Great looking pair of boots. I would also prefer a removable insole and have the pull tabs with a bit more room to get your fingers into them. The sole finish is very rich looking and the color combination also looks fantastic. Looking forward to hearing your full review of the boots after you wear them for a bit.
Just got me a pair of Fenoglio rough outs and they were super tight but thankfully they loosened up after a couple hours with super thin socks. They look so good and the quality is great. I agree, I wish the foot liner was removable.
Sorry you found them tight, I had the opposite experience. I wound the fit perfect to my actual size, which is usually not the case. I did speak to them about the insole and they said it’s easily removed, and only lightly glued in. I haven’t removed it because I would size down half a size if I were going to remove it. You may give it a try though.
They're a really fine looking pair of boots. I'd love to try some on. Great job on this presentation! I agree on the make up tweaks you would request. 👍
It’s a great looking boot and I think this toe as a fantastic option that offers more toe room while still not looking like a flipper, which most square toes do. Thanks for watching.
Hey, thanks for watching and the comment, I am not a great reviewer. I feel much more comfortable doing interviews and that’s kind of where I focus but I’m glad you like it. I will try and do some more things that are similar to this in the future.
I have been putting a custom order together in my head for about 3 days. I think I’m up to about 5 pair 🤣. Good luck on the order and let us know what you get, thanks for watching and I hope it helped.
I am with you on that, I am not a fan of the wide square toe. I think a boot should be pleasing to the eye and somewhat resemble a foot. I think the look of the cutter toe and the round toe boots are some of the best looking. Thanks for watching, and commenting.
Got my first pair of Fenoglio boots in March. They're amazing looking boots. Had to send them back to fix a squeak in the shank on the left boot Eagerly waiting to get them back and start wearing them. How are you liking the pair you reviewed in this video? Yours look awesome BTW.
Fenoglio will recraft your boots if they wear out. I have to say they are the most comfortable boot I own, I am very surprised. I was skeptical of the foam footbed at first too, but it is super comfortable. It is more comfortable and offers less fatigue than Anderson Bean for me. The outsole seems to hold up better than Lucchese so far, I love these things and have been putting lots of miles on them with no issues, they have become my go to boot. Side note, I wore them through the airport and they didn't set off the magnetometer, so that's a huge plus.
I was just at the Fenoglio store in the stockyards last week and they have it. The Boot Store of the Stockyards. give them a call. Thanks for watching and the comment.
I really like the narrow square toe , narrow shaft opening and height of the leather stacked heel. It would have been great if you had tried the boots on to see how they looked with your jeans.
That will be in the extended review, this was really meant to be just an unboxing, but I get carried away when I go over the boot with my initial impressions. Thanks for watching, I will try and get that out very soon. I just did a video of how to apply protectant to a rough out boot, these were used for that and the testing on the boot will start tomorrow.
@@aceofspades1542 it’s coming, along with some other stuff. I just had a great meeting with Fenoglio this week and we will be announcing some interesting stuff on our podcast tonight. Keep an eye on our Facebook as well for more information. Thanks for watching.
I am not a fan of the "modern" look of cowboy boots, (Ariat style)...however, I think these look great. I would wear these. Wondering how much the shoe trees are. I fear they are relatively expensive. Thanks for the review...I like the fact Feniglio...is part of old Nacona Boots.
I agree with you about the new wide square toe boots and I don’t like them personally. I will review them because they are very popular, but I will also try and educate those who think it’s the only comfortable boot there is. The boot trees I use are Lucchese and with a military discount they are around the $30 mark, I think $39 retail. I think this is a worth while investment at either price for a pair of boots over $250, I did add some cheaper options in the show description with links though. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for raising the issue of cleaning and looking after nubuck /roughouts

I wear a 11.5 in boots should I go up a size or down?

@@CowboyCartel Yes Sir, I couldn't agree more. Nice shirt BTW Joe. those are fantastic looking boots.
That is a great review and a very good looking boot. I really like the color combination...that light blue stitching looks great! 🤠

Thanks, and they are a fantastic group. I love them, they have become my go to boot. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Most Square toe boots look silly to me, these look pretty good though.

Do you have a follow up on these boots? Did you find them comfortable, any issues? Looking at picking up something similar. Thanks...
With them using a fiber shank and a foam bed will these not feel as good as cork? Will it wear out faster? And can you rebuild these later? Thank you

If anyone talking about Cowboy boots and brings up Ariat. That is a sure sign they have no knowledge of boots at all.
