Wrong Max thought he fried the chip again when he shocked him and throwed him out the window but he didn't because Peter redesigned it with the shielding around it to protect it from such things
Emma Stone Gwen knew Andrew Garfield Peter was Spider-Man. Just like the Villains were pulled from their universe before their death, Emma Gwen should have also be pulled before her death. That would be amazing for our amazing spiderman.
I had to rewatch the Amazing Spiderman and noticed electro opened his eyes after stacy said the word "Peter". Almost all people knew in that universe that a Peter Parker worked getting pictures of spiderman. At the moment Stacy said the name electro could link that Peter Parker was Spiderman without knowing his face.
@@siegebug lol I invite you to watch it again. Begore she "took her decision" she said the word "Peter". Electro was by the car after she ran over him. It is stretchy that electro could hear at that distance but it the closest explanation.
Don’t forget that Harry worked with Electro to get Peter’s blood. Harry knew of Peter at this point so I think it is safe to assume that he told Electro of his identity off camera.
So from my understanding, the reason the other Mary Jane/Gwen, Harry and even Aunt May from the other Peters didn't show up is because Strange removed them from the spell, to Peter's request. "Everyone will forget except your girlfriend, your best friend and your aunt" so therefore that's why they weren't brought there
Sandman’s heel turn comes from the fact that he just wants to go home. When working with Peter is the most direct way to get home he does it, when the villains revolt he can see that this will likely push Peter to banish them back to their timelines unfixed, which is still a good result for him. Sandman has always been shown in the films to protect his own self interest in a wishy washy way.
Agreed. Also 2/4 were being controlled by their alter-ego and 1/4 was a loner with nothing to live for that ALMOST gave up their power but ultimately wanted to be powerful more than be a good person.
Electro himself told Sandman that they wouldn't go home because he liked the energy of that universe while Spider-man told him that he would send him back after he cured everyone, it doesn't make any sense
@@theshaggydogg2867 yeah so they would be back to their universes where only the ones that died would keep dead, but yeah, Sandman didn't die so what's the logic?
I agree. I think they'll have lots of deja vu type moments. Dreams that show reality. Things of that nature. And I also think Strange fixed the spell to where he knows what happened.
Electro says in the film "I was in the mainframe gathering data and information. I nearly had it all and then..." So if the villains are coming in when they LEARN spidermans identity, that still fits. Doc Oc and Norman Osborne learn his identity because they physically see Peter Parker remove his mask. But electro learnt his identity via data. He just hadn't seen him physically yet.
So why were the villains pulled from different years in time? Otto knew Norman died but didn’t know he would die too, the spell somehow pulled villains from Spider-Man 1,2,3 each from different times, how does that work? Pretty convenient 😂
No, because the people would remember that Peter Parker is Spider Man and that he created the Elementals, but they wouldn't remember from where they know that
I just thought about this and it wouldn't work, because what if some people knew Peter was Spider-Man through friends or news. so to them they never knew who Mysterio was or what he said but they still found out Peter is Spiderman
Still he would’ve messed up cause Peter still would have ask Strange to make MJ remember and some others in fact without the Mysterio events they wouldn’t be together
In regards to Electro trusting Octavious, when he decided he didn't want to be cured he threw a blast at Octavious, so besides Octavious attacking SpiderMan he probably thought that his blast might have fried the new inhibitor chip again. He even did say something like "he liked him better before", so he probably actually intended to fry the chip.
Idk if anyone noticed. But that subtle detail they had when electro was powering up. He was first blue (from amazing Spiderman 2) then because he's in the MCU him noticing the energy is more powerful. It changed his color to yellow. That was super dope to see
@Jerk Magherk the mask yeah. I'm talking when he's first introduced to electro and sandman. On the powerlines he was blue first. Then the electricity turned yellow
My theory on why Electro didn’t attack Doc Oc is that he thought that he fried the chip again when he shocked him earlier in the film; reverting the arms into control. That’s what I was suspecting happened in the moment
that’s exactly what i thought too! now i’m wondering if doc oc went along with everyone when they revolted and pretended to be on their side, or if he went into hiding alone until the fight
@@2riel He likely ran away *because* Electro *could* destroy the chip and he didn't want that to happen. Sandman's the one that didn't make much sense. His goal is to return home to his kid. Helping the villains is directly at odds with that. I legit think he was only made into a villain so that Spiderman would actually *need* help
@@InfernosReaper Sandman was helping the villains get the box - but his ulterior motive was to push the button whereas Electro was going to destroy it.
Bro, after reading Five Kingdoms, there’s an easy explanation: the spell attacks the individual memories of the affected person, so the more memories you have of them, the harder it is to remember them, barber: thinks you’re familiar, but doesn’t dwell on it. Mother: doesn’t think twice passing you in the street. Sad.
9:39 This guy is forgetting the Goblin is only a wee bit weaker than Peter in terms of strength but superior in durability and endurance. He even has a better healing factor. Even in the comics, Peter doesn't hold back whenever he fights Goblin because he could always handle it.
I think that Peter at the end of the movie creates his own suit because it metaphorically shows how he disconnects from his past to start a new life, and shows his evolution as a character. It shows how he moved on from his “iron boy” or “stark mascot” phase, to now create his own identity as Spider-Man. Before this movie, he didn’t had an origin (trauma), he had a lot of people who backed and helped him, and he was just an immature teen, which didn’t had a own identity or a stamp. At the end of movie he has an origin (aunt May’s death), he has no one, he has matured and learned from his mistakes (great power comes with great responsibility ), and creates his own stamp, “the neighborhood spider-man who always does everything by himself”. In this way the character matured into a more similar Peter Parker from the comics. So, In conclusion, creating his own suit metaphorically means that we will se now a new grown up Spider-Man with his background story. He is literally and metaphorically departuring from his past life to start a new one. He leaving stark industries behind. And he is also leaving his friends behind, that’s why he doesn’t want to meet them and try to have a relationship. He matured for the good. He knows his destiny. That’s why I think this Spider-Man movies is just the start and origin of the super-hero that will develop in future films.
@@NeroG4ming I think another trilogy has already been confirmed or said to be worked on. It will most likely be a more mature and independent spiderman without the other mcu heroes
As much slack as Tom’s Spider-Man got for being reliant on so many other characters, I like that they took 3 movies building up his arc of an independent character. It almost makes him a more complex character, where a series of events lead to his growth, not just a single moment. Opens up a lot of opportunities for the new trilogy as well :)
To see Toby go against all his villains again was priceless to me. And then to have Andrew (in my mind) redeem himself as a good Spider-Man so much so he stole my attention every time he was on screen. It wasn’t loving the start of the movie but once everyone showed up, sheeeeeeeeeeeesh
I have always said he was the best actor to play Spiderman he just had bad direction in bad movies. I really hope they put him in the Venom universe. So many people say he stole the movie. I'd also like a good story explaining his parents.

@@VitchAndVorty I thought he was a little cocky as Peter in the Amazing Spiderman movies but I really liked how they made Spiderman a little more intimidating in the 1st one. His lighter, funnier personality in No Way Home is gold in my opinion.
When Peter went into the coffee shop and noticed his girlfriend and best friends lives were "better" cause they didn't know him and he chose not to make them remember. Damn that really tugged on the heart strings. Really hoping they eventually can get their memories back someway. Although I doubt it, it's easier to write the 2 of them off especially considering that was last spiderman movie
I found that bogus. A major plot point was his friend telling him that they want to be in his life as spider man and how he needs to stop pushing them away. Yet what does he do, he blatantly dismissed them thinking he's helping...
@@trident5523 that’s false there already working on the plot for spider man 4 simple research will show you.. you think there gonna let it go after the success 3 had yea right and there so much more to do
It’s explicitly explained that Electro’s defeat in ASM2 was his death, and that he was transported shortly before that moment. He explains that his powers and appearance are inexplicably different in this universe as well
One of my biggest questions was Electro knowing who Peter Parker is… this is kind of a stretch, but they explain it in No Way Home in the same scene they talk about coming to the mcu earth. Electro is talking about kicking Spider-Man’s ass and says “I was in the grid collecting data.” This seems like massive amounts of data, so who knows what that could mean. Could be cell phone calls with Gwen at least connecting the name Peter Parker’s name to Spider-man. This would make since you the theory of coming over the moment they knew he was Peter Parker.
I like how the TVA were basically the personification of all those copyright and company rules that kept all of these movie universes separate and as soon as these rules of their’s dissolved all of these alternate Company franchises start smashing together. Also that Venom explanation was phenomenal even if that version of Venom is now officially a screw up. Hopefully the MCU can now make a better more comic accurate Venom for the next movie
Actually Venom is pretty comic accurate to the Venom solo run of comics where he spends time in San Francisco, the only thing really missing is his Peter Parker related origin story
After watching it at home, I noticed that when Peter moved into his new apartment, he has a box that reveals he’s taking his GED, so it seems like he might not have any school records. If that’s the case, Strange may have erased all traces of Peter’s existence.
@@alanhersch4617 It might be easier to erase all proof of his existence instead of having magic constantly work at suppressing people’s memories….but hey, who said Doctor Strange did everything easy?!?
@@benjaminspears8488 It is an interesting question actually. is deleting all matter and digital evidence easier than enchanting everyone with a foggy memory? Obviously magic isnt real so hard to say. The enchanting is probably "simplier" at least. Idk either way though, again good question.
@@alanhersch4617 but keep in mind. Peter got blipped, so everyone forgetting he’s Spider-Man and also basically being erased for 6 years most likely means he never finished school nor was accounted for being blipped because no one knew him. @@buincqv67 They already resolved that in far from home. Q: How did Electro know Peter Parker? A: There's a line of dialogue in No Way Home that I think explains why Electro knew who Spider-Man was but maybe didn't know what he looked like: Max says that the moment before he was pulled into this universe, he'd been dumped into the power grid and was "absorbing data." Since the power plant where they fight in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was owned by Oscorp, and Peter Parker's father worked at Oscorp, and with all the new information Harry Osborn learned in that movie, it makes total sense that Max absorbed data that included the fact that Peter Parker was the only successful mutation and was now Spider-Man. Such smart writing. Just ONE small line that explains a potential huge plot hole.
@@solitary2 I think they mean that the one line (the moment before he was pulled into this universe, he'd been dumped into the power grid and was "absorbing data.") that was put in NWH explains how he knows peter parker is spider-man and why it was directly before he exploded.
I think that makes sense. He would have been able to download A LOT of date being pure electricity and since all of them were transported at the moment they learned Spider-man's identity it makes sense it happened when he was downloading.
another reason not every single person that knows he's peter parker was pulled in is because doctor strange said he was able to contain the spell before it went haywire meaning it probably would've sucked in more people, but stopped before it could
Plus we didn't know where they might end up. Oct and goblin were just going around, maybe. Tom was looking for the others and never found Eddie (who was not even in The US) so they might have come to his universe but returned in those two days
Yep, because at the end of the movie, when Strange loses control of the spell, we see him trying to contain it, and as he struggles to contain the spell, you can see glowing silhouettes of characters like Rhino, meaning the spell can’t be contained
When Eddie's gonna talk about Spider-Man, Venom started saying "Eddie we are drunk" and started trying to get away to the conversation. So maybe Venom's scared of Peter because of what happened to the Spider-Man 3 Venom. A quote from Venom that can also apply to SpiderMan " Oh shit! That is a red one"
How does a piece of Venom get left behind if everything that knows Peter Parker not from the universe gets returned to its universe? Seemed a bit forced to open doors to MCU venom incarnations.
Here’s my biggest question. Does the spell at the end make everyone across the multiverse forget Peter Parker or only the Tom Holland one? Like is Tobey and Andrew gonna go back to nobody remembering them at all? Cause that’s gonna suck for MJ and Tobey. Not to mention, does that mean Franco still dies in the third film from Topher Grace? Cause he never would have turned into the new goblin now that Norman is cured. And Tobey would still have to fight Venom. Does Franco live because Dafoe is cured now? Then if Tobey is forgotten as Peter Parker, wouldn’t MJ and Harry be dating more than likely? That’s gonna break Tobey’s heart. God they could make a whole new Sam Raimi trilogy off of that.
I like to think it would be instanced for "this" Peter Parker. Name and face go hand in hand for MCU spiderman, especially for the spell. The initial spell that Strange attempted only went awry due to the changes by MCU Peter's meddling, but the new spell most likely accounted, by Strange, for the current universe's Peter as well as to fix the initial issues the previous spell caused, if using the simplest understanding. Granted, magic can be pretty blase with its "purpose" as per writer's arguements.
I think not. It was Holland's Peter Parker identity that caused the problem and attracted everyone in his reality. Everyone that knew who Peter Parker was to their universe were attracted to MCU universe because the spell had as a parameter Holland's Peter Parker identity that was exposed. Dr. Strange wouldn't need to apply the spell for the multiverse. Even if he did (and could), the spell would work for Holland's identity specifically as this was the main problem. The worst case scenario is that other Spidermen and ex-villans would forget about Holland's PP identity.
I loved the full circle, loved Green Goblin being that final boss. And Tobey saving Osborn only for Osborn to stab him, I woulda cried hard if Tobey died
@@TG-cw8gj lol it’s okay he not a true Spider-Man fan. We all know he didn’t die because in the movie they asked if he is okay and Tobey said yes I’ve been stabbed before plus spider healing so he alive lol
Yeah, just reviewed the Electro scene, and there's an instant when he's briefly incapacitated, Gwen calls Peter by name, and Max's eyes snap open. It's not much, but it seems possible he overheard that Spider-Man was someone named "Peter", which could've been close enough for the spell.
He could also know because he was a crazy fan for spiderman and linked all the points that peter parker the only person to get good pictures for the bugle that links peters name
The way Electro described where he came from makes it seem like he was from the ending of Tasm2 and he didn’t realise he was gonna die. But he also says something about being in the grid absorbing data. Maybe Oscorp had a file on Peter Parker because they were already looking into Gwen so maybe on a file somewhere it says Peter is the boyfriend of Gwen and like how Harry made the connection that Peter was Spider-Man because of Gwen being there Electro could have made the same connection as he had met Gwen earlier in the movie so knew what she looked like
I think you guys are going way into it.... Maybe he just thought that spiderman was a black guy...... And knew that Spiderman's name in other universes is Peter Parker too because of the convos they all are having?
there’s actually an entire sub plot about oscorp following peter and keeping that exact file of him that was cut from the amazing spider-man 2. loads of deleted scenes from both of those films. u can see some of it in the trailers
Ned also mentioned that magic runs in his family and he gets that tingling sensation which Dr. Strange dismissed. Ned better be in the multiverse of madness, he's a prodigy
Idk if you seen the new spider man movie. So stop reading this if you haven’t. But If u did. You remember the part where Ned tells Peter he won’t kill him since they are best friends. And when they get to dr strange house and use that one basement he is fanboying over everything in there then he plays with the cross bow. Which is a weapon hobgoblin uses
Electro said in the movie he was trapped in the grid, “Absorbing Data” possibly including data on Spider-Man which may have allowed him to learn his name
This is exactly what I was thinking! I was specifically looking for someone to point this out. BTW I cried in this movie--so good!! The theater was packed, unlike for Westside Story 2 Fridays ago...
by that logic many people in Amazing verse know that Peter is Spiderman because that data is available so it could have been accessible to more people and they should have also gotten pulled into the MCU.
I have a theory about the final spell. We, the audience, don't know the specific parameters Strange put into it, we only have a rough idea about all the "rules". In a future movie we can find out Strange added something that would allow MJ and Ned, and maybe even Strange himself, to remember under certain circumstances. Something similar was done in a Spider-man comic involving the Fantastic Four some time after One More Day. He told them his identity and they suddenly recovered all of their memories involving Peter.
I’d really like to think this would happen. Not right away, or course, because Peter can now learn how to better handle his personas. I’d like to think that Peter wouldn’t just leave the lives of the two people who anchor him, one of which he loves. We’ve seen the past love interests with Toby and Andrew. Peter deserves MJ.
It reminded me of how, in the comics, Captain America was "imprisoned" through the timeline, so, to be saved, he gave Vision a memory during an old event, and Vision remembered it in the present
@@randyjam9925 then why make MJ and Ned forget? Sony owns their rights as well. Even if Sony/MCU deal isn't extended, getting rid of them doesn't make sense
The other thing about forgetting peter in the beginning is we see examples of how it works with Happy. Anything that cannot simply be removed instead becomes attributed to Spiderman directly, I imagine most "physical" evidence begins to point to spiderman instead now. However Peter himself may have a few things he could actually explain to people, but without intervention they will only know Spiderman
@@MinuteLeech2 It could just be that he needed to drop out of High School though. He's gonna have to pay the rent somehow, after all. And he'd probably struggle to get the flat I the first place without any documentation of his existence.
Here's a plot hole that a lot of people overlook: when Doc Ock first saw the Green Goblin on the freeway, he immediately identified him as Norman Osborn. How could he have possibly know this? Green Goblin's identity was never made public, not even his own son found out about it until later. _Maybe_ you could say that Ocatvius figured it out for himself because him and Osborn were peers of sorts and so he was familiar with his tech, but that would he a Hell of a thing to keep to himself!
Its said that Otto and Norman were close when they were in the basement. Plus you gave yourself the answer, they’re familiar with each others tech which is how he would have figured it out.
@@remuvs Still a Hell of a thing to keep to himself though. I mean if he figured it out while the Green Goblin was on his rampage, that means he was knowingly withholding evidence from the authorities. Imagine if Spider-Man hadn't saved those people on the tram; their deaths would be on his conscience before he even became a villain. Not to mention this also raises the question as to why Harry wasn't able to figure out his identity after he took over Oscorp and would have found out about all that tech.
Sandman did mention that norman was the green goblin and he heard that he was killed by his own glider. His identity could have been revealed publicly after Harry's death because they shared similar tech and he was pretty well known as being Normans son.
I think the reason Tom was able to beat Dr Strange was because strange wasn’t taking him very seriously. Throughout the scene you can see in his face he was doing minimal effort to get the cube back and keeps calling him kid. Like he’s just some kid that ran off with daddy’s keys or something. He even rolls his eyes several times.
I agree. Dr. Strange is arrogant and feels superior to his physician peers so he definitely sees Peter as a kid who hasn’t got a clue. To his defense, Spidey always had Tony Stark with him, and his own abilities were never fully displayed. Peter grew up in this show. Strange finally realized his worth before forgetting him forever.
In the movie when the villains are talking about what they last remembered, Electro said he was gathering energy and data. I think he found out that Spider-man was Peter Parker through some data on the cloud. Maybe Peter had designs for a new suit on his phone, or a spicy spider selfie for gwen that got stored on the cloud.
or he could have learned through harry. they worked together right? must have read harry's emails or something judging from how terrible oscorp security is

Tobey is the dad of all of them the really was the cherry on top! The og Peter 1‼️ Edit: Andrew’s Spider-Man has always been comical! He’s a great actor and he shows sadness so well!
I’ve a couple of questions: After giving the villains second chances, will that affect the separate Spidey realities and timelines or will it be like the Endgame rules in which it just branches off different realities? My second question is will both Tobey and Andrew and the reformed villains remember everything that happened and will they all still remember Tom Holland’s Peter?
It creates paradoxes. Norman will stop Otto thus Doc Ock will not exist. Same goes for Connors saving Max. Sandman might still be Sandman. But these are still paradoxes that have an incredible high chance
in instances like your second question don't they normally forget but if that were to happen wouldn't they wonder why they are changed/cured when just 'moments' ago they weren't. I'm not answering the question well, I'm creating more. Sorry.
So many questions that we'll maybe never receive answers for. Like why did Peter show up on the highway and just casually takes his suite off then on again when Ock shows up right in front of everybody even a news station chopper right above? Doctor Strange just his used his spell to make the world forget...
The part when all of the villains were in the dungeon, Electro calls The Lizard by his real name, Dr Curt Connors. However, Doc Ock didn't say anything despite him knowing of a Dr Curt Connors in his own universe.
There is a Curt Connors in the Raimiverse but he never turned himself into the Lizard. Though judging by Curt’s missing arm in Spider-Man 3, that was a route they were going to take if SM4 hadn’t been cancelled.
They (electro and lizard) also don't say anything about having a Norman Osborn there thats not from they universe. And i think its cool, we all get it that theres distincted versions of the same person around the multiverse
When Flint talked about seeing Norman's death on the news, he mentions it being from his glider. In SM3 Harry doesn't find out this until Bernard tells him, at the climax of the movie. My biggest gripe is why a random employee of Damage Control knew Nick Fury is alive and that he was in Space. When Peter tried to use Fury as an alibi I was expecting Damage Control to reply that Fury has been dead for years. Am I missing something that reversed Fury faking his death? And while Damage Damage Control was a part of Shield at some point, following CA:TWS it was brought into the US government. Why does a random government employee know so much about Fury. Unless this was a set up for Secret Invasion and the damage control guy was a Skrull.
May be it was set for Secret Invasion, or may be it's simply in the end of the movie, when Nat made all SHIELD data public, data about Fury's fake death were leaked as well (this happened after he revealed he's still alive to Pierce), or simply the DODC has a wider intelegent knowledges than we thought. Remember he was in Tony's funeral so everybody there must know he's alive, including Ross and Pym.
Quick question concerning the Venom tie-in (spoiler alert, obviously): why would a piece of Venom still remain after the spell was cast sending him back to his universe? Wouldn't the spell send all of Venom/Brock back to his reality? What's so special about the small drip left on the bar that the spell wouldn't impact it?
I dont know maybe something about the multiverse or that bit that was left behind wasnt connected to the symboite web or maybe its just that it wasnt connected to eddie and it would only go back if connected to him maybe. Not sure did wonder the same thing. Either way it will set up dark symboite peter cause Im just gonna assume hes not going to be in a good mood the next time we see him.
It's possible this could be a spawn of venom, like carnage was. Thus, since the spawn was "born in this universe" and "doesn't know peter parker" the spell wouldn't affect it. Could also have to do with the "hive mind" thing that got them here in the first place. That race could still exist in this universe, so while the spell sent all of Venom that was connected to Brock away, it could have left the bit that was separated since it's part of the alien hive mind.
Venom is a Multiversal being. All Venoms across the Multiverse share a hive memory. Venom told Eddie about it in second Venom film. Toby's Venom is the reason they knew who Peter was and the suit breeds by replicating itself. Its a birth of a new venom
To everyone confused about the spell I have a pretty good theory about it. The original spell involved the world forgetting Tom's Peter being Spider-Man goes out of control and breaches into the multiverse, which means that Tom's Peter's identity is the focal point of the spell because he was the only Peter Parker at the time of the spell. But at the end of the movie, he asks Dr Strange to make everyone forget him, causing the spell to complete it's cycle since it applied specifically to only his Peter in the first place. Proof is that Dr Strange tells Peter that "they are coming through because of you" meaning only Tom's Peter's identity needed to be reset for the first spell to stop.
@@Oros-LordofCinders ik I think that this movie is the best when it comes to excitement and hype but this story and whole movie is just avoidable by switching a few words
When it comes to Electro, he died in TASM2. He mentions how he was pretty much one with the grid before being overloaded. No way does he get recruited later on to be part of the Sinister 6. He would have remembered that. Maybe he learned of Peter's Identity when connected to the grid, becoming one with all data and connected with Peter or Gwen's cellphone etc. I dunno.
Oh yeah you right, i totally forgot that he died cause i was so invested in his explanation. But it could still make sense tho, since he said that he was at the point of being pure energy then died. So its like he is now just energy, therefore could be easy for someone to just revived him.
But Electro didn't recognize Peter when he took off the mask. If he was really connected to the grid, he should have surely seen a photo of Peter and even then this theory about the grid is just us making excuses for the filmmakers.
One of my biggest problems with the story is why didn't Dr Strange just wait to listen to Peter's request for the spell before conjuring it? We already know Dr Strange was quite empathetic towards Peter's situation, yet he never tried to give him personal advice first? Kind of strange of Dr Strange to act worringly towards Peter yet blame him for ruining a spell that caused rips in the fabric of time
Good Point. I totally thought it was going to be a fake spell and Strange was going to do a Christmas Carol/Its A Wonderful Life thing to teach Peter a lesson. Seems extremely irresponsible to cast such a powerful spell based on the whim of a teenager.

Also, Electro said that right when he was pulled from his reality he was absorbing data, some of that data could have been from some secret database that had Spiderman's identity listed. Just another possibility.
@Miles Doyle Neat stuff, yeah yeah - but just, remind me what He did, during the Inquisition, exactly? What were His priorities, and was he distracted, or not? Who was loved there. And who puts a world into jeopardy in the first place, with inadequately educated stewards, or ill prepared ones, and gives a rat's arse what a nutty angel thought of Job? Give it some thought, or try elsewhere, thanks.
My personal Theory about Electro is that he is still there when Harry and Peter fight each other in Amazing Spider-Man 2. He's made of electricity, you can't really destroy energy; just change it's form. So if he was still running around as ethereal energy when he hears Harry figure out that Spider-Man is Peter Parker... boom.
You should consider that perhaps: One’s perception of reality, itself, is what creates it. It can be argued that people’s view of reality IS the fabric of reality. This is because it is unknown whether or not reality exists independently outside the perception of one’s consciousness.
@@vwchampTube That would be super cool if it was in any way correct. The universe exists whether we perceive it or not. All of reality does not function by the same properties that quantum mechanics do. Observing a rock does not change it.
Electro was explicitly pulled from a moment when he was about to blow up. The combover being gone might be from how he transformed from an energy being back into flesh - becoming sort of his own mental image realized.
@@The_MEMEphis No, there was logic. His teeth got fixed when he got transformed, and his entire demeanor changed when he became Electro. When he arrived in the MCU, he was still energy and was turned back into flesh. The Lizard comments that he used to look different. It's pretty clear that becoming Electro has changed his appearance, and that was the case long before this movie.
I think that Strange’s original spell is still in effect, meaning as soon as people start to realize Peter is Spider-Man again, the world starts to collapse again. So any hopes of everything going back to the way they were before NWH might be dead on arrival. It’s best that the amount of living people who know be kept as close to zero as possible.
Here is what I believe. In No Way Home, Electro says he had no idea how he got there, he just followed the change in electricity, because the electricity in the MCU was more powerful, so as the shift happened in the multiverse, he just followed along to the most powerful force he could feel.
@@who7950 He ONLY says "this much power" in reference to the Arc Reactor. While referencing the universe's power, he says it feels different and that he likes it.
The best part about writing these movies is when you make a mistake, the fans fix them for you and all you have to do is say "yeah, thats what happened"
My wife actually came up with a good question. So after the spell that makes everyone forget Peter Parker...does that apply to MCU Peter only? Or does it also apply to Tobey and Andrew as well? Do people in their universe forget who Peter Parker is?
@@beckybickersteth2320 he said it only affects tom, which is why everyone was coming into the mcu universe. he said specifically “everyone will forget YOU across all universes”

So, in theory, if the haywired spell caused everyone that knew Peter Parker was Spider-Man to come into the same universe, regardless of them dying in their respective timeline/universe, wouldn't that mean that Tony Stark and Mysterio could have come back?
No because those people are dead. Time doesn't correlate between dimensions. That is established. When pulling from another one you could pull from any time. That's why all the people from other dimensions were pulled from different points in the timeline.
@@mattiaserra1179 No. They died at some point in their universe. From the perspective of the MCU they are both alive and dead, as one universe reaching into another can reach any time. The people dead in the MCU are just dead.
Electro said in the movie that he was taken from the point where he was absorbing energy fighting Spider-Man, so he couldn’t have been taken from a future point
Right?! I thought that was super obvious but Peter also said Idk when asked how he’s doing it instead of saying it’s my tingle. So I figure Ryan is right and it’s spidey sense but throughout the multiverse. Which works bc Venom has a similar trait and Spider-Man and Venom have always been two sides of the same coin
We can clearly see the wavy curve thingies coming out of Peter's Astral form. I rewatched the movie today after watching Ryan's breakdown and noticed that.
I noticed one when the 5 villains were talking to each other after they'd initially been captured: Max calls Connors by his name, and Otto doesn't react. In the original Spider-Man 2 we learn that Curt and Otto were friends, so you'd think that Otto would be surprised to learn that the Lizard was actually someone he knew
The only thing that I'm still unclear on is how did Otto know that Norman was Green Goblin when he first showed up? Because the secret of Norman's identity what drove Harry to hate Spider-Man, since he and nobody else knew that Norman was a super villain.
The only explanation: after the funeral, Peter told Harry “don’t watch the news. Like ever again”. While he made a promise not to tell Harry, that didn’t mean he couldn’t spill the beans to the rest of the world.
The Electro pothole answer: Gwen was yelling Peter a bunch and I'm pretty sure Electro heard. Even if he didn't he was gathering data where he probably found out in there. As for the change in appearance , it's because he literally became pure electricity and could reincarnate his physical form however he wanted to look like. Apparently Max liked the Jamie Foxx drip so he came out with the fade and shape up. All he was missing was the sneakers and Supreme clothes.
It's also not a stretch to say that Harry mentioned it. He does tell Peter (Andrew) when he's cured that he knew Peter was a kid from Queens, but assumed he was black.
@@Charliezard7 If you remember, when Max fell into the tank and got zapped by the eels, the energy (laughably) fixed his teeth. So on some level, he can make improvements on his physical appearance. It's weird, but is technically canon.
I believe the 2 spell is much simplier to explain: it affected space and time, just like the first one, which picked every enemy at a different time and brought them to the same time, in a different reallity. So, it erased the memory of who Peter is in each mind from the point they would know him for the first time, so that person would not create any kind of information about him. I think thats the only way to make it a "clean" spell. His new suit, in the end of the movie, is a rite of passage and pays homage to the other 2 Peters who saved him from a dark path. It has both logos. Questioning the Stark tech owning Otto's tech is kinda silly: Otto great achievment was almost creating a car-size reactor... Tony created the Arc Reactor from random parts. Cmon, guys.
Well i mean it's Tony vs. Otto cmon bruh. Tony is way more inteligent than otto will ever be. I mean I don't see Otto with a multi billion dollar company that specializes in breakthrough technologies in his universe😌 so
@@devingarza7573 Even then his tech being able to absorb the Nanites they encountered for the first time was a great touch. It shows what Otto could make if he wasnt so focused on the sun in the palm of his hands. Afterall, He has 4 giant extremely durable robotic arms, with perfectly adaptable AI, and doesnt suffer from lack of energy at all. Nor suffers from their weight, which means they are not as heavy as they would be. Ofcourse he is not as smart as Tony, but he would be one of the closest to contest him IF they worked on the same field.
@@Kronosfobi and, Peter had to develop shock-proof webbing to even FIGHT Electro. And powered up Electro was beating them up quite a bit... But Otto's arms, created to survive the harsh treatment of the SUN, a mass of Heat and Electrical Energy, just effortlessly dealt with him. Goblin could only cut the arm by attacking the joints
There is one where Sandman says he saw the news of Norman as the Green Goblin being killed by his own glider but that makes no sense because his death was kept secret from the public. Spidey carried his body back to his home and Norman had a proper funeral where Harry didn’t even know his dad was the Goblin until SM2. And even then it took SM3 for the butler to tell Harry that he found out that Norman was killed by his own glider. And this is definitely the same Sandman up until the end of SM3 because he’s initially cool with the Spidey he thinks he knows. As for Electro, that also doesn’t make sense he knew Peter was Spidey. This is not an Electro that lived to find out Spidey’s identity later on because his memories revealed to himself that he was about to die at the same end fight from TASM2. Everything up until that point should have remained the same.
The writer clearly didn't watch the first five movies when making NWH, which is wierd cause as a fan I watched all five cause there's a chance they'll show up.
Also Electro said he was absorbing data, which means he could've absorbed that Peter was spiderman. As for the plothole of sandman knowing that he was impaled by his own blade not sure where that could be covered. They all could be variants as well, pulled from different universes so it's possible sandman could've been made aware that Norman was impaled. There's not a crazy ton of plot holes in these...
Not sure if this counts as a question or not.... But since Tobey & Andrew are technically part of the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse.... Does That mean Spider-Man (2002) is the very first MCU movie ?
The only other thing I'm wondering is why exactly Flint Marco couldn't just return to his "human" appearance at any other point in the movie and it's only once he gets cured that he regains his true appearance again. I guess a working theory I have is that maybe the spell pulling him into the MCU might have destabilized his molecular structure enough that he couldn't fully form himself to look like his true human form, the humanoid looking body of sand was probably the best thing he could manage in his then-current state. If my theory about Electro is plausible enough, then this case probably works on a similar basis, only in this case it doesn't necessarily suggest that Flint was on the verge of dying, as the spell didn't seem to discriminate between "doomed to die" and "still alive" as long as the people knew who Peter was. Flint's unstable form just would have been a byproduct of the spell as opposed to some other event going on in his original universe.
I really like your interpretation about Sandman, it’s a good way to explain that issue story-wise. Outside of the movie, however, I’m pretty sure the reason for him to be always on sand form is because the actor could not be present during filming and just recorded voice lines for the film. That shot of him being cured and back to his human form was an archived clip from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3, specifically the scene where he fights Spider-Man in the subway.
Or, it was simply a visual thing, a way to make the scene of him getting cured more impacting, as we would be finally seeing his human form again. Adding to this, there's another important reason, aging and cgi, it doesn't makes sense for someone like Sandman to age! And it really seems like they used CGI for his human form at the end of the movie, I think this makes a lot of sense.
Actually the actor who played sand man never showed at the set. They had his voice from last raimi movie and they used those old footages in this one when he was cured. Rest of the time he walks and talks is totally CGI. When I first saw him getting cured and returning to his human form i was shock about how similar this footage is from the previous movie but actually its just a footage from previous movie only there were no new shoots for sandman
Electro's keyword is he was "absorbing data" before he realized that he was in MCU. It maybe a forced writing, but it was meant to explain how Electro gained the knowledge about Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Just re-watch Amazing Spider-Man he figures it out way before that... it's right in front of everybody's face you'll never believe you missed it once you see it Gwen Stacy calls Spider-Man Peter right in front of him
@@Charliezard7 he knows peter and gwen personally before all that... you dont think its that hard to figure out after that even the expression electro makes after tells you he just figured out something big.
Another answer to 11:39: When Peter was interfering, he said he still wanted his *best friend* and *girlfriend* to still know his identity. Both Harries (Harrys?), Mary Jane, and Gwen fit this description to some extent, which is possibly why they didn’t appear.
Only plot hole I didn’t understand was when Dr. strange sent everybody back, why was there a piece of venom stayed behind. Wouldn’t everything disappear
Venom consumes matter and creates more of himself. The blob left behind could be actual matter from the MCU that Venom had ingested and turned into more of himself, and when he was sent back the MCU created Venom material could have stayed behind.
The problem with your Electro explanation is that Electro specifically talks about what he was doing before he got pulled into this universe and he was describing what we see in amazing Spiderman 2
If im not mistaken, what he asked for in the end, is that everyone who knows him will forget him.. not just him being spiderman, but forget about him entirely so all of them wont know him.
At the end, Peter asks if Strange can make everyone forget Peter Parker This means everyone would forget that Peter Parker even exists, because the spell to make everyone forget who Spider-Man is under the mask can no longer be performed, but a spell that makes people forget the existence of the man under the mask would do the trick
13:16 my running theory is that the writers looked at the scenes in which electro Gobby and Oc and sandman are taken, let’s use Oc for example. And in the moment he has Peter by the neck Peter talks to him and Otto regains his sanity. I’d say that hypothetically oc is taken in that moment and then later placed back immediately in the same moment. Which would match up to him regaining his sanity and destroying the machine just as that universe history intended. Which would avoid any splits into alternate timelines. Same can Apply to electro. Sadly he is sent back right at the moment of his death so any new information he has is pointless Bc he explodes anyway not disrupting the timeline. And sandman was done being evil by the end of Spiderman 3 he never even truly was. Maybe he was taken from the same point of time as Tobey and just sent back normally and now cured no longer a villain- not interfering with any timeline. And for Gobby maybe he is take right before his glider hits him and immediately placed back right in the same moment the “oh” right before getting hit. He dies and only cares about saying don’t tell Harry as his dying wish with his regained sanity. As for lizard a bit tricky maybe something similar to Sandman how he’s now cured and no longer a threat. He is in the nut house anyway so anything he might say about the multiverse would be ignored and time could continue not disrupting Andrew’s time line. So the only ones retiring with any knowledge that can do anything would be Tobey and Andrew and that wouldn’t disrupt any time lines Bc they were taken from their present in their universe. Not the cleanest explanation but that’s what I’m going with as the alternative is a bunch of alternate timeline mess
Unlikely with the Green Goblin one. His suit appeared undamaged when he showed up in FFH, so he must have been taken earlier. If he was taken right before dying he would not have had his helmet on either. Not to mention, having the villains that Peter sacrificed so much to save just die again anyway would be a rather sad ending. Besides, there's an infinite number of timelines, adding a few more where the villians don't die wouldn't hurt.
This is one of those situations where rationality causes us to think without empathy. While your logic might make sense, it literally takes away the entire second chance point away from the movie. A better suggestion would be that there are four new universes where the villains continue to live happily and Tobey and Andrew get to continue being Spider-Men in their original universes with the satisfaction of having saved their old friends who turned villain, and having mentored Tom's Peter to overcome his dark time and become his universe's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
I have possibly another theory about Electro... He states that the electricity/power was different in the MCU. Most of us forget the fact the Stark decided immediately to stop production on warmongering assets, but the arc reactor already existed before Tony was kidnapped and held hostage. Given the years that have passed, it very well could be implied that newly refined arc reactor technology could power some, if not most, of the world in this "present" timeline. This newly acquired energy now surging through Electro could be the catalyst that changes his form as well as his new color from blue to yellow. Not to mention the reactor he stole: he felt that energy already and was immediately drawn to it. That tech provided Electro constant energy rather than having to syphon the power grid and possibly help regulate his powers for better control and performance. And as for his new persona - Max was confident in his own world. He simply didn't have the courage to stand up against his superiors and co-workers. He was already use to being stepped on and overlooked. If you were given "god-like" abilities, wouldn't you want to be seen? To be heard?
I didn’t consider Electro to be a plot hole although I was wondering how he knew Peter Parker was Spider-Man. This guy does a good job of explaining it fully
i'm sad that venom wasn't a big part of the movie, he's my favorite character but hopefully he will get to be in the spotlight during another marvel movie
I have a huge gripe with the ending. If the multiverse can forget Peter Parker, then the world can forget Spider-Man. Starting from scratch as Spidey makes a lot more sense than starting from scratch as Peter.
Wouldn't work. The problem was that the spell was drawing people who knew Peter Parker was Spider-Man. If you made everyone forget Spider-Man, then the spell would still draw the same people, but instead of them knowing that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, they would only know that Peter Parker is someone who they know. The key element was the Peter Parker identikit.
@@DmonHiro I wonder if that's true, because of the credit scene with Eddie Brock.. I don't believe he (nor Venom) knew Peter was Spiderman... which makes me question if "knowing Peter was Spiderman" was really what was pulling them to this dimension.

Was the name of Flash Thompson’s Book “The Flashpoint” a reference to the DC Universe Flash’s the Flashpoint where he reversed time and all that jazz to erase or correct events?🤔
Just watched the movie a second time. I’m pretty sure you can see venom during the initial spell casting scene when it breaks reality. In the same sort of spectral form like you can see Kraven and Scorpion at the end.
Venom is a Multiversal being. Every Venom across the entire multiverse share a hive memory. Venom in the second movie even tell Eddie they have 80 Million Lights Years of Hive Multiversal Memories. Venom was there because Toby's Venom knew his identity so all Venom on some level know.
@@werejustgaming is that true? The only way they could make sense is if knull is a one of a kind being , like there isn’t other version of him , since darkness exists everywhere.
Just a thought... If Venom (Tom Hardy's venom) was brought over to the MCU because of the symbiote hive mind, doesn't that technically mean that 'all' venoms could have been teleported into the MCU as well? Meaning more than one version/variant of Venom was present during the events of No Way Home?
This event is basically like a 'snap'. Anything that comes into the MCU would be a result of the snap or this multiverse pull. They could literally use this to piggyback off anything, xmen, etc. Im still hoping for a real Taskmaster lol
The very big missed opportunity on marvels part was when Peter was mentioning the avengers. Another Peter could have understood and said "oh like the x-men".

Also he probably wanted to avoid getting sued by using Stark Tech. I’ve rewatched Toby Mcguire’s Spiderman and it seems like both Doc Ock & Peter definitely knew who Dr Curtis Connors is as he was just a regular professor in Toby’s universe, not a lizard. But in NWH, Doc Ock doesn’t seem to react to that name when Electro mentions it during the dungeon scene.
Good catch. We can probably explain that away with, do you remember everyone's name that you have ever met? A little dumb but it would explain it. Doc Ock being who he is, he probably met hundreds of people a month.
@@Stellermeerkat Is that enough of an interaction to distinctly remember the man? I agree it isnt perfect but it isnt unreasonable either. 2 other layers, first, if he did remember dr connors, but does this one look VERY different, and it is a common last name, so we could go there as well. Second, the idea of a universal cannon here is problematic for many reasons, so these might no be EXACTLY the same spidermen we know from the previous films, but rather alternate SLIGHTLY different ones. Now this is the most boring explanation but since they never outright say which earth from the multiverse the characters come from, we cant know for sure if these are the ones from the previous franchises. Again I hate that explanation so I am fine ignoring it, but is worth mentioning.
The spell from the end of the movie just made everybody forget who Peter Parker is. It’s literally how it was before anyone knew he was Spider-Man, although this time around the people that already knew him don’t know who he is at all as if they never met him. That’s it
For Electro, I heard the argument that when he was taken it was from when he was absorbing a huge amount of data. There’s a good chance he learned who Peter Parker was and how he was related to the person who created the Spider experiments and that he’s the only one who could be compatible. So there’s a good chance that he deduced in that moment that Spider-Man was a kid named Peter Parker without having any knowledge of what he looked like. Although said data could have consisted of photos of employees as well, but then relatives could always be adopted or he could simply not have absorbed that data yet. We don’t know what kind of knowledge an electric being could gain by absorbing data and at what rate.
I remember in TASM2 where Harry showed Peter photographs of him in one of the Oscorp files. Maybe Electro could have found out that Peter Parker was Spiderman as he was absorbing data from the power grid. Furthermore, the power is owned by Oscorp which makes it possible for Electro to find the photo of Peter.
As for Electro. He's perfect because he turned into pure energy and back into a human. This got rid of his physical shortcomings like the supersoldier serum with Steve Rogers. He isn't a variant or from a different point in the timeline, he explained in the movie. He was taken during the climax of AS2. He says something along the lines of "I was in the grid, I was absorbing data, I was about to become pure energy". He absorbed some data that revealed to him Spidermans real name and in that moment he was transported to the MCU. He never found out who Peter Parker was, just that that's who Spiderman is. That's why he didn't know he was white
That doesn't make sense. Harry Osborne didn't learn that Peter was spiderman till after Electro died. So he wouldn't have put that data into the Oscorp net, till after Electro died. And if there is just soooo much data that Electro somehow figured it out on his own, then a photo of peter would have been included in the data. It's just a plot hole. Not a big deal.
@@godxavior we're talking about an evil mega corp. You think they have all the data about Peter Parker, but somehow never got his photo? They definitely had it, since didn't Peter have an oscorp ID badge? If electro accessed Peter's personal data, it would have included the photo.
I think there is a misconception about Electro saying he thought Spider man was black, if I remember correctly he just said that he thought Spiderman was black, it could just mean that prior to learning who spiderman is, whenever that did actually happen, he thought he was black, so for all we know he did discover the face of Peter Parker when he was connected to the grid, and on the scaffolding he was just telling this misconception he used to have when he was ignorant of that fact.
For Peter not having his Nanotech suit at the end of the movie, my cousin actually mentioned something I thought was interesting. After Strange wiped any memory of Peter Parker, Peter would lose the Nanotech suit since when Tony made it, the suit knew it was designed for Peter. So, now not having any memory of him, Peter would lose access to that suit, therefore making his own once again.
Not necessarily, it was designed for Peter but also for his alter-ego Spider-Man, so some things may still work for him on the basis that they recognize him as Spider-Man but no longer know his name is Peter.
they aren't living organisms so the spell likely doesn't apply to them. i certainly wouldn't include them in the word "everyone" that Strage uses to explain the spell to Peter. If the spell does include them somehow, then I agree with your comment completely
@@Greennoob2 considering that there must be video or paper new that say peter is spider man i'll assume it applied to everything that involved identity

Why would peter, a genius, not ask Dr strange to make everyone forget what Mysterio said? Why would strange make everyone forget peter instead of spiderman? The list goes on. I'm so livid
Because Peter, the child, was more concerned with being Spider-Man having such a negative impact on his life. It wasn't just this situation that bothered him. Dr. Strange, an adult, told him his problem was that he wanted it all and didn't think too far ahead on how to get it.

No you're wrong, Spider-man said "Now Gwen! Now!". Gwen didn't say anything.
Just watched that ending. Electro literally opened his eyes as soon as Gwen said Peter before running in the building
And Electro is INCREDIBLY intelligent! He could easily put two and two together!
So from my understanding, the reason the other Mary Jane/Gwen, Harry and even Aunt May from the other Peters didn't show up is because Strange removed them from the spell, to Peter's request.

@Mel G A lot of people didn't come, only a few made it. By the end more were coming and it could have been literally anyone else.

He even did say something like "he liked him better before", so he probably actually intended to fry the chip.

Thankfully the newer inhibitor chip has much better electric resistance

@@JacobBen94 i mean his healing factor revived him from literal death in the comics...
@@dariusbrock2713 which version ?
Also the stark suit won't work with him anyway as he, as Peter Parker, no longer exists.

One of my biggest questions was Electro knowing who Peter Parker is… this is kind of a stretch, but they explain it in No Way Home in the same scene they talk about coming to the mcu earth.
That’s not smart writing, that’s an assumption
@@solitary2 I think they mean that the one line (the moment before he was pulled into this universe, he'd been dumped into the power grid and was "absorbing data.") that was put in NWH explains how he knows peter parker is spider-man and why it was directly before he exploded.

I really hope not. So messy
Think of it like the TVA pruning that Peter Parker. All memory of that Peter is erased.
Granted, magic can be pretty blase with its "purpose" as per writer's arguements.
thats a freaking good question
I think not. It was Holland's Peter Parker identity that caused the problem and attracted everyone in his reality. Everyone that knew who Peter Parker was to their universe were attracted to MCU universe because the spell had as a parameter Holland's Peter Parker identity that was exposed. Dr. Strange wouldn't need to apply the spell for the multiverse. Even if he did (and could), the spell would work for Holland's identity specifically as this was the main problem. The worst case scenario is that other Spidermen and ex-villans would forget about Holland's PP identity.

Could also have to do with the "hive mind" thing that got them here in the first place. That race could still exist in this universe, so while the spell sent all of Venom that was connected to Brock away, it could have left the bit that was separated since it's part of the alien hive mind.
Everyone that had some sort of relation to Spiderman/Peter. That glob of Symbiote didn't.
maybe another venom offspring
Venom is a Multiversal being. All Venoms across the Multiverse share a hive memory. Venom told Eddie about it in second Venom film. Toby's Venom is the reason they knew who Peter was and the suit breeds by replicating itself. Its a birth of a new venom
The ending feels like a hard reset . He ends up in an apartment listening to a police scanner with his regular suit .
11:25 And during the final fight scene, Ned tried really hard & was trying to force the portal to shut but he couldn't, further proving your point
Why couldn’t strange make a spell that made everybody forget about what Mysterio did that way Peter identity would have never been release?

Wait wait no, cause if he was revived then he would've remembered. Oh yeah it doesnt make sense lol, his explanation is wrong
But Electro didn't recognize Peter when he took off the mask. If he was really connected to the grid, he should have surely seen a photo of Peter and even then this theory about the grid is just us making excuses for the filmmakers.

Kind of strange of Dr Strange to act worringly towards Peter yet blame him for ruining a spell that caused rips in the fabric of time

Because the movie is badly written.
The only explanation: after the funeral, Peter told Harry “don’t watch the news. Like ever again”. While he made a promise not to tell Harry, that didn’t mean he couldn’t spill the beans to the rest of the world.
The Electro pothole answer:
Gwen was yelling Peter a bunch and I'm pretty sure Electro heard. Even if he didn't he was gathering data where he probably found out in there. Apparently Max liked the Jamie Foxx drip so he came out with the fade and shape up. All he was missing was the sneakers and Supreme clothes.

@Dylan MacBride The 2nd No that's THC.
They probably couldn't get the original flint lol even when he turns back to normal it's just the same scene from spider-man 3
Actually the actor who played sand man never showed at the set.

The problem with your Electro explanation is that Electro specifically talks about what he was doing before he got pulled into this universe and he was describing what we see in amazing Spiderman 2
even if everyone forgets that Peter is SpiderMan, isn't Ned still Peter's friend? Wouldn't he have recognized him?
If im not mistaken, what he asked for in the end, is that everyone who knows him will forget him.. not just him being spiderman, but forget about him entirely so all of them wont know him.
At the end, Peter asks if Strange can make everyone forget Peter Parker
This means everyone would forget that Peter Parker even exists, because the spell to make everyone forget who Spider-Man is under the mask can no longer be performed, but a spell that makes people forget the existence of the man under the mask would do the trick
I too believe that, like you said all past villains either had a moment to repent of sort right before they died...
This makes a lot of sense really.
Honestly I would agree but Doc, Goblin, and Electro would be looking very different from when they showed up back in their timelines
Electro hears someone call Andrew Peter at the end of Amazing Spider-Man movie
electro said he was "absorbing data" before he died
i'm sad that venom wasn't a big part of the movie, he's my favorite character but hopefully he will get to be in the spotlight during another marvel movie
More than likely, considering marvel opened up to multiple possibilities and a piece of venom did stay behind

@@kevinglusing3797 Oh yeah that’s right, that could be it. But damn I’d like to imagine a whole lot of venoms in one film. That wld be crazyyyyyy…
that was happening at the end, when doctor strange said he couldnt stop them
This event is basically like a 'snap'.
Anything that comes into the MCU would be a result of the snap or this multiverse pull. They could literally use this to piggyback off anything, xmen, etc.
Im still hoping for a real Taskmaster lol
@@slayerbot1394 instead we got task mistress brainwashed wanna be master
The very big missed opportunity on marvels part was when Peter was mentioning the avengers. Another Peter could have understood and said "oh like the x-men".
I don’t think any of the peters have the X-men in their respective universe
Was really wishing someone said, "Oh the Ultimates?"
Did Green Goblin's broken helmet remain in the alley after he returned to his universe? Or did it just dissipate as he went home?
I obviously stayed there since the symbiote stayed behind.
@@Sam-uq7co then that would break Peter's heart more. Remember their converstion they had when Andrew was listening.
@@Sam-uq7co Ned asked Peter TM if he had friends, he says "yeah he died in my arms after he tried to kill me" then Ned goes to Peter TH and says that he will never become a villain Peter AG listened and nodded.
Sam :) I’m sorry but Ned becoming hobgoblin is the dumbest thing ever
@@drzaious8136 I hope they don’t do that. Ned being a villain would be very stupid
Bro I think you nailed the explanation of how Venom came to the MCU. Like the moment he reconnected to the hive mind, Bam.
I thought that Peter stopped using the Stark Tech suit because he couldn’t. The spell that Strange made at the end also made technology not know who Parker is which is needed for the Stark tech suit
Peter was smart enough to hack the suit in Homecoming.
That makes total sense… Thanks for that
@@LordShrub They only took the training wheels off. I'm sure he couldn't be in the suit if the suit didn't recognize him.
Also he probably wanted to avoid getting sued by using Stark Tech. Without Pepper knowing him all agreements wrote on Peter Parker's name probably stop existing and if they were made on spiderman's name every cosplayer could go and take anything since the world doesn't know and can't confirm who is the real Spiderman
@@LordShrub The suit was made to let him unlock everything eventually. I am pretty sure if it was Ned or anyone else Tony doesn't know trying to do that he would have half of the S.H.I.E.L.D barging into his place in 5 minutes
I like how it took Peter back to his beginning with no stark tech. Just a poor man barely making ends meet. Taking pictures of spider man and selling them.
The whole venom thing makes so much more sense now, the moment he reconnects to the hive he gets pulled in
@Miles Doyle tl:dr
@Miles Doyle did you have a stroke?
I’ve rewatched Toby Mcguire’s Spiderman and it seems like both Doc Ock & Peter definitely knew who Dr Curtis Connors is as he was just a regular professor in Toby’s universe, not a lizard. But in NWH, Doc Ock doesn’t seem to react to that name when Electro mentions it during the dungeon scene.
Good catch. We can probably explain that away with, do you remember everyone's name that you have ever met? A little dumb but it would explain it. Doc Ock being who he is, he probably met hundreds of people a month.
@@alanhersch4617 That doesn't work because Otto and Curt do talk to each other. Curt even told Otto about Peter. "Brilliant but Lazy".
Or this electro could have simply come from a universe where he knew that Peter was Spiderman ...
@@agentlongwood No data is ever stored anywhere without accompanying photos? You can't say there would automatically be a photo
@Deadbrother
Best theory for me.
That makes sense, the same would go for edith or any ai(s) designed for peter
@@piyushshedke9735, true!
Thanks Ryan / ScreenCrush, you're doing a better job than IGN in handling No Way Home's supposed plotholes.
Also ned had plenty of dificulty using his magic towards the end of the film soooo... he's not exactly a prodigy, it just took a sorcerer's sling ring to reveal his potential
Also, kids are just better at learning new things.
I agree completely but movies gotta movie.
