“Today I’m running for everyone who can’t run.” I’m one of those people, so thank you, Bec. I often resent recovery stories like this because that’s not how it happened for me. My cancer treatment triggered a muscle wasting disease and I had to stop exercising because it was just breaking down muscle faster. It took 5 years to stop the muscle wasting and 2 years to get strong enough to start physical therapy. I’m on my 5th week now.
I often have dreams where I’m running through the woods just like in this video and it’s been so hard waking up back in a body that can’t run 5 feet. Thank you for sharing your mindset throughout your 30s. It’s made me feel so uplifted. I may never be able to run again, but hopefully I can have the same mindset shift toward gratitude for my body and what it can do. The world is a better place because you are in it, Bec.

I am there with you. My recovery story Is more like yours then Bec’s, but it really touches and inspires me to see her recover so strongly. I finished my cancer treatments as “cancer free” but was left with with several problems, one of them a lymphedema on my leg due to the damaging effects of radiation on the lymph nodes on the bottom of my back. It is not easy but I’m trying to get my self out of bed and back to the swimming pool and training again. I will not be able to run as my left leg is heavier than the other but I’m a swimmer, have been a swimmer my entire life and in the water the workout feels automatic and is much lighter to me. We have to find what make us move. I need energy to get myself to the pool at least 3 times a week. I need inspiration to move myself forward and, today, Bec’s challenge inspired me a little bit more.

When you trust in God and cast your cares (worries, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts) upon him, they will be NO MORE!
Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! His name casts out demons and heals!
The world is wicked, evil, and of the devil.
I too, was a wicked sinner of the world before I opened my heart to God. I am living proof of God's work and fruitfulness! He is an active God who hears the prayers of his! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous. The devil is a liar that comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy; that includes your relationship with God.

"Lee's here in spirit for sure." As a runner and a long-time follower, I teared up at this moment just thinking about all you guys have been through over the past couple years. Running can provide us with so many things: strength, mental well-being, mindfulness, meditation... This is why we run. This is why the sport is so unique. It's not about how fast we go, it is truly about what happens between the start line and the finish line. You two are a prime example of what it means to enjoy the journey and to make every moment count. I am so moved by you. Thank you for sharing your hearts with us

    • @narsakucanada154

Last year with no place left to turn I prayed to God in repentance then begged for help with all my heart, "I was until then a lifelong Atheist."
I then had a dream of Jesus coming before God and he spoke of the Tabernacle in perfect context, "A word I didn't know existed because I've never read the bible", and the love I felt from Jesus was unlike anything I've ever felt before - A lifetime of joy every second - It brought me to sobbing and it changed my life forever.
I've had other miracles since, a few being a light turning on in answer to deeply needful prayer 6 times, seeing a orb of light hours before a major surgery, seeing an Angel in a dream the night my mother prayed for me to see one, "Without telling me", and so much more.
Know that God and Jesus ARE real and that they love us deeply. Let go of your hatred and Imagine yourself holding the people who've hurt you. Tell them you love and forgive them and I believe we should do our best to follow, "I've failed many times", the 10 commandments.
Always have hope. I believe that love is the answer.

May I just tell you: You DO look strong! I had a huge smile on my face the whole video, and when you said you don't see yourself as that strong Bec you used to know, I did not understand at first. Because you looked so strong, not just physically, but mentally. In your eyes, your smile, your dedication and your will to be healthy. I'm so happy for you and I don't even know you, but seeing this part of your journey was amazing. And just know, if you don't feel like the Bec you used to know, it's probably because the Bec now is much stronger and wiser and that's different to before, but not in a negative way ;)
PS: I've never commented on a video before, but I just had to :)

I swear everytime I watch a video of yours there is some sort of weird synchronicity. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis a year ago. A diagnosis that I had to fight for because Drs dismissed all my symptoms of pain and fatigue for about 6 years.
Now that I am a year out of surgery/treatment, I have bought a home with my incredible partner that we are renovating, and I have finally decided to put my health as a priority. Before diagnosis, exercise was a huge task and I avoided it because it exacerbated some of my symptoms. A few days prior to you posting this I was challenging myself to get into changing my mindset around movement and excersize so I signed up for not 1 but 2 5ks a month and a half out. I started training but it felt like I couldn't get prepared in time and almost gave up in the first week.
And then you posted this video, and it was the inspiration and boost I needed to stop making excuses. I wasn't super consistent in my training plan but thinking about you and your determination helped me keep going.
Just yesterday I participated in the End Endo 5k where I raised about $300 and I completed the race in 34 min which was a whopping 2 minute improvement from my training days. Thanks you for being you and spreading so much joy, love, and compassion, I truly feel like I know you - thank you for letting me in you life. I hope I can be that for those around me as I spread awareness for Endometriosis. 🌻💛 Shine on!

    Bec,
I dont know that you'll ever see this comment, (probably the #1 reason i never comment)....but I've watched this video about 15 times.....i watch you, Kinging it and Kara and Nate daily....sometimes that means watching the same video on repeat for a week. It started as inspiration to be more positive and to get the inspiration to start a RUclips channel. It then moved to just feeling the energy from all of you, the absolute joy from Kara and nate, the amazing relationship you and eamon have and pushing myself to have a better relationship with my own husband, the absolute raw, emotional, amazing honesty from Craig and Aimee....and now I put the 6 of you on, on repeat on days like this. My husband and I got sober over a year ago and gained A LOT of weight in the process of getting healthier in the sober aspect of life....recently I lost my 58 year old father to a heart attack because he didn't take care of himself at all. His autopsy report showed he already survived 1 heart attack, had signs of diabetes and was just overall not a healthy person.....my little brother turned 13 the day before our dad passed and I said I would do everything on my power to take care of myself for my brother and my children and husband.....and when I wake up on days like today that I don't want to get out of bed, I don't want to clean or meditate or do yoga, I don't feel like being positive or pushing today......I turn on a marathon of you guys.....about 15min into this video (for literally the 15th time watching it the last few weeks) I heard you talking about how sad you were that you didn't look like the strong, fit bec you felt like you looked.....and then around minute 23 when yall mention the owl and Lee.....I remembered the owl I see DAILY since my dad passed and how I hadn't seen it today, so I grabbed my yoga mat, bundled up and went to the back porch to get out of my head, do some yoga and meditate....and I kid you not, at 4pm on a cold, Colorado Christmas eve, that owl flew into the tree next to my backyard, made a hoot and flew away.
Long story long......you, bec.....even frail, just out of chemo, pushing yourself the hardest you probably ever have and being vulnerable and brave enough to post it to the internet, were the reason my 4 month journey of becoming a healthier me didn't come to an end. You were the push I needed to not let anxiety, depression and negativity win today.
I hope you and eamon are having the most beautiful holidays together and enjoying every second of them.
Thank you for being such a beautiful, amazing, positive soul in such a dark world.
You are such an inspiration. 🖤❤️🖤❤️

PLEASE DMSO AND GET IT AT AN FARM SUPPLY, IT IS THE EXACT SAME AS WHAT MANY DOCTORS AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES USE ! Remember cancer only can grow in a acidic and low circulation area and from there it can spread. Cancer forms a protective shell around it and DMSO dissolves that shell so your immune system can kill it!

We love your positivity and transparency, like you said not everything will be rainbows and butterflies. I look forward to your videos so much for inspiration. I’m on a journey myself as I was in a near fatal car accident years ago that left me with a broken leg, broken knee, shattered pelvis, dislocated hip and a ton of nerve damage. Took me a year just to walk again and I found myself giving into depression and comfort in food, Before I could even realize what I was doing to myself and my body I had gained so much weight and now that I’m in a WAY better state of mind I struggle to not give into this negative thoughts, BUT Honestly I watch you guys now and even go back to past videos of you guys and your positivity and laughter and love just keep me grounded and pushing myself and I’m slowly getting myself back and even though it’s the beginning and I have a long way to go, here comes Beck and reminds me not to listen to those negative thoughts and see things in a better perspective, a more positive way of seeing things. You don’t know me but I will forever be grateful to you both in ways I may not ever be able to explain. I have so much love for you two and thank you for being yourselves and helping me find myself again in the process. 🫶🏻

Dear Bec, I've never commented before, but I just wanted to say that this, your journey through one of the worst things has been truly inspiring. I heard the word cancer years ago and it just stops you dead, it chills you and it can either motivate or destroy. I can't even begin to imagine the reach that your sharing has had, the positive impact your sharing has had on others. So many channels only show the rose coloured glasses, but you've shown the brutality and you haven't hidden away, you've embraced the side effects and shown so many how to be proud. You're a beautiful woman, I can understand the shock at losing your hair, but know this, long hair, short hair (which I absolutely love on you, it suits you so well), medium hair, wig you still look beautiful. Thank you for sharing this, it could not have been easy. And Eamon, good grief man your support has been beyond outstanding, few think about the partner in all of this. Both of you, tend to you, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually and if one day, you feel crap and can't understand why, because after all, you won, this is often part of the cancer journey too, it's ok to feel crap emotionally, but seek the help to understand and deal with this, doing it alone is no fun. I wish you both a life filled with much love, health and laughter. P.S Lee would be so proud of you,

Bec, you are such an inspiration. We’ve seen your struggle. We know it hasn’t been easy for you, and yet, here you are. With so much love and support, you’ve made it through and are ready for the next chapter. May the years to come be illness free and bring you the gift of children. May each day be full of the joy and pride in knowing how strong you are. Three weeks ago, I had a mastectomy. These weeks have been challenging to say the least. One thing I’ve learned throughout these many years passed, watching the women in my family battle cancers of their own, is there are a lot of warriors walking among us. Today and every day, no matter how I feel, I find myself being grateful and hopeful and positive. I chant: cancer, you are not my friend; I did not and will not invite you to stay; you have no home here and must leave; I will not let you back in. Bec, your journey will make my journey better. Stay strong, keep smiling, and I can’t wait for your badass to nail the next challenge! ❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏼

There may be days where you feel as if you did not accomplish as much as the previous day. That is okay. Although it is good to chart your daily progress, at the end of the week, simply assess where you were a week ago and where you are now. That's when you can really see the progress. It's easy for the strong to be strong. True strength and bravery shows through when you've been beaten down and are able to pull yourself through it. So in case you haven't figured it out yet Bec, you are stronger now than you've ever been. Full of admiration for you and so happy to see you smiling again x.

Bec you are amazing! I’ve watched your entire journey, I’ve laughed and cried with you every time from the diagnoses, the ringing of the bell to 5 KMs! Lee is definitely watching over, he’s so proud of you. I wish for you only strength, joy, health and happiness for both you and Eamon. Sending love…
