I was hoping you'd make something like this! Great editing - I love the sense of patience in your videos. You really let the shots and the music speak for themselves at key moments.
One thing I was hoping you'd talk about are the bar-lights above your framed paintings in your studio. They look fantastic in the backdrops of your videos. Are they a product easily purchasable online? Thanks!

Well thank you for making my year Vaati. (And validating this gruelling month of editing)
The lights and frames are both from IKEA - they should be in the section around the ceiling light fixtures
PS - I’m counting the days until Soul Arts is released, reviewing it on my channel will be a uniquely special moment for me and my viewers

@@AdamDuffArt Ahh, IKEA. I'll check it out next time I go.
I'll admit to having a guilty hope that you'd eventually review Soul Arts on your channel. I've consumed all of your art book reviews and happily expanded my collection, so thank you for that! I was planning to encourage the publisher to send out some review copies once we're at that stage of production. I'll try to reach out then :)

It warms my heart how much you authentically support them. You have a unique gift at highlighting what matters most to artists and the work they put into their pieces

All jokes aside, I'm so happy and proud for you-- you have more than earned this, Adam!
I appreciate all this attention to detail, well researched and chosen equipment and designated spaces for gaming, working, and filming, and the mood, choice of furniture + colour scheme are so clean and still give a very natural feel-- may I also point out the photo frames, plants and scented candles I noticed dotted around the place. As someone who is absolutely surrounded by plants and scented candles, Love that!

This was lovely, inspiring and my jaw dropped like 6 times in this video. Not only did you put incredible care and attention into buying your setup, but also arranging it in a way that works seemingly perfect. One can definitely see how much you care about this stuff and I for one would deem this studio perfect. 100%, absolutely in awe. Great job man, killer video and the sick editing didn't go unnoticed either!

This video brings so much joy.
First of all, I absolutely love the setup, there's no doubt about that.
About the video, from the beginning to the end, it just keeps getting better. The transitions, the graphics, showing the exact names of the products, the way you divide the product's code/name and its manufacturer. The different style/feeling for each of the video's parts... Incredible. And your calm voice is also great!
I have so much respect for the passion and skill you put into making these videos.
Also, a bit off-topic, more book review videos, please, they are awesome!

Finally new video. Thank you Adam for sharing it with us. Your philosophy on setting up your studio is pretty much in lined with mine. After "work from home" situation happened...finally got my desk and room setup the way I like it. Though I'm more towards simplicity and minimalistic side. Got similar standing desk to yours from Omnidesk. Super stable and freakin heavy.
Your video is just so pleasing to watch even though my mind is just screaming when i see lots of cables :D. This clearly shows an artist who knows his stuff in terms of combination of colors that work or don't work. Most of the time when I see other people setup on social media is more like "aarrghh mah eyesss" . And your passion definitely shows. Wow, first thing I noticed was everything is so clean! Not one speck of dust or smudges. How do you do it? I don't need all this tech or have a clue about setting up such a studio but its beautiful. And the editing is just awesome! I love your use of edelkrone gear. I really need to start using mine! Very inspiring video and awesome products. Greg

hey, absolutely love your setup. Appreciated all the details regarding audio equipment especially!
I have a question regarding not the subject of the video itself but a postproduction. What did you use to add chromatic aberration effects, transitions glitches etc, AE plugins? I you could deep-dive on this I would greatly appreciate

Awesome setup, especially the wool pads and Ikea worktop -going to look at getting those.
Just a note though, at 14:50 the a6400 is labelled incorrectly as an A7iii. Awesome video though, I really appreciate the time you put into these videos, this has given me lots of ideas for my new setup. Got an Ikea board but not sure how to mount it without drilling as I'm in a rented accommodation, any ideas for this?

Crap - I knew I’d screw something up - you’re the first to spot it, thank you!
As for the Skadis boards - yeah, you’re gonna have to drill but it’s only 2 small holes for the bracket

It’s always been this way. If you go back in time to the Renaissance for example, an art studio would be full of pigment mixing stations and notebooks and pallets of herbs and minerals and oils for mixing color. You might find blocks of marble or clay for sculpting and moulds for brass and bronze casting. What I’m saying is that art studios have always been full of equipment and tools and materials. If you consider that everything now is digital, and these people have to record everything and film tutorials all day long, and publish their art online, it does make more sense.
