22:16 I was confused at first, but it immediately clicked after hearing the theme that this was a [#1 rated salesman 1997] level!!! So glad Ryu got a taste of being a [BIG SHOT]!!!
After seeing so much "sans" levels that can barely be recognizable as so, i had close to no expectation after hearing "big shot" theme.
But damn... that level was created by GENIUS! It's so authentic, he even replicated attacks, and music keep flowing even if you stand still. I'm amazed.

Do you really hate that i bring "sans levels" that much? Well, sorry to say, but "sans battle" level and "BigShot battle" level are definitely of the same type in mariomaker, and it's only fair to compare them, regardless whether originals are the same game or not. Not even mentioning that deltarune and undertale have VERY close relation.

24:15 entity limit, every time you kill an enemy it opens a slot for some other enemy to spawn from an off-screen pipe, when all Ludwigs are killed the next enemy that spawns is the muncher that explodes the bomb.
This is what I figured, but I wasn't sure.

That star bounce off of the spike top is definitely one of the coolest random things I've seen in this game, lol.
The song at 22:09 is actually the "A real Boy" theme from Deltareune Chapter 2 (the sequel to Deltarune chapter 1, which is the sequel/prequel/alternate version of Undertale) following the Spamton Neo boss fight and the big part before it at 22:00 is in reference to Spamton saying big shot a lot. the song during the fight is Big Shot from the spamton neo fight. the heart in the fight is a reference to spamton's heart on a string attack (thank you to @Clinton Behrends for reminding me of that attack), and the clown car with fire is used instead of just the normal one to simulate your soul flying around is because, during the spamton neo fight, your heart can shoot quick shots and charged "[bIg sHoTs]" as spamton calls them. the part at the end says pipis in reference to the little blue egg-shaped things in deltarune called pipis.
the heart is actually a reference to his wire heart attack

Its smart to keep your main bread and butter channel to one thing that way its consistent and reliable and you'll know easily how to build with it and number tracking on it can make sense. If you were to throw a bunch of random content on it and numbers spiked, but then tanked and went all over the place from time to time you would have trouble knowing why. So keeping the random content ot a separate channel is equally as good of an idea. Keeps everything clean and where it needs to be, makes it much easier on you too.

One-way walls are loaded from the moment the area loads regardless of if they were on screen upon loading. So by placing a bunch of them you can create areas where you can't progress until a specific number of enemies die? Pipes and blocks can't spawn anything if 100 items are loaded but enemies can still be loaded regardless of if this limit is met.

The cannons just before the end can break the grey blocks, you don't need the key, just let them do their job and they'll open up the way! Not world record strats, but better than finding the hidden key!

It's so stupid when people make levels that require you to find a random hidden block in order to complete the level, most of the uncleared levels aren't skill based they're just levels with a random hidden block with a key in it.
Also Ryu that hidden block finding power up that would make you vibrate when close is actually genius, Nintendo hire this man!

Been watching Ryu for years, and the channel split was kinda good for me because I am mostly interested in the Mario content. I do watch the pokemon stuff, and games I dont know anything about, but its not my main draw. That said, I understand branching out to different platforms to increase the audience size, but Ive increasingly begun to feel like I am expected to go all over the internet to consume Ryu's content. I dont like Twitch, I dont care for TikTok, so I feel like Im being left behind sometimes... I would like to see the rom hacks being played on the channel, but not as shorts. Anyway, just a fan oppinion, happy newyear!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: for Mario Maker 3, just don't have hidden blocks on launch, as an experiment to see what the game looks like with 3/4s of trolling capability gone. Can always add them in later when the horrible truth comes out that the bulk of level creators only get the game to be assholes. :P
The mario is what I watch for, so I'm good with this channel being dedicated to it
In Mario maker 3 please just make invisible blocks transparent. It's not like they couldn't function the same anyway, but you couldn't have levels with mandatory hidden power ups
You should get the program that DGR Dave has that allows you to download a JPG map of Mario Maker levels and reveal hidden blocks.

Then you should do a half the cost for sponsored videos on the second Ryu channel to get more sponsors.
