    Weldone in the explanation of the BYD & it's functions. I've noticed people who do reviews including recognised companies who do car reviews as a job criticize some features but actually don't understand the settings. You've explained what the settings do and what the car is capable of. I'm impressed with the spec and the car and ordered and picking one up on January 24. Thank you for taking the time to go through things and provide these types of videos, they are valuable as I've always said Visual is better than trying to read manuals👏👍😁 from the UK
    I honestly don't know why car companies/Manufacturers don't produce CDs along with the manual it would make things easier 🤷‍♂️

    Excellent video sir, very informative. Its a new world order nowadays so I suspect BYD may be intentionally leaving it to vid-bloggers like yourself to explain the real world operating details, rather that producing their own material/useful manuals, etc. Keep up the good work cause my Atto should be here in June and you're my short cut to knowing what to expect/where to find features. As an side and fellow GC residents, I enjoy playing 'spot the landmark' during your vids.

    Thanks for the detailed descriptions of these features. I've always feathered the brake when coming to a stop to perform, so-called, chauffeur stops. I didn't know that the Atto 3 achieved the same thing with the Comfort Parking feature. I'll need to try this out.

It's truly commendable to see someone of your age having such a grasp on these intricacies. Demonstrating them in practice was extremely beneficial. Keep up the great work!

    Some of the things I find unsatisfactory on a $50 plus car. I hate the small screen indicator colours. Some are pale with almost no contrast. This is a safety concern when driving fast and a tiny unreadable sign pops up. Do I spend time at speed trying to read it or ignore it? Colours include pale yellow, orange etc - impossible to read when in bright sunlight. The handbook does not include the letter ‘j’ which makes it difficult to find jacking points!. Much of the book is written in Chinglish . A fixed head rest is very uncomfortable on a long drive. Auto dipping lights dip on a bend with reflective signs and take far too long to restore to high beam. Automatic wipers would be much more useful. The lane keeping warning can sound can activate at any time and become very annoying when the car is travelling at speed. The radar settings are too sensitive and cause the car to brake sometimes when a car is coming the opposite way or you are traversing a bend and the radar sees a tree off the road in a paddock. The only door opening Button is on the RHS which means the LHS car user has to put shopping on the ground to get a key to open the LHS door. I could continue with design faults but the general drive train, suspension, battery management system is excellent. 30:26

    He he's also confused. Check video part 5:30, he said "example of lane changing alert" when it should be blind spot detection indicator.😅 Also 10:24 he said "ignition cycle", but there is no ignition of fuels in an all-electric car. But overall, it is a good video tutorial. Saved me from reading heaps of pages of user manual. Big thanks.

      Thanks for your input, I appreciate the comment, it allows me to to reduce confusion. in relation to your comment "he said "example of lane changing alert" when it should be blind spot detection indicator", I see your point and agree, some what. I used the term of the manual which says that you will receive an alert, your other comment "he said "ignition cycle", but there is no ignition of fuels in an all-electric car." Yes, ignition is commonly referred to when ignite fuel. But it can be used to describe turning on power. The wording I used was from the manual. It refers to when the power is on, as ignition. in fact, its uses the term ignition, 98 times.I tried to keep the terminolgy as close to the manual as possible without confusion. In the video I tried to take the confusion away so owners and propective owners could appricate the power of the Atto 3. Again, thank you, cheers

    Hi. Thank you for very good video with lots of valuable information. Could you please provide also info about the software version in your car infotatment system?. I have BYD Han in Norway, but there is no "TSR" option in the software settings.. It doesn't display on the behind the steering wheel screen, which is not only ridicules, but it's just shame in 2024. Especially for car so expensive in comparison to cheaper car models on the market which have TSR system as a basic future..

    Apparently the Owners Manual is not the usual printed manual you get with any other car, but a PDF download from the website, yes it is a bit useless, a friend of ours got one and we used RUclips as the manual was not a great deal of help, even using the radio was a bit difficult the first time. Also the service history is stored electronically rather than in a physical book.

    This is great stuff, thanks. Great demonstration of comfort parking, I had no idea what it did.
    One thing I still find very confusing under the lane support system (LSS) menu is the fact that, the first "Lane Assist" item has an option that is OFF but the final toggle switch, "Emergency Lane Keeping Assist" also represent ON/OFF switch. So... are these two different systems? If so, what is the difference between lane assist and emergency lane keeping? Does alert mode apply just to one or both?

    • @BYD_Telsa
      @BYD_Telsa  Год назад +1

      Good question. Lane Keeping System has two modes, assist warns you with an alarm of an impending departure and prevention stops you departing.

    • @argada
      @argada Год назад

      @@BYD_Telsa I currently have lane assist set to OFF combined with emergency Lane toggle ON. What I've observed is it no steeling wheel feedback and no loud alerts, but occasionally, get some flashes of "emergency auxiliary lane something something" (along with very subtle ding sound) usually when lanes merge with complex road marking.
