They could build a amusement park for badgers out of sticks and baking soda and I would watch it. 🥰
Can I get in line for this now or do i need to buy a ticket? 👍
LOL SO TRUE!!!!!🥳😊🎊
Me too!!
ESPECIALLY the badgers, they need amusements.
so would I :)
Van life was so much fun with y’all, but I gotta be honest, I’m lovinggggg the cabin, cottage, homesteading vibes that y’all’s videos have now ♡ and even more than that, I’m so happy you are on your way back to a healthy happy normal!! ♡
same
So glad they have this safe space to enjoy each other during this battle!
love watching your journey

Hi RUclips :)
yoooo youtube hello
why is youtube here
Idk why are they here
why ain’t nobody talking RUclips is here
The paw prints where Osso walked on the outside of the pool need to be sealed in and preserved forever. Osso is the coolest dog, he needs his own feature video!!! 🐶
Thanks Adrienne! We do love our Oso! 💛💛💛
just the sweetest boy!!💗🐶
ok
@@eamonandbec I hope you’re a foster fail and keep Osso. He’s such a good match for you two. He soo loves you both
Congratulations on becoming official dome owners! Keep growing, thriving, and inspiring. Wonderful to see you happy and healthy. 💚🌱
Thank you friends!! We appreciate you beyond measure 💛🌞
Hi! Ben and associates! Loved watching you help and advise
@Arctic Acres, do the domes do okay in Northern Alberta winters? We get -40s and -50 with the windchill. I’d love to be able to grow in the winter!
Loved this video!!
@@016krystal That's what these domes were designed for! There are Growing Domes in every province and territory in the country, and we actually started in the territories working with communities and charities looking for new ways to combat food insecurity.
We pack each kit full of passive heating features and accessories, the geodesic shape itself assists in climate control creating both a greenhouse effect and igloo effect from accumulating snow acting as insulation. At the moment provided there is 4-6 hours of sunlight, before any electricity or supplemental heating is added Growing Domes can self-heat upwards of 20-25°C above the ambient temperature. When you include additional passive heating systems like a GAHT system or solar vacuum tubes (which we have been testing), you can increase these effects even further.
We'd still recommend supplemental heating for extreme weather, but our domes are tundra-tested and we welcome the challenge!
Bec, this is the happiest I see you in a long time, and Eamon was goofy as he usually is again, it make me feel the contagious joy that you transmit to everybody, guys you are invincible.
ok
A garden to heal the body and soul, love it! They do say talking to your plants help them grow, whether it's the CO2 you exhale, good vibes, or you just tend to take better care when you love and talk to them. Zucchini is amazing for beginners, but don't plant too too much as each plant produces a ton of veg! It's usually the one gardeners are trying to give to everyone because they have so much haha. There's some really cool stuff on making mini arch trellises for growing beans or peas in beds, might be worth a look! They look cute and beans are great for preserving. One thing my mom has always done, and her mom before, is you try to preserve or freeze a little of each thing you grow. Then on Thanksgiving, you break out all the years harvest for your meal as a celebration of all you grew. Cannot recommend it enough.
Health stuff is hard enough but the fact that you guys continue to persevere and find good in the bad is really inspiring and it’s helping me as I deal with some health issues this year. Thank you guys so much ☀️
Sending you positive thoughts to you on your health journey. 🥰🤗
@@eamonandbec 100% agree with what Ivy said...same here. And Bec, you look great - healthy and happy! We are preparing to take our next steps into pursuing a homestead and it's super scary going into the unknown, but you guys are truly inspirational to us as well! Love and prayers from the states :)!
Hi Bec! Just finished my first year of planting and here’s some things I learned: 1) keep the seed packets. Sometimes you have to plant and then once they start to sprout, thin them out. 2) lettuce is definitely easy to grow. 3) you may find slime mold in your beds. Super weird but it’s not harmful. 4) you don’t have to use ALL of your seeds at once, actually spread them out. 5) look up companion planting (lettuce, spinach and strawberries together to increase yield). 6) geraniums are your friend and will keep critters away.
Greenhouse looks incredible! Great work ❤️❤️❤️
Also look into succession planting so you stagger the harvest over a period of time.
I can picture grow bags all along the front and middle of this neatest greenhouse!!
companion planting is a huge bonus in space like this. Umm, what the word, biointensive gardening? I think is another. Its where things can really grow well together because they dont steal nutrients the other needs, but their roots are also at different levels as well so they dont crowd. It also keeps down on pests, (most pests show up to eat sick plants. Thriving plants produce a "chemical" that repels pests). You probably already know this, but just in case. Love that you brought this up S R! I was so happy with other things It just went over my head but this is super important. Also, if you look into old native american crop rotation it'd keep your soil happy!
A good tip for beginner gardener is to pick vegetables that you know you will eat. After that you can start slowly adding new vegetables to try.
Bec... Ben got to see you at your best, you just got done kicking cancers ass! You are so beautiful and Eamon is one lucky guy. Eamon keep up te good work and spirits, you have been doing great from this angle of RUclips.
I COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED TO WAKE UP AND SEE EAMON AND BEC IN MY FEED 💖 We miss your regular uploads and are so happy to see both your beautiful faces again, wishing you all the best and much love xxx from Bowmanville Ontario
As an organic gardener in the past 3yrs this makes me so happy that you guys are doing this. You will LOVE the garden therapy for years to come. 💖🌱💖🌱💖🌱
May I suggest the following gardening channels I learn tons from ... The Rusted Garden, Gary Pilarchik & Plot37, Jessie
Also Roots & Refuge!!! My top favorite channel. Jess makes my heart explode.
And Acre Homestead.
I never comment I'm very shy...but I have been watching your channel for years now. Infact Max and Lee's channel was the first thing I ever followed on RUclips. That was all the way back when you had met Max and Lee in Morocco. They led me to the the two of you. I love you guys ! I've been struggling with mental illness for many years now and watching you all and seeing how brave you all have been over the last few years has done me immeasurable good.
I'm so happy for you Bec!! I've sent out good thoughts for all of for years now.
I finally felt I had to say to all of you Thank you!! Seeing you guys and Max together again was very emotional and very joyful. Have a wonderful time together. 🙋♂️❤
Bec - you're looking very well. Good to see that radiance returning. Keep the fire of positive mental attitude burning brightly.
Glad to see you guys back! You guys are an inspiration to many people, building things while fighting cancer takes so much power I can’t imagine. So happy Bec looks good and healthy and winning.
Thank you so much!! Hope you enjoy this geodesic dome series 💛
I am so happy to see you guys back again, my wife and I love like our children. Bec, you are an inspiration and all young adults need to take lessons from your strengh and humility. Eamon you are a pillar and a inspiration to what the modern day gentleman should be.
So many things to comment that you did RIGHT! Excellent!! Inspirational. Bless.
I've been growing my own food now for over 20 years. My allotment and greenhouse is my sanctuary and safe space ... your gonna become addicted to growing everything you can when you feel the excitement of picking that first vegetable that you grew ... enjoy enjoy enjoy .. the best thing in the world to healthy mind ❤️❤️
We all start gardening not knowing, you'll learn as you go. You have the internet, in the 70s we didn't. Lol. Love you guys!
Start your asparagus need soon. Research it because you don't want to harvest for at least one full season.
Bec , you are doing so good, I had my first chemo Thursday, rough at 65 . I am determined to do this !
You can DO IT! Thinking of you and sending so much love your way as you navigate this journey 💛
@@eamonandbec chemo would be more fun if cancer cells screamed as they die!
Wishing you the best in your road to recovery. Stay strong!
We are continuously inspired by your amazing energies and grateful attitudes! So happy to call you guys our imaginary friends ☀️
"If it were me it would take all day though, oop theres a crinkle!" Literally made my day lol i totally agree
Bec you look gorgeous, looking forward to all the new adventures to come; wishing the best of health to you both going forward. Lots of love.
This is pretty exciting, guys. Bec, you look awsome! May I give you some advice about your zucchini in particular? When planting zucchini, it is important to leave plenty of space for the individual plants - about 1.5 to two meters each - because zucchini grow very large. As soon as the seedlings get their first leaves after the cotyledons, you should separate them, you will often read or hear the expression pricking out. And don't worry about your harvest. On average, up to 20 fruits grow on a zucchini plant.
This!! zucchini is a big plant!
Also pokey! So when you do have them too crowded you have to keep up on removing leaves and getting their thorny hair in your hands and it's not my favorite garden task. 😫
Yes, this! Wear gloves when you mess with them. They get little prickly things on them. Also.. if you don't want them to go all over stake them so they can grow upwards.
2 seeds will make a bountiful harvest! I used to garden all my fruits/veggies and can/freeze/preserve, etc. But I never grew zucchini because every single neighbor would and had 5 gal buckets to give away constantly! They take a huge amount of space and strongly suggest having them vine up on a very strong trellis!
I remember an old gardening saying that I read in one of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s books ; While planting seeds in spring , Pa said “ One for the blackbird , one for the crow, and that leaves two to grow!” Obviously not a green house “ saying” but a timeless gardening saying, so I suggest saying it while planting certainly won’t hurt anything and could only only contribute to the vibe! Your greenhouse is so exciting! Looking forward to seeing the progress!
Bec you’re looking more beautiful and healthy than ever before !!
I am so happy to see the card board to-do list are back. This means Bec is getting better! I know this has been a tough year for you both!
❤ Bec you look radiant and beautiful! I’m so happy that you are doing so well! You are an inspiration to anyone out there going thru anything with their own health. Love seeing Eamon and Oso having fun together. Eamon and Oso are super amazing and so supportive! You are truly blessed by them and we are truly blessed by all 3 of you!!❤️ Y’all’s greenhouse looks amazing. I love okra and cucumbers, not sure if you planted those but would be a great addition to the rest of your delicious looking veggies! On a more serious note, I’m going in this Friday to have a mammogram as they recently found a lump in my breast. No matter what happens I’ve drawn strength from you and your journey, and I would love to hear from you and any advice/support you could give me in my journey I’m about to go thru.
Wishing you the best of luck, and healing energy
Best of luck 🤞🤞🤞 and 🤗🤗 hugs
sending love
You can plant spinach really densely. Like grab a handful and just scatter them a little, then sprinkle soil on top.
Epic Gardening is a great gardening channel, and has been so helpful in my learning
How wonderful, the best, and yes all the plants need and will love your ❤️...they pop...thing that really matters is combine the fruits, some grow well with each other and others don’t, some love water some don’t need it as much. Learning demands researching, goals, seasons and climates....I grew up in the environment of such a resource. Mom was always cooking from what we had in the garden and I loved working with her. They became a part of myself ... nature is a blessing from Heaven ...enjoy your special place💫🤗💯
Getting the soil correct leads to optimal harvest. Most plants 🌱 need at least 6 hours of morning sun ☀️ I hope you have allowed for this. Make sure and get great gardening books from authors that grow organically in Canada in your particular growing zone. Research, research, research and learning lead’s to years of satisfying enjoyment while feeding yourself from your own garden. I know you can do it, you two are amazing. Big Love ♥️♥️♥️
Grow lights if there isn't sufficient sun!!
Ahhhhh omg Bec seeing your hair growing back fills my heart!!! I am so happy that you are healing and so proud of you for being so incredible and strong!! You are such an inspiration!! Sending you so much love always
A tip on filling raised beds: you can fill the bottom with things like logs, sticks, and wood chips. You only need the good soil to go as deep as the roots of your plants go. Eventually the stuff on the bottom will break down.
And don't forget to add compost every year to amend the soil.
Speaking sweet nothings to your seedlings is absolutely the best way to grow a garden. I learned all my growing knowledge at RUclips University and experimentation. Tomatoes might be a struggle if they are indeterminate. But I usually wait to worry until it’s an issue. Being a gardener is a lot like being a mom you worry about your seed babies not growing and then before you know it they are two feet taller and causing ciaos. Happy Growing!!
The greenhouse looks amazing! Growing in a greenhouse is a little different than growing outside, but I watch two channels that are crazy with information for eating healthy and growing you own food. They are, Off Grid with Doug and Stacy and Homesteading Family. I just ordered a fermenting book from Doug & Stacy and I am excited to get started on my new journey of fermenting some of our produce. From our garden so far this year, I have canned chili starter and this weekend I will be canning salsa and spaghetti sauce. If you want to make sauces and the like, stick with varieties of Roma tomatoes, they are "meatier" and thicken up nicely.
Also, herbs!! So far, I have dried oregano, sweet marjoram, parsley, thyme, rosemary and dill for the pantry. I will dehydrate our peppers for use in sauces and also make sun dried tomatoes and tomato powder that can be used to thicken sauces and make paste for recipes. Also, basil... I dehydrate some and I also make fresh pesto. You can also freeze pesto to have fresh in the winter months. There's nothing like pulling pesto out of the freezer in January, it tastes like summer!
I suggest that you find a little sunny spot on your land and plant garlic this fall. Order from someone that grows organically in your climate for fall planting. This will ensure that it will survive the colder temps. Weed in spring and enjoy sauteed scapes in late spring/early summer (if you plant hardneck- softneck does not scape) Then, harvest your garlic in the summer. You can freeze garlic up to 6 months in a deep freezer in an airtight container, I use canning jars. I also dehydrate some of my garlic for powder for seasoning. There is nothing like homegrown garlic! So much more tasty than store bought!!!
If you plan on continuing to garden, I suggest that you buy a large dehydrator. It's defiantly a game changer when it comes to preserving your harvest for use in the winter months, especially herbs, garlic and peppers.
I know it's a lot of information but I'm so excited to see you excited about growing your own food!!!
I would do a few different types of tomatoes. A slicer and a couple of different kinds of Romas. I'd also do your lettuces and whatever herbs you use on a regular basis. Just remember, all seeds are not created equal! Get heirlooms if you are able to. Then, you can harvest seeds from your own crops and reuse those next season.
Start small this year and add a little more next year.
And Bec, you look great!
Happy gardening!
Wow! Beautiful comment and so insightful! Thank you
Hey! Just a little tip: put just 1 or 2 seeds every 10 cm (depending on the plant) so they have room to grow. Cheers!
And then remove the weaker looking one (if you plant 2 seends next to eachother and they both grow).
Nice tips
Greenhouse looks epic! We're very jealous! One hot tip. Add Worm Castings to the top layer of your soil. Super infusion of nutrients...really does make a difference.
Also, if you haven't watched "Biggest Little Farm" you've missed out! Cheers and good vibes for Bec's amazing recovery!
My heart is so happy seeing this video I have missed you guys so much and it's prefect timing I just broke my leg and had surgery to repair the break and nothing better to lift my spirits put a smile on my face then the warrior princess and her sweet prince
So happy to see Bec is recovering nicely & that beauty smile is back. Ben is awesome!
OMG SO BRAVE FOR PUTTING THAT SPIDER ON YOUR HAND! The dome looks great! You both are an inspiration to learn more and do great things to better our lives!
You look amazing Bec, I am excited to see your garden. Remember gardening is not so complicated but its always a learning curve. Sometimes overwatering or giving to much love can be a thing also, but talking to them and showing love that way is always a blessing :). When they are just planted seed they need to stay moist so water them daily or atleast make sure they are damp. Once they sprout you can start slowing down on the water and as they progress depending on how your moisture content is inside the dome just read the soil by placing your finger in the soil and if its damp no water, if its dry water :) Do not worry to much about seed depth but depending on seed size you will learn the depths. Small seeds you plant just above the soil and larger seeds you plant further down. You will do great. I always just read up on how to care for certain plants because some plants like different things. Like more water, part shade, full sun etc. I think this is wonderful for you guys :) oxox You should try zucchini cake :) its a delicious way to get rid of all your zucchini. You can also grate your Zucchini and freeze it in portion sizes of one Zucchini for the recipes. Just an Idea so you can preserve it. You can also place it in compost if you decide to do that. So many options yay LOL :) I will leave you guys my special recipe when it is time :) Sending you LOVE!
@boli milda Agreed :)
I used to grow myself but can't now but I thought I'd let you in on a trick of mine. The squash I grew I would dehydrate and grind to a powder then make bread and all kinds of great healthy food. You will end up with so much more than you can use so you come up with all sorts of ways to use your food.
Get ready to be doing the canning too. Need space to store it all too. You will be set to live off your grow for a very long and healthy life. I wish nothing but the very best for you two. You both are looking so much more at peace now too. Love you both and can't wait to see and hear more from you.
Bec - you are looking beautifully energized! Good to see that light in you
Being able to see regularly posted videos makes me SOOO happy! I sorta quit RUclips for a while except for the E&B update videos, I'm glad to be back, as I'm sure they are too ❤
Eamon is baaacck 2:27!!! 😂🤣. And Bec is baaaack, which is the best!!! Lovin’ the geodesic dome! Oso is hysterical…he is the best! ❤️
Music helps plants grow as well. Totally love your green house. It looks amazing.
I get so emotional seeing Bec. I’m so happy she is doing well I love watching your journey. Thank you so much for sharing You both are such loving and kind hearted humans. ❤️
You’re doing great gardening!! An idea to expand your space a little…. Get a few large planters/decorative pots for the center or outside of the main beds. Use the planters for things that spread more. Like mint or onions.
A few decorative pots would be adorable and it contains some plants from over taking the other plants. Even tomatoes would do great in the containers.
Love you guys so much!! Blessings Always!!! 💛💛💛
Oso makes me so happy. Every time.
Eamon, make Bec a dibble board! 12x12” board with holes 1” apart. She can use pegs (dowels) for whatever spacing & depth she needs for her seeds. Once the pegs are in place, she can place it peg side down to make her holes for seeds!
You'll have what feel like setbacks, but you've already proven yourself fully capable in that regard. You'll shine and give us all joy as you delve into gardening. There's no feeling like feeding yourself healthy food produced through your own efforts. The more you learn, the more self-sufficient you'll become. And all that is before factoring in the tremendous emotional and spiritual benefits of digging in the dirt and nurturing living things.
How inspiring! Thanks for those wonderful thoughts! 💛💛💛
Love the green house. But most of all I want to say god bless you Bec. You absolutely amazing. Truly beautiful ❤️. Happy to see you in amazing spirits. 🤗
Gardening is one big experiment! There are lots of flowers you can plant to attract beneficial insects. I always plant loads of marigolds and nasturtiums in my greenhouse. And the bonus is that nasturtium flowers are edible and delicious!
That greenhouse looks like a great place to just hang out and enjoy some peace and serenity!
being nice to your plants and loving them makes all of the difference in the world! you're going to be an excellent plant mom
I love that you’re surrounded by earth angels! Great build-will definitely be worth its weight in food which is far more valuable than gold currently!
As always, sending you two, Bob and Tim warmth and love from Lancaster, PA.
I love how they left the dog prints on the pool the little touches ❤️
Bec! Best advice for growing. The only seeds that will not grow are the ones that don't get planted. Enjoy growing goodies! Also Jess from Roots and Refuge has a great book for beginners.
Long time fan here. I had eight biopsies taken this week, and thinking of you and your journey was like having a much needed guide. I thought, "If Bec can do all she has, then you can handle this!" Fortunately, I got good news, but it was quite the scare. Thank YOU BEC, you are one amazing human! Can't wait to watch this video now.
So happy to hear you had good news! 🙏.🥰. Glad my journey could help in some small way! Wishing much health and happiness! 🥰🥰🥰
@@eamonandbec I hope for the best for you two too, every, single, day. Thank you!!!!
Sending positive energy to you guys, always scary to go through health issues but I have no doubt you'll come out the other side, and Bec, your absolutely gorgeous, hair or no hair, it's your confidence and personality that make you who you are, not a few silly locks of hair... ;)
The way I tell whether I watched an episode is if the thumbs up had been smashed! Plus, recognizing the content, and thumbnail.
I am one of your biggest fans! I absolutely love 💕 both of you and your amazing, nice, kind, loving personalities along with your families and friends. You both are so amazing.
Looking good you guys!! I began growing 💗 a garden during the Pandemic. Kept hearing about food shortages. I grew tomatoes, squash, corn, cucumbers, sunflowers, peppers. All successful. In little garden in Mexico. My key was grow seedlings in egg like carton or small decomposable planter first. You water and give sunshine. No over feeding. When sprouts emerge and are a couple inches tall, replant. Companion gardening is great. Pick a couple gardeners you like online 1-2. I also read Martha Stuarts Gardening book. So beautiful ❤️. Tomatoes were best I've had in my life by far!!! By the way, i also have gardening outfit hat dress, shoes. So healthy ,so rewarding, so gorgeous. You can pass it on to kids, grandkids . Very memorable. Heres to you having a wonderful garden journey!!! Almost forgot, pests, i use note soap mixed w water. It's safe for animals and environment and marigolds. Good luck!!
You guys are awesome! Bec, you look adorable with short hair, long hair, no hair, whatever😊❤️ You both are so upbeat and optimistic and that is contagious! Thank you so much for sharing your journey.
Aww! Thanks so much for your kind words Belinda and for being part of our journey! 🥰🥰🥰
That is an impressive greenhouse! Nice to see Tim again and Ben was awesome. Bec, I’ve read that if you plant lettuce seeds every 10 days, you will have lettuce throughout the season. Loved the last shot of Eamon in the pool. Hugs to you both.
You two are just amazing!! Bec… you are so beautiful inside and out!Eamon…. Such a great guy!! Another great video.
So many days like this make me think and wish what if Lee held on one more year she would have been having a blast with y’all on this beautiful land!!
You guys always make me feel like I can do anything i would put my mind to
And so you can Nina! Thanks for watching! Have a great day! 💛
@@eamonandbec thanks you too! Also I love your short hair Bec! It looks Amazing on you
I'm so happy your new episode came out . I've been waiting!😀😁
Also TIMS back!!!
I suggest making a gravity based drip watering system. This will allow you to control any nutrients you need to add and very simple to incorporate. Hook up a battery based timer for the valves and you have daily watering based on the schedule you set, and the plants will love it. Basically you set up a large tub about 3 feet above your watering level, hook up a hose that then goes to a drip distributor, and then run the drip lines to each plant or row.
Greenhouse looks great. I love Orso I do hope you will keep him forever he deserves a home and he is use to you both.
I love you guys! You're amazing, inspiring, strong, determined and above all else, loving souls. I've watched you for years and I will continue to watch. I wish you nothing but the best and hope that life gives you all the joy it has to offer. xoxo
Thanks so much Kate! 🥰🥰🥰
Yay! I’m glad to see you guys back at it!

Omg! The way I gasped when I saw Tim!! Missed him! 💓
My pup is always supervising any projects we do too!
Loved loved loved this video! Has a gardener myself I think what you guys are doing here is so important ! And may I just say I screeched a little when I saw time, pure joy. Sending your seeds babies good growth vibes ❤️
Here's a hack for you, go buy the veggies you like to eat, and save the seeds, plant them and eat what grows. Also, it looks like you have space to install a round planter in the middle. and certainly not least or last, It's so good to see your feeling better Bec, I hope the rest of your life isn't blessed.
Keep in mind that saving the seeds doesn’t always produce the same veggie. Plants grown from hybrid seeds will revert back to one of the parents and can lose all the beneficial traits it was produced to have. Many gardeners who save seeds will look for heirloom varieties.
also a lot of the seeds from grocery veggies will not grow/sprout.. to test simply do some paper towel germination
@@Tantrumspam Very true. I never save seeds from veggies or fruits bought from the grocery store because it’s a crapshoot. Even if they do germinate and grow, sometimes they don’t produce.
As a struggling gardener with a brown thumb and a short growing season, I enjoy planting lettuce, spinach, etc. Anything that doesn't have to be pollinated (a challenge in a greenhouse) or that you can start to harvest as soon as it's big enough.
It is so satisfying and rewarding growing your own produce. We are in Perth Australia and in the process of turning our Aussie backyard into our dream urban homestead and I am documenting our journey to self sufficiency on my RUclips channel
Hey there! Thank you for posting. This channel just brings me joy and I always look forward to seeing what fun you get into. bec you are looking gorgeous queen and Eamon you are a handsome genius 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
First and foremost Bec, your hair is beautiful. What an awesome greenhouse. Best of luck on your flourish garden. May it bring you guys an abundance of plentiful food.
I like Tim and all your neighbors. You guys are the best. Looking good Bec. You’re looking good too Amen and very cuteness.
so good to see your beautiful face smiling again Bec I just love you guys.
Brilliant to see this take place. Love the paw prints on the pool. Bec, you're looking amazing and the pallor associated with illness is dissipating. Well done Eamon. From van live to self sufficiency. ✨️
This was amazing to watch Bec you have your sparkle back brought tears to my eyes so great to see. Sending love from 🏴
your hair has come in so nicely Bec glad to see you feeling more like yourself x
My favorite thing I’ve learned since starting a raised bed garden is planting food scraps like lettuce ends or green onions or even potatoes is extremely easy and produces a lot more than you would think. One potato produces at least 6 underneath it!!!
Awww what a beautiful life you're building. Stay well
I’m so proud of you! It looks amazing! I started growing my own produce in the beginning of this year. So far I harvested Cucumbers, zucchini and tomatoes and potatoes, leeks and bell peppers are growing as well.
Making Garden labels out of old white plastic yogurt containers is one of my favorite garden crafts and they never fade
Loooooved this video! Felt very old school see you Sunday and I am hear for anything that’s putting those smiles on your faces!!! 💕
Growing tips I've learned: Take your seed spacing a bit serious. You'd be surprised how big some crops can get just off 1 seed. You can plant a few zucchini seeds in 1 spot and remove all but the healthiest one if you'd like, but definitely don't go hard on the plants that'll eventually get much larger. Remember a romaine head or a red lettuce head looks a specific size in the markets? Give them that space to grow. Take your time giving them water. Test with your finger an inch down to see if the soil is dry. Some newbies like to over water, and that can kill a plant as much as under watering. Try not to water leaves too much, or else you end up with potentially getting mildew and that can kill the plants.
There's a boatload to learn about gardening in general, but even more to learn about your own personal garden and how it flows. I've been using this 1st year as an experiment as well, and I've already learned a ton about the garden. It's a bit overwhelming at times, because you want to see tons of food come out of it right away, but it takes time.
I was thinking that too
Wow, I was looking forward to this a LOT! Let's go!
Bec, Congrats on making it to the end of your cancer journey. We know it was a long rough road.
God Bless you all. Take time to heal. Love and prayers.
they look so good already!!! tbh i was feeling a bit depressed before i put this video but you guys give me LIFE i love yo both lots and bec i loved your cute hats and gardening outfit, you're making me wanna plant some stuff but idk what does well in august hm
I love your dome! It’s very cool and something I am going to keep in mind should I ever get a property big enough to build one. Great job; nice to see Tim back! 🧤As for planting, I am not a gardener per se but I am interested in such things. There’s great guy- a high energy RUclipsr by the handle of creative explained. He’s got tonnes of videos about growing seeds from plants and kitchen scraps PLUS, how to make your kitchen scraps into excellent fertilizer. He is a high energy guy - kinda like Eamon. I think you’ll like him and get great tips! Bec, you coming in to talk to the plants DEFINITELY helps. 😊 Love to see you in the vlogs slowly but surely flourishing again, and thriving just like your lovely seedlings. 🥰Stay well friends.
