Have you tried brake clean? That was recommended for removing the old adhesive for the vapor barrier on the inner car door. Didn’t work amazing but did kind of loosen some of the glue
I just picked up the 3M adhesive remover and it’s not really what I need. I’ve got a “pinstripe removal wheel” coming tomorrow. That rubber wheel looks like a good bet especially for large areas as long as you’re careful and don’t burn the paint.
I will have to try the alcohol. Thanks for sharing.
Hope it works for ya.

It does work, but you need some more elbow grease.

@ it is a great tool
WD-40 works really good and will not damage the paint.
I’ll give that a try on the next one.
I'm a fan of WD-40 too but am going to try some 99. Another great video thanks. More Tundra videos!
Use cooking oil or any kind of oil. I heard that Murphy's Oil Soap is good too, but I can't confirm that.
What would work best with heavy duty tape marks on vinyl window frame?
I’d try alcohol. The 3M stuff might break down the vinyl.
Goo gone needs time to soften the glue before rubbing.
That's probably what it is.
Only for paper decals. It won't soak into plastic or vinyl decals so it's completely useless.
Kerosene works good… 😮
Can you get the same size container 91% alcohol for $ 1.00 at Walmart
Right on
The alcohol is what you use to remove the glue from the inside of a cel phone when replacing a battery
Yup!
The best cleaner is gasoline!
You’re not messing around!
