I don’t think we should necessarily put too much weight on TV scores because critics are only given a handful of episodes to review, and not the entire season. Many shows start strong and end terribly.
I feel like this season of the x men will be great but down the line it could get worse
I have full confidence that the season is going to go very smoothly but I am a tiny bit concerned about a potential season 2 due to the head writer being removed

You wanna know the secret? They respected the lore. They only made few changes.
i think the key to that is that the x-men (as we know them now, not the original team) have been a radically inclusive group from the start, by design. strong national, gender and ethnic diversity meant nothing HAD to change in order for the x-men to act as role models for ALL kids.

This serie is perfection. Dialogue. Animation. Voice actors. Powers. Jean, Scott, Storm everyone had their moments. My only disappointment is that Mystique was not in the entire season despite being mentioned as “the evil mother” or just “Mystique” once. I guess we’re going to see her alongside Gambit as Horseman

Something that was interesting about the reviews for the snyder DC movies is that the critic scores went up as the number of critics reviewing it went down.
I figure it was because the critics that hated the snyderverse the most just stopped bothering to see them

What is the problem with using a old trope from decades ago for example look at iron man and spider man they use a age old trope and yet it is good . To conclude i will agree with you that ms Marvel is not a 90 percent show . Even at my most generous it is a 70.

They were just faithful to the source material in terms of her characters (the power change is still weird but whatever) it was an easy slam dunk. Of the entire list he listed, Ms Marvel skews towards the youngest audience on that list. And it was good. So it makes sense if the reviews are more forgiving b/c of the younger audience demographic

I don’t really count movie as good just because the critics rate it. For instance ms marble had an 80 percent audience rating. You gotta look at both the critics and audience which clearly shows you that X-men 97 is amazing

Ms Marvel touches cultural history, and accurate cultural representation, and the protagonist is an Avenger fan which makes her super relatabale.
This must be coming from someone who isn’t Muslim. In the show she casually drinks alcohol when attending a visit with her Jewish friend. In the Quran it is explicitly forbidden to drink any alcohol, so for the show runners to include this is a sign of mishandling. I don’t see how being an avenger fan makes her more relatable considering the Avengers exist in the MCU. It’s more likely there was some form of Corporate handling

The fact that Ms Marvel rates higher than No Way Home means that you should never listen to critics; they're the ones that washed out of film school because they could'nt cut it anyway.
Or you should actually give the show a chance maybe instead of just skipping it because your mad they didn't give her the same powers.
@@transyuri4534 I did watch the show and even though it wasnt as bad as She Hulk, it was still terrible. Yes, changing her powers made no sense and neither did making her a mutant instead of an inhuman. The entire show served as a vehicle to promote pakistani culture onto its viewers and to set up The Marvels. Nothing more. And it was most certainly NOT better than Spider-man: No Way Home in any way.
@@FuzzyFoot58 Making her a mutant did make sense actually. In the comics she was originally going to be a mutant but editorial forced them to change it sense marvel comics didn't want any knew characters that they couldn't use for movies.
@@transyuri4534 In the MCU it doesnt make sense because at the time no mutants existed in the 616 universe. And the new X-men movie they're working on now will take place in another universe designated 287, which is the one that Monica Rambeu ended up in at the end of The Marvels and were introduced to Beast. The only mutants we've ever seen in the MCU have been from other universes. It is believed that mutants will be fully brought into the 616 universe by the end of Secret Wars a few years from now.
So why the hell is Ms Marvel a mutant when they dont exist in the 616 yet? The Inhumans exist in the 616 universe so why change her?

Every once and a while. Marvel releases peak animation. They stopped doing that after the 2000's began. When DC fully took the throne. Now, here goes marvel, peaking.

the only scores i care about are the google user score (keeping in mind that anything under 70% is pretty bad) and rotten tomatoes audience score.
Black Panther and Ms. Marvel being that high is absolutely criminal, they are two of the worst Marvel products I've ever seen. I understand people appreciate them because they feature a large cast of Black and Pakistani actors without being another film about their history of being oppressed, but the quality of both of them is so terrible!
Absolutely. Can not imagine people can compare and place them on same level as Loki or Avengers: Endgame.

Critic reviews don't mean anything. Audience reviews are better. Critics rated Infinity War an 85% and it should be way higher than that.
I actually really enjoyed Ms Marvel.. (but that may be due to bias; I'm a first generation middle eastern american, so she was relatable.) But I think No Way Home should be #1.
Inclusion of absolutely forgettable black panther movie invalidates the whole thing. The show rules tho

marvel finaly realized that its not the kids that watch marvel stuff but the teenages and people around to 35.

Good sir you are out of touch with todays youth and it shows. Marvel has known who its target audience is but a lot of their money comes from toy sales so they try to also make them family friendly so parents can take their kids to see it and and the kids want the toys from the movie. X-men 97 is a continuation of a show from the 90s. A show that the people who grow up watching would now be old enough to want a more mature show. Similar things have happened with shows like young Justice and samurai Jack. The audience who grew up with it originally want something more adult to watch. That’s why X-men 97 is so mature for marvel
When they make animations for adults with deep storylines like the XMen, kids will watch it because of the animation and later as adults they’ll watch it again and then understands it. It’s like building a brand for life. 😊

ms marvel wasn’t anything amazing but it was fun and was a mostly self contained story that had things connected to the rest of the mcu but wasn’t weighed down by it and set up things that will be used later, they didn’t nail it but it’s the format the mcu definitely needs to get back to. I agree with the audience score id definitely give it like a 80%
Only downside of X-Men 97 is rogue. She is so fucking southern its physically hurts me when she talks.

I still have NO idea how Ms. Marvel got rated so high. I mean don’t get me wrong, I actually really liked the show. But I’d give it like an 8 at best. Maybe 7.5. Certainly not over some of these other options. I mean I loved Kamala as a character, her dynamic with her family and friends, and the editing combined with the visuals. But it loses points because the villains were kinda dumb (forgettable for that matter) and they took away Kamala’s original powers which were such an important part of who she is in the comics.

I personally think that it’s too early for a definitive statement and review of the series yet.

If you review the episodes by themselves it’s better:
Episode 1: 8/10
Episode 2: 10/10
Episode 3:7.5/10

X-Man 97 isn’t canon in the MCU.
Either way, 100 and 93 is incredible.
As I've learned, you really shouldn't be able to earn 100, because there's always more to learn, finesse and you can't please everyone.
For me they get dinged for pacing at the moment.
Rotten Tomatoes scores aren't "100% means its perfect", they're "100% means everyone who scores this was positive about it".
All the critics and audiences could rate something a 7/10 and it would still be a 100%. It's basically "this is how likely it is that anyone interested in watching this will actually like it", rather than "this is how much you will like it" as with Metacritic or IMDb ratings.
Wtf is wrong with people. Only good ones they mentioned was Spider-Man and end game.
If Cap 2: The Winter Soldier isn't on that list then it is a worthless list.

'Rotten Tomatoes' Top critics are literally a jumble of the worst reviews I've ever seen. ALWAYS go with Audience Score, just by numbers alone you get a better average.
