I have the same car with 330 at the wheels. Did it with the 2ZZ engine. Intercool it and there is so much you can do with that K20 that you could get 600 hp easily. BOE in the states who built mine has a 520 hp version that they say hits you like a bat.
That noise from the k20 and the supercharger is a match made in heaven and since it has no traction control you would be able to sling it round every corner pretty nicely 😂 would love to see this thing in a tracl battle great vid as always !

Had the pleasure of looking after a friends 300bhp Exige (Supercharged Toyoto 2ZZ) in 2019, can confirm it was a savage car. The grip even on a set of very old and worn A048s it was silly, absolutely rapid. We took it to Cadwell and Donnington and shared the driving, and even though at 6'1" I didn't quite fit, and the tyres were a bit useless, it was an absolute blast to drive.
Bloody awesome thing! ive got a 420hp 2 litre turbo 2zz one, its bloody bonkers, loads of torque and power all the way to 8500. Its a smaller GTX2863R so has very little lag. My friends got a 500hp one and its even more insane. So much fun to drive these cars

A lot of Lotus purists pontificate about the weight of the S/C K20 and the slightly higher centre of gravity. They should be made to ride in a converted one, the acceleration is like a drug. Might be cheaper to modify a VX220....
Im in Warrington, Surprisingly I have never seen this car but it is really cool, if you want to come back up here I have an 80s Carbon Reliant Scimitar with 400bhp per ton I suspect it would be upside this in terms of acceleration if not faster. home built in a shed by two idiots, more than happy to let you have a go.

This, to me, looks a bit of a dog's dinner, a bit too much. I know too much is usually just enough (like the Z car), but this looks like a dated (modern) car tarted up. That said, I'd bloody love one! Boomtime!
Back in 2009 I bought a new Exige 240PP LSD and a few other bits , although it "only" has 240 bhp its mental enough for me with that Toyota 2ZZ engine supercharged and revving to 8,500 . I can only imagine how quick a K20 is My factory figures were 0-60mph 3.9 0-100mph 9.9 . One advantage is the Exige has the AP Racing 4 pot calipers and larger dia discs
Any idea what the rear diffuser is? I know its not standard but curious which one it is! Also go steady with those RC injectors - they were shocking on my exige!
What does this car weight? Looks pretty badass for sure. If I wasn't able to get an allocation for my 22 Porsche 718 Spyder I would have bought the Lotus Emira for sure.
Besides the wing very sexy car, had an s2 111s with many komotec mods, great cars but the looks is just too small, a v6 exige is where it's at but taxes for that car over here are stupid.
I'd definitely go with a supercharger with this application, instant power, and even throughout the rev range, a turbo could come on boost mid corner causing oversteer, which can be hard to tame in such a snappy, short, chassis as these 😳😉 A ton of fun either way 😉👍🏼

If you saw how small the flywheel is on those engines it amazes me they do not slip.

I think the K20 lends itself better to supercharging, you get that instant low end response with the Vtec up top.

People don't tend to turbo the Elises as you can't fit it all the extra stuff in the engine bay. Keeping it cool is an issue as well.
