great job with all the videos for building this bender, may I ask where to acquire the heating element you are using to support the bend?

Thank you. I got it on aliexpress, I can't remember the exact store, but here is what I found: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005973375241.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.1.9c73188c9RuUJ0&algo_pvid=2f9d9ae2-e845-46ab-93d2-95b96221835b&algo_exp_id=2f9d9ae2-e845-46ab-93d2-95b96221835b-0&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21NZD%2197.88%2148.94%21%21%21418.83%21%21%402101d8b516961895368814179eb010%2112000035119802235%21sea%21NZ%21981573628%21&curPageLogUid=bfXpZPHmgOwG

Stapleton Guitars: I like the simple design you came up with. Was a thermometer of some sort not necessary or was the temperature control on the blanket sufficient? Did heat up take about 15 minutes before bending?

The whole process of bending one side takes around eight minutes or so, and you need to cool it down after to avoid the spring back effect. The temperature control on the blanket is sufficient enough to rely on it.

hmm, a rolling pin attached to the springs comes to mind... just givin'r the steam roller effect 🤔

Thank you for these videos. Could I ask you what kind of steel you are using, and how thick it is?

I use stainless steel plates 0.5mm thick, and 150mm wide.
