Nope! That voice is unmatched by any except maybe Nina Simone, Lee Moses, a few... a few but Patsy is the cream of the cream. And her beauty and composure, her firmness with reality. Unreal, supersonic...
I'm an African American female, and my daddy introduced me to country music with this song. It's one of my favorite songs. Thank you, Daddy. Rest in heaven and know your baby girl loves you. I'll see you on the other side.
I am-4 4 years old and grew up in the 80s listening to stupid 80s music and then early R&B and rap in the rain 80s and early 90s. But I'll tell you, my grandparents, especially my grandmother, introduced and opened my eyes to the most beautiful music in the world. We had a jukebox in our restaurant for years. That's where I learned about Patsy and Ray Charles and Etta James. ❤❤❤❤
She was (and still is) THE VERY BEST. She is a female Elvis wearing cowboy clothes. Her voice is a balsam for my ears. I would like to listen to her even if she sand happy birthday or any of the crrapp music we hear today (Park your Lexus….bla bla).
Love Patsy. Can't even imagine the hit song Patsy would of had, had she not died in that plane crash. She accompanied so much in the short time she was with us. 58 yrs after her death...fans & the music industry still talk about Miss Patsy Cline.
Watching her sing here, she looks like a beautiful movie star. The quality is tops. The performance takes you to another place. This film is very theatrical like watching a movie. You just don't get that these days.
Im 92 and I remember when this first aired on the radio it was a big hit me and my girlfriend used to dance in the living room song sing to try la la la la triangle good times they were long past RIP Patsy
We’ve lost some really great country artists like the fantastic Patsy Cline, but we still have their records ensuring they live on forever in the hearts of country and popular music lovers around the world. God bless Patsy, thanks for the memories❤️❤️
A definite one-of-a-kind there will never be another like her her daughter Julie is a most wonderful lady her own self very kind very polite and also quite lovely just like her mom
Now we also just lost Loretta Lynn on October 4, 2022. She died at age 90. She lived a very long, happy, productive life! Loretta’s and Patsy’s legacies have endured the test of time.
She is one of the greatest female singers of the 20 th century, her voice will go on for centuries! We lost her too soon ! I will play her songs til I die!
This was performed the same year I was born! Patsy Cline is one of my favorites....Ever! My dear sweet mother was a Singer/Professional musician and I remember her singing many of her songs when I was very young. Patsy Cline was one of the Greatest! As was my mom (Elly)
I've loved and lost again Oh, what a crazy world we're livin' in True love has no chance to win I've loved and lost again I ask you what chance have I When each love I meet just makes me cry He loves awhile then says goodbye I've loved and lost again To be true to one alone Don't seem to matter anymore They tell you you're out of style Unless you've had three or four I've loved and lost again Oh, what a crazy world we're livin' in True love has no chance to win I've loved and lost again To be true to one alone Don't seem to matter anymore They tell you you're out of style Unless you've had three or four I've loved and lost again Oh, what a crazy world we're livin' in True love has no chance to win I've loved and lost again...
well the audio of course is dubbed in --that is not the audio of her singing into that exact microphone. They switch back to the stage microphone after the song fades out.
Tex was such a presence. Even talking to the audience, you could feel each word and expression he made. He was in the background on Marty Robbin's El Paso Video. At the end he says "now that's a song". The worst thing about yesterday is that it's almost a memory.
Beautiful Patsy! We still love you here in 2024, still miss you! I was just 4 when you left us, but thought you looked and sang like some beautiful angel. You were an earth angel for 33 years, a Heavenly angel ever since.
+Lisa Alkana I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC! Why must you put down Country music or something? If you like this, then you do like Country Music. Admit it. Stop being such a music snob. Country Music is the best genre of music ever created. Next to Classical.
Country music is by no means my preferred genre but I grew up with Patsy Cline. My grandma would always teach my cousin and I her songs and we would sing them and she recorded us. One of my dearest memories and therefore miss Patsy is so very special to me! What a voice. I’m 30 now and I can’t even imagine how much she had left to give the world.
many thanks for these clips...really brought back memories....and both my parents cried when she past....those were the days of meaningful music....to have lost such a wonderful and beautiful soul at such a young age....
I just love this song in fact I downloaded and sang a duet with her I loved her as a boy and I love her now. How I wish she was here with us again. She sings her heart

She has impeccable. Vocal phrasing Right as she is winding up a vocal swell and she wags her gead slightly but very subtle Its like she is trying to keep a perfect metronome so her. Vocal phrase wind out at the perfect point. She is bloody flawless and sings from her heart
that lady really was an exceptional talent. her perfect pitch with every note straight on point, her phrasing, the depth in her voice, her flexibility, her delivery with words - even that early in her career. there are only VERY few voices that can keep up with hers.
Tex Ritter, father of John. Tex was a true icon in the 1950s. Thanks Tex, angels sing in heaven and I am sure the both of you are singing your hearts out.
my grandpa always used to play his patsy cline CD in his car. even though im not a fan, I learned every song on it by heart. i miss you grandpa. rest in piece.
+Littlenympho86 She really came into her sound right before she died. "Sweet Dreams" and "Faded Love" are spectacular. Her voice and ability to convey raw emotion make her irreplacable.
Patsy Cline lived in Los Angeles for a time in the late fifties....she also appeared on 'You Bet Your Life'...with Groucho Marx...hung out sometimes at the 'Gold Cup' coffee shop on Hollywood and vine..!.
The amount of swagger this woman had in the 50's is so insane. There has been no other woman like her before or since.
Nope! That voice is unmatched by any except maybe Nina Simone, Lee Moses, a few... a few but Patsy is the cream of the cream. And her beauty and composure, her firmness with reality. Unreal, supersonic...
She’s so fn cool right

Her voice and stylings are unmistakable.
Gone before I was born but NEVER FORGOTTEN
Every female country singer loves and hates Patsy Cline. Love her voice and hate the fact that she set the eternally unattainable height of the bar.
If all of them only knew Patsy Cline would become the best an more famous than ever could be imagined!
It's 2022 and Patsy Cline was a beautiful woman.

This is very classic Patsy Cline. She almost effortlessly carried the show w/ her beautiful & distinctive voice, and her strong personality.
Hands down, one of the best voices ever. Any music.
When I hear Patsy Cline my heart skips a beat.❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Patsy's original goal was to be a singing cowgirl...it was a manager that talked her into wearing gowns and cocktail dresses later on.
She is one of the greatest female singers of the 20 th century, her voice will go on for centuries! We lost her too soon ! I will play her songs til I die!
No one could hold a candle to Patsy Cline. Greatest singer of all time.
+Shane Wright Agree!
