knows what it's like living with irradiated blood, so Peter and Bruce could be kindred spirits.

Love this idea! The only thing I would want to add is a "Sinister Six"th movie after Endgame where Toby's Peter teams up with Miles against the Six, and then passes the mantle on to him.

you bring a very good reason why they should’ve stayed with tobey as Spider-Man. It would’ve made more sense and more sentimental, and even more of a passing of the torch if we would’ve had tobey be Spider-Man since 2002 to 2019 or 2021 and his 6th movie with him as the protagonist instead of getting no way home we see a movie where he teaches miles the ropes like Peter b Parker and then dies leaving miles to be the young Spider-Man of the Mcu. It doesn’t make much sense compared to now when baby face holland looks far from a mentor.
I'd rather see him have a daughter with MJ and train May Parker as Spidergirl. Don't see why he always has to pass the mantle to Miles.

Unpopular opinion, to me, I much prefer Toby as the main Spider-Man.
Yeah the others are great, but Toby has been with us since our childhood. That's also why he was so loved in the latest Spider-Man. We want him back! :(
If possible (please do it) you should do a similar type of video imagining Andrew Garfield as MCU Spider-Man.... The story arc you made for Tobey is really great in this video
honestly, Andrew Garfield Spider-Man does seem like the best fit for the MCU. a teenage Peter that still feels and looks like a teenager by todays standard AND an aunt that actually looks like an aunt instead of a hot woman in her late 20s/ early 30s.

Since Spider-Man is referenced at the end of the first Ant Man film, maybe this could've worked. But you're right about Peter not initially respecting Tony Stark, especially since they don't really gel well in the comics either.
I love your pitch.
I think it’d go like this though:
1.The Avengers -
-Spiderman stays in the background having a smaller story than the team.
-After being under appreciated by the the public after Spiderman 3 Peter feels alone, like no one gets that side of his life.
-His wife, MJ supports him through his struggles as Peter Parker and he finally has that side of his life but can’t make anything better for him as Spider-Man.
-This hits Spiderman especially hard because Harry could’ve joined him as a superhero and got this part of his life had he not died.
-The rest of the film is the same the avengers assemble but just as they stand in that iconic circle poss Spider-Man watches them and finally feels less alone.
-Spider-Man fights alongside the avengers in the battle of New York.
-At the end of the movie when all the televisions play people sing the praises of Spider-Man.
-Peter gets to speak to the avengers and get their contact including his hero Captain America and scientist heroes Bruce Banner and Tony Stark.
-They offer him to join, he declines as he has everything he needs in New York but would love to stay in touch.
-Peter goes for Shawarma in the end and is the only one who’s actually tried it.
2.Spider-Man 4.
-mix of homecoming and Raimi’s original plans with Tony Stark who’s taken a step back from being Iron Man after Iron man 3.
-in this film Peter will have a flat arc meaning all of his morals and beliefs are principles he sticks to and it is everyone else around him who changes because of him sticking to his core beliefs.
-The Vulture is the same sort of character as he is in Spiderman homecoming selling weapons from the battle of New York and having a chip on his shoulder because of the rich folks like Tony stark who don’t care about people like them.
-in this version Adrian Toomes protests big investments like Avengers tower when there are extremely deprived areas in New York like the one he lives in with his daughter.
-Peter has learned to balance being Spider-Man, his career which is now in teaching science, being a husband and a father very well.
-Peter and MJ now have a daughter who does very well in school due to his mother and father’s teachings.
-Peter teaches his daughter in school who is very well liked and popular unlike him.
-Adrian Toome’s daughter however is not as well liked and is bullied in school for being poor, Peter teacher her how to stand up to bullies and makes sure she isn’t left out in class.
-Peter’s daughter befriends this young girl which leads to Peter and MJ forming a friendship with her dad Adrian Toomes.
-Aunt May speaks to Peter about how her and Ben were happy, without much money. This time around she also advices him directly on Spider-Man related things.
-Black Cat is also a villain in this who’s stealing from stark industries as she lives alone with no money.
-Peter tries convincing Felicia that she doesn’t need everything, she just needs enough and to work for it not steal for it.
-Peter lets her go with his faith for the working class that she won’t strike again which Tony finds out about that starts a rift between them.
-Peter in unsure he did the right thing but aunt May assures him to keep his faith in people, that’s what makes him Peter Parker.
-Peter teaches Tony to have faith in people that weren’t handed a silver spoon like him, they just need the chance to prove themselves.
-Peter does this by sparing vulture even tho he knows his identity and trusting he’ll keep it a secret. He fights for the working man.
-Tony shows his gratitude by seeing toomes in jail and giving him a genuine heart felt apology, changing how he does business to help the working class.
-Peter and Mj adopt Toome’s daughter as he’s a single dad.
-The movie ends with Tony having a new respect for Peter and the working class with real faith that ppl can change.
-While Peter sits around the dinner table with his family, he opens an insane gift from Tony which we do not see yet (the iron spider suit)
3.Avengers: Age of Ultron
-Peter is only in the New York sections of the film.
-Part of Iron man’s suit of armour around the world isn’t just because of Thanos invading, but to help ppl in deprived areas with no defences. Something he previously learned from Peter.
-Peter advices Bruce and Tony not to use Ultron, he’s seen stuff like this before.
-Peter also thanks Tony for the ‘gift’, the ( iron spider suit.)
-Peter is at the party in avengers mansion and interacts with everyone there.
WE DO NOT SEE THE IRON SPIDER SUIT YET.
4.Captain America: civil war
-This time Peter is a major player.
-The Hulk is lost after age of ultron, thar young boy died in sikovia, and the incident with Scarlet Witch happens setting off the Sikovia accords.
-Tony comes to Peter after meeting with the Avengers and Spider-Man about the accords and tells him about how he never found the balance with him and pepper and they’re on a break.
-Peter tells him to just concentrate on what matters to him until he’s off that break. Tony dives into his work on the accords.
-Tony eventually convinces Peter to sign the accords by showing him how many more people he can help when he’s notified about crime.
-Iron man sends Spider-Man after Captain America, he refuses to comply and turns against Tony.
-Spider-Man escapes the airport battle,

There is a way to salvage and save the MCU. By setting up “What if” movies to, not replace the show versions. But create separate “What-if” branches to improve the MCU “sacred” timeline. Creating the idea that most of the MCU movies or shows are considered “What-if” timeline events and not the “original” version of them. Mirror echoes of another. Being told again and again as a story being worked on. Since Loki is the God of Stories. Where stories like Iron Man 1 do overlap certain stories while others do not.

1. MCU: Audiance Choice Storyboard Menu
------------------------
Dealing with a conflict of interest that needs to be addressed in the form of an Audiance Choice Storyboard Menu on Disney Plus.

Where on Disney Plus you would have an Audiance Choice Storyboard Menu of MCU events that work for you to choose. While others can be marked red as the events won't pan out in the storyboard. Rerouting the timeline you chose in an attempt to make it work. An experimental feedback system by the audiance.

2. MCU: Show Version vs What-if M. Version
------------------------
If they made “What-if Movie” versions in the MCU then it would make things interesting for the fans. Especially ideas coming from fans. Where the MCU “Show Version” we had been given should be considered a choice within its branches, a form of “What-if.”

Where the MCU “Show Version” would act as a form of “What-if” possibilities, “Show Versions.” Connected to the Marvel movies but don't fully as it would be debatable for the audiance.

While down the road. They should “retell” their stories as a “What-if Movie” version. Or Atleast combine some of their shows into a full-length feature. Instead of breaking it all down into long tedious episodes.

3. MCU: What-If: Live Action/Animation/Both

Where some of these “What-if Movie” versions don't all have to be live-action and can be converted into animation. In the case of previous actors returning who are either old or unable to perform for certain reasons. Saving time or money to make their movies but also converting them into specific projects that needed to be addressed.

The post credit scene in Iron Man 1 had my hopes up that Tobey's Spider Man will be part of that universe since they are just one year apart and Fury mentioning radioactive bug had me thinking it is Tobey's Spiderman, or else who else is he referencing to at the time since it introduced Spiderman before hand. And then all those waiting for years, we got Tom Holland instead... Tom is not bad but I rather the OG join the MCU

Tobey not being in the Avengers is why it has taken me all these years to catch up on the whole universe. I refused to watch an Avengers without SpiderMan. Albeit he was carrying superhero’s for years until Iron Man came along. Tobey is, and always will be the best and original Spider-Man.
How can you not love a channel with a fluffy dog as a co-host?
The way you jump in and weave threads of the MCU together is astonishingly similar to co-writing music in a band, people either get how to fit in the mix and create within a structure, or they feel caged or can't compromise and play as a team. It's not good or bad, it's just two different ways of creating music and some do best solo, others in collaboration. Anyway, if you don't play any instrument or sing that's too bad, your brain would fit right in to music with others.
Might be my favorite episodes of SC, when you guys flex your speculation muscles. Love it!

I always felt like the periodic reboots of Spiderman were (enjoyable) wastes of potential. The comic book Spiderman character has SO MUCH growth potential that we never got to see on the big screen because Sony just kept retelling the same origin story. By the time of the first Avengers movie, Peter could have been married to MJ with baby Mayday recently born, and in Infinity War we get MJ as Spinnerette and Mayday as Spidergirl!

Joe Manganiello was born to play Wonder Man, not Flash Thompson. WonderFlash's sidekick was originally intended to be Flash, and he would've been perfect. Lot's of filmmakers' "bright ideas" aren't actually very bright at all.

I do love how these theory / "what if" videos can pull scenes and details from the relevant videogames. I've played (and completed) all the recent Spider-Man games, and loved ever moment of embodying the web-slingers - Peter and Miles alike.

I really like this what if. But in an alternate universe where spider man was an OG Avenger, he would not have been dusted (none of the OGs were).
But I think that might still have worked. What if MJ and Aunt May and everyone he cared about dusted? Maybe he would get depressed that he couldn't save anyone and disappear to be alone. The MCU could presume he dusted, and Miles steps up during the blip still. Perhaps he even eventually discovers Peter is still alive and convinces him to come back one last time for the time heist (like they did in different ways for Thor, Clint and Tony).
Peter triumphantly returns, helps defeat 2014 Thanos, is reunited with MJ, and still decides to hang up the suit and pass the torch to Miles
Not only that, I would like to see Mayday Parker in the MCU if Tobey is the Spiderman in the MCU and have her raised.
Or alternatively imagine of he was the ONLY one out of the original group to be dusted. Imagine the complete gut punch that would be!
Sony is so bad with licensing, first 2007 with giving the license to mega instead of LEGO, then 2008 not being in the MCU, then rebranding spider man in 2012, then making the MCU spider man in 2016 was worse than Tobey Maguire

I’m cautiously optimistic that Deadpool & Wolverine will change some of the mistakes. Specially since Bob Iger didn’t approve of Ryan Reynolds creative control.

13:59 I would have really liked if you showed a clip from the PS1 Spider-Man game where a similar thing happens. Spider-Man is framed for a robbery (which is the catalyst of the story) and at so me point later in the game, we get a cameo from Daredevil confronting Spider-Man about the robbery, Spider-Man explaining the situation, and Daredevil letting him go because he knows he didn't do it.

If Tobey's Spider-Man was in the MCU, and Nick Fury would have spoken of mutants, and there was a planned cameo of Wolverine in Spider-Man 2 that was scrapped because Hugh Jackman couldn't find his costume, the MCU would have included all the Marvel movies. So Daredevil would have been played by Ben Affleck, not Charlie Cox.
Also, if it was the original plan to incorporate all the past Marvel movies into the MCU, why did Marvel stop Fox from adding Nick Fury to Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer?

Back in 2007 Spider-Man was the bigger character. I remember having dinner w a friend who is working for Merrill Lynch on the marvel studio project. Told me about it, how they will have iron man headlining the first MCU movie. Then followed by hulk, Thor, etc etc. I’m like, “wtf? Ironman? No one in the mainstream knows or care about iron man. Thor is a silly character. Guardians of the what? Ant Man? Dr strange??” (Yes I’m a dirty casual. Still am.)
I am stupid to say the least. Happy it worked out for Marvel.

I don't think that was the case, the Tony Stark thing in Spider man 2 was always just supposed to be a cool easter egg, just like what they did with Doctor Strange, and Tobey's cameo on Hulk also was more just because the director wanted, that does not mean it was something planned and he would be on the MCU.

I'm taking a particular angle in my thoughts on this concept, so please bear with me as this likely doesn't make much sense and may easily be answered, but I was curious to know how it would be addressed: One major problem I see with Tobey's Spider-Man is that the actor himself would be dedicated to the role for decades. It wouldn't be feasible, so how could it be depicted that it's Tobey's universe with succeeding actors while also remaining entertaining to newcomers who would need to watch all the previous movies? How would the audience be able to keep things straight in knowing what's part of the MCU or not (since this would've started in 2002)? And would this single line of continuity alternate new audiences with the additional number of movies released in the MCU? Or would there be fewer movies overall?

What would have made that Toby ending even better, the One Last Day event never happened. So after coming back to life 5 years later, Peter Parker/Spider-Man is not only created by MJ, but his 4-5 yr old red head daughter who he had never seen or known of. Spiderling exists.
Let's not forget that Jackman's Wolverine was suppose to be in the rami Spider-man and Captain America: The First Avenger. The Spider-Man appearance one is extra saddening as word was Jackman was on standby but the costume department couldn't find the costume nor a leather jacket so they axed the idea.
