@@HeadGodoftheGodCouncil Maybe not to god, but for us mere mortals a smiling batman is a sign that we're going to be seeing you pretty soon. And it is going to be an excruciating trip.
Spiderman is WAY stronger than his friends and enemies credit him for. His main 'weakness' is that he holds back super hard. He can stop a runaway train with his grip strength. Catch a bus falling full of people. If he so chose, he could rend everyone around him limb from limb. He doesn't because he's gentle and cares for others. But he's a lot like Superman or The Flash in that way. Knowing how destructive he could be and why it's important to hold back. Doing it so long that everyone thinks his limits are far lower than they really are.
Well he is by no mean on the level of the heaviest hitter in Marvel, but contrarilly to them he spend most of his superhero activity without a team dealing with street level threat, so yes similar to the Big Blue Boyscout he have to hold back a lot to just not cave in a skull each time he punches. Even his rogue gallery have a lot of not that tough opponent: Doc Oc, Mysterio, or Vulture are physically just normal humans and he would have killed them ages ago if he really wanted.
@@enomiellanidrac9137 Maybe not a planetary scale like Superman. But Spiderman if not holding back would punch a hole through his rouge gallery. If he can stop a train by hand, he'd flick them to death.

I always love when Peter just casually uses his super strength and other heroes are surprised by just how strong he his. "Is he strong? Listen, bud. He's got radioactive blood."

@@rave123456v He's actually right, one of Spidey's major weaknesses is Ethyl Chloride, it's used as a "bug"(arachnid) spray for spiders, Spidey is super susceptible to the stuff
People need to be reminded that Spider-man always pulls his punches. But when he stops joking around and doesn't pull them. He's absolutely unstoppable.
My favorite example of that is when dr octavias gets spidermans body and ends up punching scorpions bottom jaw completely off and then realizing that Peter could've killed them all and chose not to.
Well. Unstoppable... Boarf. Really. He is 10 tonners. Yes, it's strong for this classic ennemies (and... not all, like lizard, venom) but in marvel universe? Nah. But his agility with this strenght, sure he can be strong but he is really limited.
@@Beastly_Genius the man can go toe to toe with the physically strongest beings in the universe. Ofcourse there are people that can stop him, but it aint easy for anyone. Physically hes increadibly strong. Mentally hes up there with some of the smartest in the verse, especially when it comes to combat. His powers make him hard to deal with and he basically has precognition, which can only be stopped with something that can only exist if he exists in that universe. In a fresh world where no one has any idea how to handle him, hes borderline unstopable. Even capable of fighting off the main avengers roster and still getting away.
They all kinda forget how formidable Spidey is when he needs to be. You have to be at least approaching author levels to really put him out of a fight.
Dude can literally hold a cruise ship and manhandle a moving freight train like a street tramp He has enough strength to pop captain america's skull like a pimple if he really doesn't hold back Perhaps even enough strength to break his shield
^^ 1. Spidey definitely doesn't even have close to enough power to break cap's shield. That would require a planetary scale level attack, or something similar such a Thanos. 2. Vibranium is not unbreakable.
@@valbroderick8156 If I remember correctly the shield is made of vibranium rather than adamantium. Adamantium was Wolverine's skeletal coating and claws.
If you flipped spidey into a villain, he would be like a villain for entire superhero teams, not just one hero. His powers are INSANE if used without remorse, and dont forget the genius level intellect. Im sure he could come up with so many ways to weaponize his spidey sense and web shooters for super murderous intent. Also, he wouldve probably made himself a suit of armor to augment his powers. Xmen would have their hands full against evil spidey
There's a 'What if...?' comic that explores that. I forget the exact details, but Peter winds up working for SHIELD, dating Black Widow, and training under Wolverine. He pushes his Spider Sense to the point where he's taking out entire mutually supporting teams of snipers and assassins before they even finish setting up, while still standing next to their target.
Read the comic where Doc Ock gets body swapped with spidey and realizes just how strong and fast spidey is and that he is holding back every single fight so he doesnt hurt doc ock.
We have Superior Spiderman, but that's more of an Anti Hero Spiderman. Someone on a comment above referenced the time Otto first fought Scorpion in Pete's body. Octavius got afraid when he punched Scorpion's jaw off because he realized Peter could've killed him any time he wanted and always held back
Spiderman is definitely one of my favorites, but let's take a minute to admit how well cap delt with the whole thing, no aggression, he just wanted to help his friend through whatever was going on, albeit he would have been slowing Peter down but nonetheless, cap is a true leader.
Cap was always brains over brawn, even more so when he got the serum. As he says, he recognizes that look. I bet if peter explained it as fast as he did with Thing and Johnny. Cap mightve stalled the Gov. But then again cap is a glorified boy scout so who knows
When your bitch is going to die, you don't have time for Cap's "by the book" bullshit. Replace Mary Jane with Gwen Stacy in this same scenario, and I'd probably excuse him committing drive by murders to get to her.
If he'd promised to explain it tomorrow, and said that he'd be leveraging the time speed difference to do it quickly, and gave his word.. I reckon cap would have helped him
As a kid yes, as an adult, it'd be a struggle on both sides. If both knew there was no other option here then Captain America definitely would've put up more of a fight. Winning, not so sure. I give Spidey the edge 6.5/10. Captain America is still Captain America after all.

Peter is technically smarter than Tony Stark, And here's a reminder that Tony is so intelligent that he was recognized as a damn God. Peter Parker is the most intelligently capable person in that universe, he is the most versatile and quick thinking hero in his universe. Peter is blessed by the great Weaver making it so he can always travel the multiverse safely, this applies to all incarnations of Spider-Man, this is why No matter where they go in the multiverse they always have a very high chance of survival and they will never end up in a place that will instantly kill them. Peter has a constantly growing set of super powers, basically his super strength super speed super thinking and super agility are constantly increasing. The Spidey sense is a transdimensional power that can not only warn him about any and all incoming danger from Any direction, but from any universe and even time. He is blessed by the concept of valor it's self making it so that so long as he doesn't give up He will always come out victorious regardless of the situation regardless of the odds regardless of how unlikely it is. He is the chosen guardian of humanity and his powers and intellect will increase explosively The more humans are in danger. He is the chosen champion of earth and is blessed with near invincibility so long as he is fighting for Earth or it's inhabitants. He is the faith chosen, making him nearly immune to any hexes, long therm plots and most magical bull*hitery. He is the The one and only recognized as a true Hero by the one above all. He's the ever chosen of humanity, AKA he is the Paragon, the champion, the Alpha, the One true, he is the Incarnation of very concept of humanity, making it so that he can surpass all others in all branches of human knowledge including magic science and mysticism. Basically what I'm saying is that Stan, Kirby and Ditko Loved Spider-Man just as much as everyone else does and ended up making him the most secretly overpowered it character in comic book history, I mean hell technically speaking Spider-Man could realistically go full on one punch man if he actually wanted to, If he activated his blessings and finally decided to uncage his full power and humanity at large was at risk He could realistically rip world breaker hulk apart in a stand-up fight then again if he activated all his blessings He wouldn't need to fist fight the hulk He would literally rip him apart using pure raw magic and the forces of the universe itself which he would command as easily as if they were his limbs.... Because that's another thing he is the goddamn Avatar of magic, his magic potential makes Doctor strange look like a goddamn retarded toddler That's somebody dropped on its head, hell the only reason Spider-Man usually goes down the technological path Instead of finding out he has such ridiculous magical potential that he can literally rip realities out of existence or forcefully merge entire multiverses is because 9/10 times he is found by iron man before he is found by Doctor strange or the ancient one.
I like to think that Spiderman's jokes and quirky personality is just a coping mechanism for all the tragedies the sadistic writers did to him, and as someone who was raised by a deeply traumatized person (my dad had a very horrible childhood), they then to lash out. And when they lash out...they don't hold back..
It always brings a small smile to my face when reading the comics, when a character doesn’t take a ‘serious’ Peter seriously, and is shocked at how strong he is when he’s not pulling his punches.
Marvel has Spider-Man's full capabilities on their official website. Just in terms of what he's physically capable of, writer's downplay him a lot. Unless you have super speed, or can simultaneously attack him from so many different directions that it's impossible for him to avoid all of them, like surrounding the entire area he's in with some sort of field, you're not even supposed to be able to touch him because his spider sense and reflexes are so finely tuned he'll dodge things he's not even consciously aware of. When it comes to him attacking others, I think a lot of people forget that Spider-Man is one of the few super heroes who genuinely does not want to hurt anyone. He only hits people as hard as he thinks he has to. Even the MCU shows that he's a lot stronger than people think. Very few characters in the movies could have held that boat together the way he did when it was cut in half. Cap couldn't have done it. He struggled with a helicopter, and that boat was a lot bigger than a helicopter. The only MCU heroes I can think of that could have pulled off a similar feat are Thor and Hulk.
Something I actually enjoy about the Tom Holland run was that they lowkey gimped him from a writing perspective. He didn't know how strong he really was until Homecoming when Vulture dropped a whole-ass building on him, and he didn't have a proper handle on his Spider Sense until Far From Home.
Spiderman isnt as strong as hulk or thor BUT it should be noted that spiderman fought the hulk and got caught in his grip but managed to strongarm himself out. THATS saying something. He aint strong enough to hurt the hulk, and isnt as strong as him overall. But he seems to be strong enough the barely open up his grip.
_"spider sense and reflexes are so finely tuned he'll dodge things he's not even consciously aware of."_ Well that's debatable. Then again if he was dodging everything it wouldn't be as interesting.
Spider-Man is always underestimated by his enemies and comrades. Yeah, he’s optimistic and has a witty sense of humor but the fact that he holds back on his full strength a lot just shows that you REALLY don’t want to be on his bad side because when he gets real serious, he can be pretty scary. The man literally picked up a tank, held up a plane and a huge part of a building.
*WHEN MARVEL* used to do those alphabetical character biography comics, Captain America was listed as the peak of normal human physical development, while Spiderman was in the 10 ton range - able to press 10 tons overhead. To give some context, the elite strength characters of the Marvel universe were in the Class 100 category - able to press over 100 tons. That was Thor, Hercules, Gladiator, The Champion etc. Hulk was only able to press 80 tons under normal circumstances, but had a potentially unlimited upper range when enraged. And there were cosmic-level characters who transcended the need for physical strength - Galactus, Thanos, Ego the Living Planet, the Celestials, the Beyonder etc.
I love how they alluded to his strength in the MCU Civil War movie. Cap realizes how strong Peter is which is why he finds his way out of the fight by making that plane walkway fall on him knowing he was strong enough to hold it. Really hope we get to see more of that in the future.
@@en4833 that Peter was very inexperienced. I mean that was his first fight above petty street criminals. Cap probably would’ve lost but it also wasn’t a one on one fight.

As so many have stated, Parker's greatest ability is that no one ever truly knows how powerful he TRULY is. He's a lot like Clark Kent/Superman in that regard. They both spend a LOT of time and energy actively avoiding getting into a physical fight, and when it happens they hold back their full strength, only using it when it is 100% absolutely necessary. I think the only times I have seen Supes not hold back was against Darkseid and Doomsday. Not sure about Parker, but I can't imagine what threats he would face aside from some uber characters like Thor, Hulk, and the cosmic beings would warrant him just unleashing it all.
Unfortunate thing is, against such foes, you won't even notice the difference, really. Much as it would be epic for Spidey to punch a hole through Hulk or Thor, that is out of character with how their durability is. So even if he punches them through a building, it's just how a fight against Hulk or Thor goes. And even though he holds buildings, holds ferries together, and stops a train with sheer arm strength (passed to buildings via webs, but ultimately just held by his hands) that doesn't quite communicate well how destructively powerful he is. We just think about those feats differently, for some reason. Probably that they are less dynamic on his part, and not direct combat.
in the comic series "Superior Spiderman" (incredible comic, people commonly say its one of the best spiderman comics of all time), doc ock switching bodies with peter parker, swapping their minds and peter dies inside doc ock's aged and diseased body while ock takes over his. during one of the first issues of the series, Ock (now in peter's body) fights against the scorpion, throws one "normal" punch, and rips his jaw clean off. its a big shock moment where doc ock realizes every time he and others fought peter he was holding back, because one typical or average punch ripped scorpion's jaw clean off, and was already more powerful than anything peter used against them
@@tvrkm6897 People kinda getting carried away with the Spider Man hype train. Yes he's very strong, well into the superhuman strength level, but he's not on the same level as Thor or Hulk. He's not going to punch through them, they might punch through him if they don't pull back.
For those who don’t know, Doctor Octopus once possessed Spider-Man in the comics and punched Scorpion. However, since he didn’t know Spider-Man holds back, he accidentally punched Scorpion’s jaw clean off.
People ALWAYS underestimate Spider-man! I was big fan back in the 90's, read all the earlier versions too. He single handedly whooped the X-men in Secret Wars (issue 5 I think), fought the HULK by himself and held his own (the issue before he encounters the Jury) AND beat the sh*t out of Firelord without ever getting hit (he had the black suit then)! The man is AWESOME ✊✊✊
Spidey is AWESOME, writers and fans DO often play down his spider-proportionate strength, but honestly the Firelord fight was extreme CIS/PIS. No way he beats a Herald of Galactus with proper writing. Still, he did it in print according to one writer, so kudos to him.
@@williamoat8102no it wasnot. Did you actually read it? The whole day Firelord was after Spider-Man. He tried his best to reason with him. But at the end, Peter was seriously pissed and went all out against Firelord. He used his spider sense to avoid everything and hit Firelord with all he has. So fist and feet!! Spider-Man never goes all out. That is the reason why you underestimate him saying Firelord shouldnot be beaten. After that fight the Thing said the same thing. He and the Torch couldnot believe that Spider-Man could defeat an herald of Galactus!!
So like how do I read a spiderman comic like it seems I have to read EVERY comic to understand one. Can someone give me a good standaloneish spiderman series to read.
People always forget just how strong Spider-man really is, because most people know him mainly through movies and cartoons, and maybe games, but not really through comics. It was mentioned time and time again that every time Spider-man fights, he's always holding back. There were few times when he did not hold back and it was sight to see.
No, in-universe people forget how strong he is. His strength is displayed just fine in movies and games. For a super strong fictional character, Petes pretty low tier as far as super strength goes. He'll never be that impressive when the likes of Hulk or Thor also exist.
"this isn't Spider-Man beating you. This is Peter Parker. This is personal." he made it absolutely clear to everyone who it was beating Kingpin's ass, he also made it absolutely clear to Kingpin that he could easily kill him at any time, but he was *allowing* him to live but if he ever decided to go after his family & friends again, it'd be the last thing he ever did. Truly a power move beyond power moves.
I absolutely love whenever they take Spider-Man and do stuff like this because it shows how strong he is and how much he cares it's never he's turning into a villain it's he's doing it for a reason we can all agree with it's not working the character in anyway it's just perfect
Spiderman is one of the only heroes that has a Villain group regularly(sinister six) that comes together to destory a single hero. And he defeats them all the time.
He mentioned this to Doc Ock once during a Sin Six attack. And how it's weird that he beats them so much faster when they gang up. Then he admitted it's because he holds back just a little bit less in those situations. Then he rushed in and broke both Ocks meat arms. Fun times.
Yeah spider man is insanely strong quick and resourceful. Cap made a reasonable tactical decision to reason with peter cause bringing him down on his own would not just be difficult but perhaps not possible without a team or a well laid trap.
People forget when Peter is very serious, he is at his most dangerous. He not making any jokes or wise cracks. He extremely focused at the job at hand. He does this often during his Todd Mcfarlane era in the 90s when Spidey is in his 30s. Cause when Todd drew him. There was a lot of serious comics to read. Peter didn't joke that much unless he around Mary Jane. Spidey as an adult is by far the best Comics to read. You only got to see Spidey as an adult in Spiderverse and No way Home. When you see Tobey as adult Spidey. Spider-Man is no joke in the comics, the Enemies he deals with are at times stronger than he is. Like Venom, Carnage, The Lizard, Rhino, Grey Hulk, etc. Has beaten the crap outta Kingpin, Wolverine, has beaten Daredevil and many other Heros and Enemies alike. Spider-Man is not weak at all, and to deal with these kind of people and live to talk to about it. Peter Parker aka Spider-Man has been my favorite Marvel character since the old tv series and reading comics at age 6. And all through my teen years in the 90s.
Remember when some thugs straight up surrendered because they noticed Peter wasn't quipping? And turns out he just had a sore throat and couldn't talk? They saw the writing on the wall, and just noped out. False alarm, but I wouldn't have tried that bet either.

Spiderman hitting Cap with his own shield like that has to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I would give almost anything to see that scene between Cap and Spidey play out in live action. Especially after their fight in Captain America: Civil War. Cap fucked around and found out.

People mostly like the younger Spider Man from high school. I grew up in the 2000s, so in his comic runs he was already in his 20s, post Civil War and pre One More Day where he just stopped holding back. When he started using the black suit again(a cloth one, not the symbiote) and beat the living shit out of Kingpin for almost killing Aunt May, that shit was incredible. Even later at the New Avengers run, Wolverine was talking shit about MJ and Peter simply threw him out of a window and just kept walking, that right there was my Spider Man, cracking jokes but being through so much that even him can't be on his persona all the time.
The Wolverine case was funny. That window was supposely unbreakable, and they were several stories up, meaning that, if Wolverine's main mutation wasn't a healing factor, he could've literally died that day.
Spider-Man is the guy who lights up the dark room to make sure everyone stays positive very similar to The Flash however this makes people overconfident and they end up understanding him. They forget that Spidey fought the Hulk and was holding his own. He can wipe the floor with people like Captain America, Black Panther, The Winter Soldier, etc. and after all of the wins Spidey has on his belt, they still underestimate him. For people who are supposed to be strong and very good at learning, it’s always “my way or the highway” with them. That’s part of the reason why Spider-Man is a true hero and the best hero marvel has. He can be a little immature sometimes but that’s because he’s younger than most of the other heroes.
I remember a storyline from the 80s where Spidey helped the Avengers with something on Earth, but then they learned they needed to go to space. Cap said Spidey didn't have to come, but Spidey was all for it. Once in space and fighting whatever bad guys, Cap noticed that Spidey really lightened the mood with even Thor cracking (badly) a joke (something along the lines of "Take two and bother not to call me on the morrow")
spiderman is what you get when you write a true "good guy" with top tier powers. not a guy with strong morals, but an actual genuinely pure person... you get a hero who is constantly overlooked by his peers as their equal or even superior.

In one comic comic I read Wolverine, even told Peter if he had the ability to kill he would be nearly unstoppable and that’s coming from the best at what he does.
Spider-Man is all about banter and jokes and witty remarks because he’s your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and he’s usually just trying to stop his opposition, not cause grievous harm, and his constant chatter keeps them distracted and irritated which causes them to make mistakes that make them easier to take down. But when he stops joking, stops the banter, stops being Friendly, that’s when his opposition is in real tangible danger.
Cap is a true mature hero and a soldier. He knows about PTSD and sudden outbursts of aggression when someone is going through a dark phase. People here are saying that Cap couldn't have done anything to Peter anyway so he's got no other choice but to be nice, but that's bullshit. He would be the same way even if it was someone much weaker. Such people don't need a fight or a lesson, they just need compassion.
Yup. I think Steve Rogers found that out when he gave up being Captain America at the end of Avengers Endgame, to go back to the 1940s so that he could be with his woman. The dude was Captain Freakin America (probably the most respected Avenger, and the original Avenger)...and he gave that title up, to be with a woman. If i remember correctly. Theres a comic where doc oc takes peters body, and discovers peter always holds back, and that spiderman can genuinely punch hard enough to knock a human head clean off. Captain america is lucky peter still held back tbh..
lets not forget that Peter almost knock the hulk out with one serious punch and he was still not going 100% so that alone says alot about how strong he is
Generally speaking, Spider-Man is stronger than anyone faster than him (a short roster) and faster than everyone stronger than him (a longer roster), and he's a borderline genius. He's technically not the best in any one area, but he is always able to pit his advantages against someone else's weaknesses.
Captain America should be glad that Peter didn't shove him & his shield all the way through the wall. If Spidey isn't holding back, he could easily punch Cap's head right off his shoulders; yes, even though Cap is an augmented super-soldier. Spidey *always* holds back until he has definitive proof that his opponent can slough off anything less than his full strength. Events that involve Spidey always tend to proceed more quickly & smoothly to a positive resolution; it just seems to be a knack he has. Indeed, he's even been the closest non-psionic person to actually *stopping* Juggernaut...Spidey managed to trap him for several *months* before Juggy managed to walk out of the trap. It seems that the strongest people in Marvel comics are also the most gentle. Heck, as long as there's no one attacking or threatening the Hulk, he can even pet a curious bunny rabbit without accidentally rubbing its fur completely off. Indeed, something like that rabbit even helps Hulk calm down more quickly & transform back into Banner.
They hinted at that in the movies. When he just casually caught Bucky cybernetic arm while being more in awe of the tech and not at all afraid. That was the same arm that Bucky was able to overpower Cap with. Spidey's only big weakness in the movies was that he was a kid and didn't really know how to fight for real like Cap and the others. That was something he he learned through loss and suffering and by the end of No Way Home, he was the scary Spiderman we sometimes saw in comics. That Spiderman would have dismantled Cap just as easily as he did Goblin.
@@Elthenar I totally agree. If Cap faced the same Peter that faced Green Goblin, he would have wrecked Cap assuming it wasn't written by a total Cap fanboy.

Other supers tend to underestimate him because he's, well, the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. No lethal force, always joking, slots neatly in to the goofy sidekick role in any team-up. Although it's weird that Cap of all people would have acted like some kind of cop over a little dimensional portal and an explosion. Like, it's Marvel. That kind of thing happens more or less constantly. They've got people who set off explosions when they sneeze and enough space-warping weirdos to for an extremely complicated bowling league.
Last time I checked, Peter was Class 10… being able lift 10 tons without strain is crazy… so yea, he could put a few people down if he really wanted to 😂
He can lift even more than that my guy. Spider-Man in his mid to late 20s full grown can lift well over 25 tons. Some cases when enraged he can lift close to 200 tons

Classic Spiderman (80's-90's) was listed as being able to lift (press) about 10 TONS. For the non-maths, that is 20,000 lbs.

Spidey is far from unstoppable as far as his physical abilities go. What makes him so dangerous is high level of intelligence & creativity

Read the comic where
Doc Ock gets body swapped with spidey and realizes just how strong and fast spidey is and that he is holding back every single fight so he doesnt hurt doc ock.
We have Superior Spiderman, but that's more of an Anti Hero Spiderman. Someone on a comment above referenced the time Otto first fought Scorpion in Pete's body. Octavius got afraid when he punched Scorpion's jaw off because he realized Peter could've killed him any time he wanted and always held back
Spideys powers are also very well suited for a villain when you think about it.
He took on the X-Men in Secret Wars and was cleaning their clocks until Professor X wiped his memory of why they were fighting.
I reckon cap would have helped him
He sounded like he was playing “good cop” screw the feds
Why did he not believe Spider-Man? Weren't they friends? Why did the FF try and stop him? Aren't they friends too?

At that point in time yes, but really it goes both ways, like "If Spidey wanted to lay you out, he would"
As a kid yes, as an adult, it'd be a struggle on both sides. If both knew there was no other option here then Captain America definitely would've put up more of a fight. Winning, not so sure. I give Spidey the edge 6.5/10. Captain America is still Captain America after all.

Yea lmao reed literally said peter is smarter than younger him

He's faster than anyone stronger than him, stronger than anyone faster than him and smarter than either one.

Peter was strong in the MCU, he beat up green goblin and easily out strength Captain America and Winter soldier.
Well the Hulk has held continets together so id say hes stronger than peter.
_"spider sense and reflexes are so finely tuned he'll dodge things he's not even consciously aware of."_
Well that's debatable. Then again if he was dodging everything it wouldn't be as interesting.
@Nick F. Since the 60s he maxed out at 100 tons. But other writers made him stronger than that.
I love when they show how strong Spiderman actually is. He's scrawny and agile so people underestimate his physical power, but the guy is a tank.
I hope we don't. Cap never should have gotten the opportunity to drop the walkway on him. Without plot armor, Cap would have lost.

The man is AWESOME ✊✊✊
Yep
Spidey is AWESOME, writers and fans DO often play down his spider-proportionate strength, but honestly the Firelord fight was extreme CIS/PIS. No way he beats a Herald of Galactus with proper writing. Still, he did it in print according to one writer, so kudos to him.

@@williamoat8102no it wasnot. Did you actually read it? The whole day Firelord was after Spider-Man. He tried his best to reason with him. No, in-universe people forget how strong he is. His strength is displayed just fine in movies and games. For a super strong fictional character, Petes pretty low tier as far as super strength goes. He'll never be that impressive when the likes of Hulk or Thor also exist.
@@user-kx1mb9qq4z
Even so, super strength is still _super_ strength. It's just not _godly_ strength.
I keep thinking back to that scene were he absolutely flattens Kingpin after taking his suit off to teach him a lesson. Iconic stuff right there.
Fun times.

Spider-Man’a real strength is being able to live after so many tragedy, losing love one to death, to Paul, to themselves.
Captain America's plot armor is the equivalent of the Batman prep time meme, haha
spooder man holding back is equal to spooder man win's a fight meme he he he.
Once in space and fighting whatever bad guys, Cap noticed that Spidey really lightened the mood with even Thor cracking (badly) a joke (something along the lines of "Take two and bother not to call me on the morrow")
yeah well spider-man comics don't sell cause he sucks lol
spiderman is what you get when you write a true "good guy" with top tier powers. not a guy with strong morals, but an actual genuinely pure person... you get a hero who is constantly overlooked by his peers as their equal or even superior.
its the spidey motif, it has always been a bit comical, plus him starting as a teen, and joking a lot.
I love how Tony said in the movie that if cap wanted to lay peter out he would've during civil war, because even cap in his prime would in fact get pieced up by spiderman from the comics
A Spider-Man who stops pulling his punches and joking, is like a Batman who kills
Spider-Man not only cracked and almost broke a shield meant to absorb any physical damage, and this is the same shield that had literally withstood godly attacks many many times. He also managed to put enough force overpower a super solider and send him straight into a brick wall Spider-Man is strong af
Oh no it was already broken
He didn't shatter it😊
And while Spidey is tremendously more powerful than Cap, Steve was clearly not trying there
@@masterchiefpettyofficer1176 spider has destroyed caps shield before and this time he just cracked it. And every time spider man fought at 100% without holding back he bodies Cap. He is simply the better fighter
@@masterchiefpettyofficer1176 Captain America isn't a superhuman. He is definitely worlds strongest man levels of strength but he isn't "lift a literal ton and throw it" strength.
@Demon Intellect simply the better fighter? No.. he's simply stronger.. if you put a 400 pound body builder against a 140 pound martial artist the body builder would win 99% of the time. He isn't the better fighter for it, just the stronger one.
At first I was like "Come on Peter, just explain the situation and that's it!" but then everyone started saying things that made a lot of sense and it was like ohdamn, they're right, clearing up this whole multidimensional situation will take 1 or 2 days and that's when Peter's anxiety and predicament infected me, I will act exactly the same as Peter in that situation.
These Spider-Man stories are very amazing
Norman Osborn(mocking smile): "How desperate are you, to come find me for help?"
When "friendly" isn't a part of the neighborhood spiderman anymore
In one comic comic I read Wolverine, even told Peter if he had the ability to kill he would be nearly unstoppable and that’s coming from the best at what he does.
Where was this channel when I needed it. I love this channel you earned my subscription.
If Peter or Deadpool ISNT joking, they're well beyond dangerous.
"My girlfriend is trapped in a different dimension being chased by monsters, and one hour here is a day there." Done.
1:35 y does Peter look so much like spiderverse Miguel Ohara here
I like how Cap is still chill and friendly after being smacked into the wall.
Such people don't need a fight or a lesson, they just need compassion.
poor Peter. he'll find out that "She's not yours, it's just your turn" the hard way.
And look at the shell of himself that he was at the end of it, as a result of making that decision. And most importantly...she was not there to be with him, in his old age. Even super heroes s*mp. 🤦♂
@@GPhonse257 what? He had saved countless lives and the world/universe. Then he went on a quest to return the stones which who knows how long that took. Spending decades with the love of his life was everything to him, if it wasn’t he could have returned to being Captain America at any time. Being old at the end doesn’t make his story sad… getting old happens no matter what life you lead if you’re lucky.

If i remember correctly. Theres a comic where doc oc takes peters body, and discovers peter always holds back, and that spiderman can genuinely punch hard enough to knock a human head clean off.
Captain america is lucky peter still held back tbh..
Oh yeah, Ock was terrified at the revelation that Peter could have killed every single one of the villains he fought and chose not to.
Loved this narration, felt 80´s 90´s style. And this Peter looks older like during the 90´s Clone Saga or Framed era in the comics.
He gets back to the other universe and MJ had already moved on and married someone and had children, Spider-Man can’t catch a break
This is something I never expected, never deserved, but always wanted to see
i watched others do this comic but you made it more entertaining to watch with the editing and sounds etc.
lets not forget that Peter almost knock the hulk out with one serious punch and he was still not going 100% so that alone says alot about how strong he is
"When Spider-Man Smashed Captain America"
Amazing description
I love that line Captain America gave "I know that look peter your a solider going through it, let me help u"
Yo this was fire!!!!!!!!!! I forgot what it was like to read a book or hear a story, felt like I was in a trance‼️
Generally speaking, Spider-Man is stronger than anyone faster than him (a short roster) and faster than everyone stronger than him (a longer roster), and he's a borderline genius. He's technically not the best in any one area, but he is always able to pit his advantages against someone else's weaknesses.
Before that, he got his ass kicked by Vulture.
Spidey is always holding back against his enemies. He actually has a soft spot for them
And let's not forget, even that is Peter restraining his power.
I like this channel's way of story telling.
@mikeb53 That's discrediting my boy. He's usually shown as being weaker but not to that extent.
There's a reason why he usually wins that match-up and against other guys a bit outside his level.
@@ElthenarSpidey's only weakness in that movie was that Cap had plot armor. He won every fight in that movie except the one with Cap, and that's because Cap had plot armor. Experience doesn't really matter when you can tank every hit they can dish out, enough speed to dodge any attack, and have enough strength to pop their head off with a punch.
@@waffleten9750 Peter is a ten tonner in the MCU. Cap is around a 1.5 tonner. Peter isn't a bit outside his level.
Holy shit your voice is incredible, and the story was captivating. If there's more to this then please continue.
It’s fookin Mr. Freeman you little ArTard
This dude's voice is amazing.
I stopped because the narrator is doing a perfect impression of the late great icon of Hollywood, Orson Welles. Nicely played, sir.
The "How many people in single comment section can say Spider Man holds back" challenge
Man, this was cool. I need more comics being narrated by Morgan Freeman sounding voice.
"...and just straight up, SMASH" bruh....that was poetry
@@jordanMJK i appreciate it. Haven’t bought or read a Spidey comic since the 90’s… time to look for some omnibus’s and catch up. Damn, 200 tons when he gets mad?! It makes sense tho, he ain’t hit 40 yet…

@@jordanMJK not counting his flexibility, speed, movement, danger sense, and combat experience.
@jordanMJK I'm not a comics collector but I read a lot, never seen him lifted 200 tons. But I do know he could lift 20 tons
Never mess with a Spider-Man that is being 100% serious.
People clearly don’t remember the spider man tv show episodes where he fights hulk while taking minimal damage
The production of this channel is really good! Wow!
I like it when Spider-Man gets serious. Hope we’ll see a lot of that in the new game even without the symbiote.
Classic Spiderman (80's-90's) was listed as being able to lift (press) about 10 TONS. For the non-maths, that is 20,000 lbs. He can also absorb hits that would cripple a normal man and recover from serious injuries faster than a normal man (but not on par with Wolverine). Spiderman is a TANK if he wants to be.
I'm pretty sure he is still officially able to lift 10 tons.
Bro, when Spiderman is going crazy no one is stopping him
Spider-Man with Batman’s mentality is trouble for his entire venue of villains.
I find it funny how many comic fans actually forget how truly powerful Spider-man is.
Ok, now we need you to narrate the full comic.
