Thank you for sharing this part of your life with us. I don't know about anyone else but I was totally moved with inspiration and admiration. I also have over 2000 books in my possession and now feel I am not alone with my passion for art books. These videos are such a gift for us aspiring artists. I am so grateful. Don't know if this is politically correct.. but God Bless You for sharing your enthusiasm and your personal space!!!
Just recently got involved with Watts and I must say it is a very inspiring program. And like Jeff, I love the old books. Both searching them out and then finally placing them in a collection. It's an art form unto itself.
Great Studio tour Jeff! I especially loved your book collection, dads photo and Dean Cornwall original. When my teacher John Murray moved to Tuscan, all of our portrait class chipped in to buy him a drawing! He was a Reilly student so very valuable teaching... which is why I enjoyed your old videos teaching! Love your natural ability to Communicate in a sincere fashion… Missing these days! Keep staying humble I admire your humility. Good luck in your new space I think it’s awesome!
WOW!!! Wonderful and beautiful artist, great guy. Has it all together! Wish I could. Didn't need the "mammie oak'em" granny bun, his art speaks for itself. Thanks Watts
so inspiring. its nice to see a well organized studio. most artists ive seen have a messy studio. i know artists are all busy but this is really well organized.
Hello Sir, this is the first time l ever know about you, my apologies because l found you till now. But as the adage says "When ready you find the Master" you are so inspiring and sounds so much to give to others. You mentioned that you are teaching online l will definitely going to look for. Thank you.
Thank-you for sharing this awesome workspace! If I could go back 30 years I'd do so many things differently with one being proper training to improve my skills. So much inspiration in this video.
!st of all thank you for sharing your studio (amazing), 2nd) Thank you for sharing your wisdom, knowledge and tips. I wish I had a teacher like you back in my days. your truly an inspiration
Thanks so much for this video, very inspirational. Love surrounding my easels with the things I love...just have to fight the clutter on a daily basis.
I find the intro so cool and extremely simple, it is not overdone and looks like it introduces a master artist. I actually played it over a couple of times. Hahaha.
Thanks for helping people. I just built a new painting studio and also a recording studio that's through the airlock. And a smallish shop area. I'm raring to go and catch up with some lost years. Thanks for the inspiration and I hope you get a lot of years to continue!
watching this gets me both really excited; and really sad too. Like so many would-be Illustrators/Artists, this studio really embodies what I used to dream of attaining someday: but now I realise that it is too late for me to ever know what having a space like this to work in; would feel like. You have to EARN a studio like this, but so many of us get 'blown-off' the path along the way, and end up stopping drawing for some reason or another (usually from having sub-standard training and teaching in the first place) - I did - and now I'll never have the tower of drawers filled with my back-catalogue of works. I am bouyed though at seeing that at least SOMEONE out there has managed to keep it up over the long years - to persevere and reach those heights of skill and experience: I wish I'd had Jeff Watts as my teacher!!!
I teared down for this guy I appreciate your effort and every single thing you explained it and surely your wife is very proud because you are one of the best... congratulations to you work wow 'honours' that's huge award!!!
I love nerdy old books as well. I have a great many obscure oddities when it comes to art books, but I can't stand to even think about getting rid of them. 😊
W😀 W!!! Yours is my kind of studio! I'm immediately hooked on your attitude, dedication, ongoing learning, character. I'm relocating now, from an attic studio, that I love, to a basement room. Facing organizational dilemma. Your studio tour is so inspirational! You have all the things in there, that I also find necessary to be surrounded by. So many people think I should "get rid off" books, supplies, my past efforts... viewing your tour has put more wind in my sails. I feel more clear headed & ready to tackle my studio project. I am very interested in any future sessions you schedule. Would very much appreciate a schedule of upcoming events. Much Thanks!!! Gloria Brothers ( aka: Leah SkyBird)
Hey Jeff Watt... the video is very inspirtional to me ...I sow Loard Ganesha idols in your studio...As we know Loard Ganesha is a symbol of Art 🙏🙏 Thanks
Wow, I really enjoyed this! It's artists like you, who inspire me, and make me realize how beautiful, this artist's gift, my dad gave me, when I was being formed in the womb. was this a run-on sentence?
Those paintings you did are amazing, I wish I could see more of them online. I notice you don’t upload images of your paintings that much. Wish i could look through that library as well.
Those Nikolai Fetchin books are a treasure, his daughter donated the house he built to the city of Taos and it is restored and a magnificent museum, a New Mexico landmark.
Good lord Jeff is such an inspiration. Even when he's just doing his MTV's Cribs

Ur comment motivated me to start drawing again! Thanks!!!
Awesome book collection. You should release more books of your work. More sketchbooks of your work.
Love the collection of books. I'm about halfway there myself. I love to go to used bookstores to find my books rather than buying from Amazon.
Mmm, I think I have studio envy ;) Fantastic space.

Guilty!
I have your book that I purchased from Amazon. Really good book to study from. Nice studio you have.
What a cool space
That is a crazy studio.
Wow, that was a very inspirational video : )
I’d be interested in seeing his library book list!
Great new studio Jeff, I wish you tons of productivity, victory, and discovery in this new space!
Those paintings you did are amazing, I wish I could see more of them online. I notice you don’t upload images of your paintings that much. Wish i could look through that library as well.

Inspiring
3:23 hey the proko skull!

Sure is!
I would love to have a studio like that.
Can you show all that drawings in the drawer asap? Tnx...,☺️
I practically slept with Bernie Wrightson: A Look Back under my pillow back in the 90's. I recognize that spine anywhere!
Great video, I would love a book list idea video - have you done one?
Does anyone know the big art desk he's using? The last one in the video for sketchbooks and inking where he talks about natural light.
Great organization
I wish I could attend this. Maybe someday. My dream is to be able to go to America to study art. I live in South Africa.
I love it, everything looks really organized. Its probably the lack of matching furniture that makes it look somewhat chaotic.
Overall, inspiring!
Matching furniture is so over rated.
Looks like a really cool art supply store.
Do you have a TOP 10 must read? Thanks☺️
Great video.
I think it is safe to say that we all just love you.
Man I can't wait for the in person Atelier to open up again
damn i am missing only Ikea office chair.. hhaaha. anyway. Thank you very much for the tour it was very interesting!
Those Nikolai Fetchin books are a treasure, his daughter donated the house he built to the city of Taos and it is restored and a magnificent museum, a New Mexico landmark.

Would be very interested in knowing your stretching routine... the easel cramp is REAL after like 6-7 hrs
So cool!
Very nice.
I wonder which version of Schmid's Alla Prima book he has?
