I mentioned this before but I say it again, Phuket town is so spotless clean even with the night market stalls are being set up, Kudos to the people of Phuket 👍👍👍
Yeah it’s incredible!!
Nice to come back to Thailand again. thank you very much🇹🇭
I too cannot walk past a Moo Ping food stall without buying some. So yummy!
It’s mission impossible
Nepal has limes only not lemons but the limes are called lemons over here. I was surprised at first when I moved to Australia and lemons were named limes.
Hehe it’s so interesting when you’re used to them being two completely different things!
Phuket Old Town sunday market is certainly a great place to be in. Its closed to traffic and has a fantastic array of delicious street food and performances. I was there in March 2024 and enjoyed the beaches, wonderful cuisines and all things Thai. Have fun.
It’s so fun!! 😍❤️
Yup lemon and lime are interchangeable in some asean countries, depending how it’s taught and marketed. It is very clear to certain people.
And lemons aren’t grown in tropical climates. Limes are able to.
Oh I see, makes sense!!
@@ldp44there's hybrid lemon grown here but it's not so juicy and yellowish like the ones grown in cold countries. most cafe use it because it's cheaper and doesn't taste like lime.
@@lippalma4661 yeah mostly grown in the North and only for a few months at a time. Still not a “lemon” westerners are accustomed to. Hence you said “hybrid”……
You too are always fun to watch. Thank you for bringing us along.
Thanks for watching! ❤️❤️
You know Thai so much. Happy ur enjoy our foods.

Hehehe thank you 🙏🏼❤️🥰
In Mexico, they say limon to refer to limes noting that limes are widely used in the cuisine. But the European Spanish translation for limon is lemon. But no one says lima to refer to the the lime fruit.
Oh interesting 😊😊
👋🏼 Small struggling Travel Channel here. I love your content, thanks for this great video! You inspire me to keep grinding my channel, maby one day I’ll grow as big as you 😢
Wow missing Thailand 😂🎉
Oh I'm so hungry 😋🍜💕🎉
Wish you happiness 😊💕🎉
Like ❤🎉
😍😍😍💕✨
hehehe! Sorry :) Thank you!
So lucky
Thank you!
I noticed jn asia many say lemon for lime and in Mexico too, limon means lime, i think they mostly grow + have more limes on hand and use them in place of lemon
Oh interesting!! Thank you
You had me at floppy disk...
Hahahah 😂😍
Love y’all turned tan since the beginning or the clip compared to the end.
Hahahaa 😂😂 think it’s just the orange light from the sun setting - would love if it was that quick 🥹 but it was also SO SUNNY, so maybe!!
Hi guys. Yes, lemon and lime have the same name in Thailand and Laos. It's more of a classifier for sour citrus. An orange is a citrus but has different name because it is not sour. Keep up the great content. Love you guys
Oh that’s so interesting!!
Thanks! It's interesting because lemon and lime are very different flavours haha
It is Squid’s egg! Lol!
But what is that??? It’s not the eggs of a squid? 👀
Just checked with the Wife, and yep same word for lime and lemon..
Pork mix with shrimp
Let me explain about Lime and Lemon in Thailand.
Lime in Thai is “Manao”
and Lemon in Thai is “Manao Leung” (translated as Yellow Manao) or just called “Lemon” as it is
But people in Thailand are taught from school that Manao = Lemon
Most Thai people still misunderstand because they dont know the word “Lime”, they only know them as “Lemon”
Ohhhh I understand! Thank you for the information!
❤❤
18:24 she is saying how good it is and he just inhales the rest of it, LOL.
Hahahah classic 😂
ชา (tea)มะนาว lemon
Either something is up with the camera color or yalls tan game has definitely stepped it up a notch.
That's what a few weeks in Thailand does to you!! 😂
เดินไป ชิมไป อร่อย 😅😅
😍😍
I’d suggest chillva market if you wanna be able to walk around and enjoy yourself. Sunday night market is a sea of Chinese tourists mostly. And all the vendors from chillva go to Sunday night market anyways.
Ooooh thank you for the recommendation! 😍
Lime and lemon is ma nao but you do add sii lueang at end for lemon that is the thai word for yellow
I see. Makes sense! But they had photos of a yellow lemon, and green lime in the basket haha. Bit confusing!
the smalltime is called Calamansi.
The floral taste is probably lychee! It has that sort of taste to it.
Ooooooh it could be!
ขนมสามเหลี่ยม ทำจากแป้งข้าวเหนียว
The lime/lemon translation might beb like in French. In French you have lemons & green lemons (limes). 😊
Ohhhhh I see!
Well done Adriana…I feel like it’s impossible to be strict vegetarian if you are eating street food in asia. So many things cooked in broth or mixed with meat oil, hard to tell. But when you are easy going about it like adriana, and remember you are the one making the rules about what you eat, then you don’t have to stress, + can just try your best! And enjoy!
Hehe thank you!! 🥹😍❤️
Fuc is the name of plant in Thailand
🙏🇹🇭❤️
ผมอิจฉาคุณมาก
สวัสดีครับ
ไข่ปลาหมึก
Some Thai people misunderstood lime with lemon for west plants. They use English dictionaries word book or from google translation directly lemon which not same plant type species to replace Thai lime one.
Ohhhh I see!!
for us we call lime and lemon the same in Thai word. Ma-nao
Oh interesting!!
Lemon and lime is the same word! You’d only really differentiate by saying if it’s green or yellow :)
Oooooh interesting!
@@2Passports1Dreamคนไทยส่วนมากจะรู้คำว่า เลม่อน. มากกว่า. ไลม์ ครับ

I apologize to you but the black gyoza. Made from charcoal flour with only 10% chicken, 90% shrimp, 40% mashed shrimp and 50% shredded shrimp. This menu is made for people who don't eat pork but can eat chicken. @Kingdumpling gyoza Phuket ❤❤
Hello!! Thank you for clarifying, maybe we got confused because it said only shrimp. They are delicious though 🥰
พ่อค้าบอกไม่เผ็ดแต่พริกลอยหน้าเลย 🤣
😂
หนุ่มๆสถานีมีหอยบ่นคิดถึงคุณทั้ง2ครับ😂😂
Lemon and lime are both Manow (มะนาว) in Thai, but both were marketed as Lemon in Thailand. Some people called Manow as Lemon and Manow Luang (มะนาวเหลือง) or Yellow Lemon as Lemon. While some are just using Lemon as Manow and Lemon as (Actual) Lemon. You got me? lol
Oh that’s interesting!! Thank you
ขนม กาละแม อร่อยไหมคะ

LIME/LEMON "same/same" in Thailand and Mexico and many other countries. You just do not see lemons much in Thailand
😂 Not 100% sure you know what "tickle our pickle" means. What a cutie
👀👀👀😂
Pity the 15% off is only off the FULL price. I just tested it & on the pair of shoes I picked it was actually $16 MORE after the discount than if I'd bought them direct with the discount that is already on most items (i.e. not with your link). I think I'd be having a word with them!!.
Just to clarify, the everyday classics are $99 direct, with your link they come to $115 (15% off $135)
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! That definitely shouldn't be happening

just out of curiosity.. how you dont ge stomach upset by eating or drinking so many things in one day ..mixture of things in tummy.. 😅😅
Not sure! We never do haha. Maybe we’re used to it
Why the concern about coriander? Allergies?
We think it tastes like soap and it completely ruins a dish for us
@@2Passports1Dream Very interesting. Never heard anybody describe it that way!
These are tourists, not travellers. Follow xpat RUclips channels, not people on vacation who are clueless about language and culture 🤷🙄👍💯
I can speak/understand a lot of Thai and know a lot about the culture. We lived here’s for over 2 years. Bit rude to judge from one video.
I think Lemon & Lime are not differentiated in Thai
Oh interesting!
