Met and talked to Mr. Randy Watson, and his son, Ryan Watson. I work at a western store and the attention to detail they have for their boots, at least for the men’s, is unmatched. A cool thing that they do for the shanks in their boots, that I don’t think anyone else does to my knowledge, is that they rivet those shanks in there. They also cover that riveted shank with a rubber or plastic. That ensures that both the fit between different sizes is the same m, and the durability of the shank is increased exponentially. Just a cool little fact that some people might not know.
I had not even heard of R Watson boots prior to a visit to Pete's in Belle Fourche. I had been their prior but it had been many years. I just went to look at what they had after viewing Jeremiah Craig's visit there on the Hondo boot tour. I had not planned to get any more boots. I was handed a pair of R. Watson cape buffalo boots to try on. The fit and feel of R. Watson boots is different than any other of my boots. I have problem feet but these boots really felt good. The gals that helped me were great. They didn't have the color I wanted but they did not hesitate to order them in for me and I ended up buying them in a 1/2 size smaller than I normally get. These R. Watson's have become my favorite boots and now I have a favorite place to shop for them
Man, I tell ya I have always taken boot buying for work seriously, but it wasnt until 3 years ago that I decided to give western boot a try. I got me a pair of Ariat boots and man....they must have been made for feet like mine. Hardly any break in time and durable as all can be. Since then I e purchased 2 more pairs in the last couple years. One for work and one for going out. On top of all that I'm just finding out about this channel in the last week or so.and I'm actually getting excited about boots now! I feel like I can have fun getting good quality boots instead of being so serious about it all the time. Thanks for all the great content, Jeremiah.
Yeah i can 100% confirm that low toe box. I cant wear mine because of that problem sadly. Maybe i need to size down because the leather might be bending in the wrong place Also i cant find a b width. Everywhere ive seen its been all D widths
Both are good looking boots and I really like the cutter tie!And I am excited for another giveaway. Both you and Brenna are doing great work as always!!!
Jeremiah Craig, I have five pairs of pointed toe black cowboy boots. Sendra with eagle inlay, Tony Lama (2) pairs (lizard, solid black) San Diego with extreme underslung heels, and Nacona. All only worn BAREFOOT!
The style is immaculate, I love some punchy square toes and the double color adds a bit of character to an already eye catching palette 300 tho is kinda expensive imo
Just bought a pair of cutter toe ostrich and i wear size 9 but like you guys said, the sizes feel a bit off. When i put the boots on, I do hear the nice thud sound and the instep are feels comfortable, not snug but firm. My only concern is the length of the boot and the heel. I feel like my heel lifts up a bit too much. Should i try a 8.5?
re the weather.....if the wind comes from the east, like in a nor-easter storm, we get hammered and look like Buffalo NY when they are hit with streamers .....We don't get off scott free!
Really like your videos! Been watching for a few weeks now. Really getting me into boots even more! Liked and subscribed and looking forward to more videos!
Great videos review. What I am hearing here is that they have quality control issues. I can’t help but think Watson is just lending his name to what amounts to a branding deal for a manufacturer.
One of the things I most love about cowboy boots is that we ladies actually get the same quality as the gents. That’s not at all common in footwear. So this really pisses me off. Some companies just CANNOT GET OVER the stupid idea that women only care about fast fashion, and have no interest in quality or durability or comfort, but are willing to pay the same amount of money. 😤
Both boots look good. I have a pair of R. Watsons that are a couple of years old and there are made big. I typically wear a 14D but in the R Watson I was able to fit into a 13D comfortably. (note, my are the broad square toe, probably could not wear a 13D in round toe)
" Hello ! The wine looks sumptuous beautiful colors in the video, it reminds me of good Italian wines although some wines from France also have good colors, I prefer exotic fruity white wines, peach wines (leaf maceration peach trees) and others... For cowboy boots, I quite like the Justin line sometimes for the rare models and Nocona for the durable quality and solidity! Now I am looking at other brands of other models.. . "

What a great color for the men's version! I don't usually like to mix colors, but the heel here works really well.

Definitely like the profile of the men's boots and the great quality of leathers used. The shafts seems to fit nicely under your jeans too.
I have three pairs of R Watsons and they are my favorite.

The contrasting counter takes this boot up a notch. Well done R Watson!
I’m in!!
The tour was great. I live in Cleveland and routinely travel to Detroit and never knew about the area you visited.
Had to go a full size down and very well could have went 1.5 sizes down but ordered online and was scared to go down that small.
Perfect extended test for Brynna 🍷
I like the look and color of those boots. That colorful stitching adds a nice look aswell.
Every pair of Hondo, and Boulet boots I found is 6 month lead time..😢 Might have to try something new!
I feel your pain, Brenna… I, too, have little 6.5 feet, and it seems like a lot of boot companies forget we’re there…

Those boots look nice and soft. My kind of boot. Thank you.

I like the couple reviews. Maybe R . Watson has invented the "Pig toe" boot? That is what it reminds me of with the 2 creases in the toe, Ha.
I like the contrasted heel!
Love the color and shape!
Another great boot brand!
So mad you were in my town and I didn’t see you 😂
Honest review. Gotta like that. Greetings from north of the border.
Very good looking Boot 👍👍
Great review and info
Great videos
👍👍
I would love more of both of you so I can show the wife why “we” need more boots 😂
I like my R. Watson's better than my Lucchese's.
Hey man my grandpa is the one who designes the boots for r Watson his name is Steve craig
That’s a real good looking men’s boot

I like your reviews but it seems lately all the boots you've been reviewing have square toes, not my style.
I remember Randy Watson, he was the lead singer for Sexual Chocolate in the movie Coming to America
