- We caught a tonne of crazy wet departures from the Polderbaan after they switched operations. But this has to be the best! I think it even trumps the Jumbo just for sheer engine noise 🤷🏼♂️
Rolls Royce Trent XWB’s at full flex - listen to those big 3 meter Titanium fan blades ‘clattering’. Probably using a decent amount of her 97,000LB of available thrust sucking-up 1.3 tonnes of air PER SECOND 💪🏻

Hi! I’m watching from Tasmania, Australia! Just discovered your channel! I’m not an airplane officianado, but I love watching them! Love your commentary and British accent! Spent a few days and nights, laying on the bed of the runway at sydney’s Kingsford smith airport, watching the landings and takeoffs go right over us! Yes incredibly dangerous but soooo exhilarating , this was back in the late 70’s early 80’s, and there’s no way you’d get away with it now.
OMG That was brilliant!! The engine sound was good but the anticipation by myself and my pal watching this was made even better by the very late but expected "WOW" at the end. Sooooooooooooooooo worth it..
reminds me - as a lad - of Rolls-Royce Dart engine as fitted the Viscount.

Seems to be a common A350 thing in the wet, they always use full power. Happens a lot at Manchester in the rain, which is pretty much daily lately.

Lovley sound from those trent engines,we've just come back from naples with tui to manchester and yes it was a wet arrival ad usual we were with my grandson it was his first time on a plane the crew were magnificent they took him to cockpit and took his photo in the pilots seat ,cheers
