Awesome Install video! that makes it alot clearer on how to install headers. Quick question. Do you need to remove any paneling from underneath in order to gain access from the bottom?
I just ordered a set of ARH from Paragon, and exicted to work on this. Can you explain a little more about the access required from under the car? I have a quick-jack 5000, so I can get the car 2 feet off the ground. How tight are the access holes to remove the wires and plugs? Thanks for any additional detail!
The holes are large enough to get both of your arms in there so you'll have plenty of access! Reminder to remove the spark plugs before removing the bolts for the header. - Alex (Paragon Master Tech)
@ParagonPerformance I had a 2015 Camaro SS/RS cammed, no cats, and long tube headers. Never had any problems with the warranty. Chevrolet said that they had to prove modifications caused the problem, should I have any.
Hey I recently bought a C8 Z06 and was wondering if you will come out with Z07 style Carbon accessories for the car. Such as the wing, side skirts, splitter and front canards
Paragon Headers Gain up to 25whp, Eventuri Intake is up to 17whp. Both are great options. Headers gain more but the intake is visible for car shows. Our best advice is to get both ;)
@@ParagonPerformance i definitely want both but that’s a lot at once lol plus I just had an engine bay window installed from FalconDesign (I have an HTC). Do you guys offer a discount if we order both at once?
@@ParagonPerformance Thanks for the reply. I did buy the Corsa headers from Paragon. They are being installed today. With cats. Don’t think it will be finished today though.
I have a few questions Are the headers 50 state compliant? Could I send my car to you to have them installed, or do you have a qualified shop in California to install them? Will it void warranty?
They are not CARB certified. You could send us the car to have them installed but it may be more cost effective for you to find a shop in California. You can email support@paragonperf.com to see if we work with any shops In California. No they will not void warranty.
How long are the primary tubes on your headers? I have a C8 and all the headers I have seen, seem like their primaries are “shorter” than the ones on the long tube headers I put on my C6 & C7Z back in the day. Just wondering!
Hold up. We are not supposed to WRAP the header? Has anyone done a heat management test in the engine bay? Thats a whole lot of heat with exposed pipe?
You can wrap the headers or get them coated if you'd like. We have not noticed any issues or had concerns of the headers being exposed in the engine bay without heat shields.
What is the HP and TQ difference with a full set of headers, exhaust, air filter and air intake? Can you just add them all together or are there diminishing returns?
If you're doing Paragon Headers, Exhaust and a Halltech Hornet intake you can expect to see around 455WHP and 450LB FT TQ. That's what we've seen from our testing.
You’d need to check with your local dealerships. Some will allow headers while other won’t. They shouldn’t because they don’t effect anything in a negative way.
Stock cats aren't the restriction on these cars, the headers are. We've tested countless catalytic convertors and they all only increase power by single digit numbers.
@paragonperformance isn’t there a video showing the dyno for the different exhaust, and cats? I saw one a week ago that showed just that. No gain or loss with cats. And the hp gain was greater with 1 7/8” headers vs 1 3/4” headers
alot easier than removing and adding equal length stepped headers to my E46 M3...C8 in my future
18 bolts and 6 hours later...but was a noob...now only 5 hours :-)
Another great product and installation video.
Thanks 😊 waiting for your ZO6 products.
Thank you Larry! The team is patiently waiting for our Z06 to arrive.

I'm waiting for one also
Nice! Will most likely hit you up once my C8 rolls in...
So curious since you removed all the heat shields what protects all the engine components from heat. There had to be a reason GM put them on the car?
So you don’t burn yourself. We’ve track tested without the shields and the engine bay holds up fine. Doesn’t raise intake temps or anything.
Love my Paragon Headers on my HTC!!!
Guessing I know you from CorvetteForum!
Thanks Geoff!

Glad it's helpful. No panels need to be removed!
@@ParagonPerformance thats cool to know thanks!
Any negative effects on heat soak without the heat shields installed when seeing heavy track time in high temperatures?
We've track tested them at New Orleans & NCM with no issues of heat soaking.

Thank you

Headers from the factory are great. Remove the cats and get a tune. You will achieve more gain with less cost.
@@bradbonnell5777 yet, you’ll void factory warranty with a tune, while you won’t with headers 😉
@ParagonPerformance Mine is a 2020 Z51. Removing cats will have no effect on my warranty.

Do you reinstall the heat shield? If not, what do you do with the lines that clipped to it?
We didn't reinstall the heat shield. There are no lines that clip into it the heat shield they clip into the strut tower support bars.
@@ParagonPerformance Thanks. Watching it again I can see what you're saying. I'm thinking this may be my first mod!
@@flatspin99 It's a great first mod. Will increase power across the whole powerband. Great for autocross & the road course ;)

We are planning on making C8 Z07 Replica Parts. 😁
About how long would you say the install took? Just curious if I should do the catback and the headers in one swing.
Header install should take 4-5 hours depending if you have a coupe or convertible.
Are these headers a more impactful mod than the Eventuri cold air intake? I know that they’re both good but which gives more bang for your buck?

I have a few questions

ARH & aFe are the only CARB compliant headers for the C8 at the moment. aFe includes the letter and sticker.

Great question Dave! Geoff, a local customer, has a HTC with both products and hasn't had any issues.

They will be shorter than C6 and C7 headers due to how the mid engine design is.
Interesting 🤔
Don't think about it, just do it.

What were the stock numbers before the mods?
Will the headers get in the way of the carbon fiber engine kit
Nope!
Any check engine lights?
No risk of a CEL when installed correctly.
Do headers void engine warranty
No they won’t void your warranty
Is there a weight saving
12.5Lbs Total of weight savings. OEM Headers are 19lbs each, Paragon Headers are 12Lbs 12oz.
Will this void any warranties on the motor?
