We're Eamon and Bec, a Canadian couple who previously lived and traveled full-time in our self converted Sprinter Van!! When the pandemic hit in 2020 we made the difficult decision to abandon our van in Africa and fly home to Canada. Now we're here... living at a cabin in the Canadian wilderness! Things are coming to a close after nearly 1 year of cabin renovations. As we prepare to head back to Morocco to rescue our van, we need to pack up the cabin and ensure it's winterized before saying goodbye for a few months!

We've always envisioned moving into the woods by the lake and building our dream tiny cabin as a home base for us to come back to in between our international van life travels. While we are looking forward to rescuing our abandoned van from Morocco, we are so so grateful to have this space to call home!

I went back and watched their “leaving Morocco” video as a refresher. I wanted to see the van again BEFORE they go back and see what state it’s in…..I was hit hard with a flood of unexpected emotions. LEE WAS WITH THEM. Im not sure how I forgot, but she was with them when they left Morocco and now she’s unable to go back with them. WOW. So much can change in a short 20 months ❤️ I’m sure her spirit followed them and will live on forever in all their adventuring days.
Yes, Lee was with us when we left Morocco and then we quarantined with her for 2 weeks at her parents house. I think it’s safe to say they were some of the happiest days of ours lives despite all of the madness and change that was happening across the globe. We know she is with us every step of the way 💛✨

When I was in the military I learned the meaning of very hard work. Job one after basic boot camp skills and conditioning (that is a story in itself)...anyway the main focus was keeping everything in a high state of cleanlyness all the time. Not weekly or every few days but constantly. Nobody was exempt from this. Everything was kept constantly in top shape.
This made me super emotional for some reason. Watching your channel seriously helped me so much during several lockdowns, anxiety about what was happening in the world, etc. seeing you two go off to where if all began is kind of like closure in a way. Idk sorry if that makes no sense! Looking forward to seeing trinity again!

I would have kept it the business parking lot. Critters may homestead under the hood. Mark my words - the docks will move in a big snow storm. Happened to friends of mine. The docks ended up way down the lake. I hope they don’t move but…

I cried at 16 mins watching that last sunset. Be grateful, which I know you both are, our truck has been in storage now too for 20 months. We were just talking last night how much we miss our overlanding life. We just can't get out of NZ..so post as much as possible. Why did seeing you back in trin make me literally cry? These last two years have been so crazy and going back to trin is like a sign everything is going back to normal.

After watching your videos for years we are ready to take the plunge and buy our first van. A 2011 Mercedes Sprinter 170 with 203K on it. It's largely because of you! You wintered in Toronto and we are from a small town about an hour away - Elmira (near St. Jacobs). I have already lived on both coasts but want my hubby and I to travel with the van comfort lifestyle. It comes certified and is already fitted out with a composting toilet, propane stove, water pump - even a recycling shower! It is registered in Ontario as a motor home. What should we look for/ask before laying down the funds? Thanks for any assist on this. We love your journeys and homebuilding - in Ontario!!!! ps - safe travels - Mnm
I really hope one year you guys will experience the winter on the lake when you don't have to do any work except enjoy the peace. It is the most peaceful environment ever!!
Definitely have to clean the van and car before you put them in storage for the winter. You don’t want to come home to mold & other messes.
I don’t know why - but seeing y’all back in Trin gives me so much hope!! (And of course you had to tease us like that haha) it’s been a rough year and a half, full of loss for you both and myself as well. I used to hate winter until I bought my cabin in Northern Ontario 16 years ago, now I find I love winter. The solitude and silence of winter in the forest is amazing, it’s so quiet you can hear the snow fall.
You guys make such a fantastic team! When he kissed you and said “thanks for letting me try” with the docks it just melted my heart. ❤️❤️
Even in such a time crunched situation I know that trying one of Eamon’s crazy ideas is probbbbbably worth it 😜

Packing and unpacking are such a chore that it almost (just almost) makes me not want to travel. That is one of the most attractive aspects of vanlife! You rocked it all, the way you always do! I can't wait to see your Moroccan adventures!!! (It will be interesting to see how Trinity stacks up against Casa B! )
I have to agree with Bec about cleaning before and after, it's mainly to avoid a worse case scenario like bacteria growing or critters coming in. it just makes the jobs easier the next time your cleaning.

I started watching your videos a few years ago and I feel like I've experienced all these major life events with you. I'm so happy you are both still making videos to share with the world.
Another fun video! I can imagine how difficult it must have been to say goodbye to the cabin and all your toys for the next few months...and so soon after you finished the kitchen! I'm looking forward to the reunion with Trinity and your upcoming adventures. Once again, Bec, you remind me that it is important to tell my partner when he does something (even a little thing) I admire or appreciate. It's noteworthy how you let Eamon try things even if you think it might fail because it shows your level of trust AND it demonstrates your belief that, no matter the outcome, y'all are probably going to be okay. My partner and I have been together for almost 23 years and we have that sense of security and fearlessness with one another...that no matter what happens, we've got each other, so go for it (whatever it is). I saw that teamwork and adventurous trust between you guys in this video...or maybe I just read too much into the video. Ha! I don't care, you guys are relationship goals. See you Sunday!

Watching you guys with your dock and sea-do caper...it reminded me. Having grown up on a lake in Ontario, I could picture all of the neighbouring people spying with their binoculars saying (affectionately) "What in Sam Hill is that fool ( or crazy bugger) up to now? " You are the neighbours everyone wants to have . 😁

Guys, what you manage to accomplish in a day is beyond me! You’re crazy awesome, and always so full of enthusiasm and energy. I love it. Cannot wait for next week. You/we have all waited a long time for this Trinity reunion… and the snippet at the end of this video made me cry.
