I have a little project I'm picking up a c8 Corvette and dropping it in the back of front engine front-wheel drive car converting into a rear engine rear-wheel drive drag car
Without a doubt. Carl is my favorite mechanic on RUclips. He ain't delicate. He is fast and thorough. Great video. Your son is growing up fast. Great to see the whole family working together.
This is not a job for the normal Joe, you're going to need help to do this mod. I found out that Lingenfelter retains the stock heads and CNC ports them plus shaves around 37,000 of an inch raising the compression ratio one full point. They have not found an aftermarket head that is better than the modified stock heads yet.
I'm interested in seeing where & how you organized all removed components. So many parts & fasteners removed, storage & organization area must be large. Could you show that?
Am I missing something or did I just fall for a trap? Watched the video and found it amazing. Then I looked for part II and don't know where you went from here. Am I misreading the titles on the videos?
So this guy can’t just list the mods he’s done gotta do a whole ass tear down to make us guess what he did. It’s people like this that make modders and mechanics look like tools. Smh 🤦🏾♂️

My guess: New heads, cam and AFM delete? And headers?

seems like the table/lift would bolt to the subframe before the subframe is unbolted
Do you have to drop the engine just to remove cylinder heads
Yes, there is one bolts holding the oil tank to the driver side head that would be difficult to get out without dropping the engine.

Please tell me you don't have to take the whole engine out just to replace a alternator on this car or the water pump.
Sweet, I'm going to try this tomorrow!
Add a couple of turbos and it's a Ferrari F40. If you squint.
