Tragic Details About Patsy Cline

  • Patsy Cline may have died at the age of 30 more than half a century ago, but she remains a household name and a musical icon, well beyond the borders of traditional country music. Born into poverty and an unstable household during the Great Depression, Cline was nonetheless a very bright child who developed her own talent through curiosity, self-directed practice, and belief in her own unique gifts. Her early recording contracts were downright predatory, and she didn't see success that made a difference in her day-to-day until shortly before her death. This is the tragic real-life story of Patsy Cline.

She is buried at the pretty graveyard with the fountain I think and I'm not even sure if the house on Kent is where she lived it is definitely a museum made for her there though!! Winchester used to be the Apple capital of the world! Facts!!😎💯 Rip Pasty

Patsy Cline was the "James Dean" of the Music Industry, in that their career lasted only
a few short years, but forever remembered! It was especially important to me because
my 44 year old mother died the same week, i.e. Mar. 9th,1963, as Patsy,(March 5th,'63)
so their deaths coincide in my memory! Love & R.I.P. Patsy & Mother! We loved you!

My Grammy always had me sing walking after midnight to her when I was growing up and that sparked my interest in patsy cline. I always take it as a huge compliment when I’m told I have a patsy cline sound to my voice. Crazy to think what she would have accomplished if she took that car ride, but her statement shows the kind of strong woman she was 🖤

Never listened to country music until i visited a friend of the family and she played some of Patsy's records. When i heard her singing i had to ask, who is she? After that, i did my own research, watched documentaries about her death, bought all her music, cried after watching her movie and learned so much about her life.😢 Today, i still listen to her music and enjoy watching her singing on RUclips ❤ She was special, 🙏 🙏 RIP

After he passed in 1965 my Mother couldn't bear to hear them. I love old country music and keep them in my CD changer in my car. Keeps me grounded; never forget where you came from. I'm sure Patsy never forgot either.😘

We found out that the only one in Virginia was in Winchester. We drove about an hour north and got married in historic Winchester. It was the first time I had ever been into downtown Winchester. We married in the historic district and I couldn't help but think that I was walking were Patsy once walked. Beautiful place and a must see.
