Thanks Tyler, I like these types of videos that look outside the box for viable options on the water.

I enjoyed this. I would definitely watch a series of just this if you made it.

Those Tassies slay the trout on Shasta and Orrville. Those trout forage threadfin shad year round and they're suckers for fast presentations that mimic bait fish.

I've used the tazzies devils for a long time now. It's my go to lure when I'm struggling. Trolling that tazzies lure will out produce the other lures as far as trolling is concerned. Orange works well during lady bug hatch.

Great Video! I ordered Five darts, can't wait to take them fishing. Was only able to get the 3 gram version.

It's good to think outside the box! The Japanese twig's action reminds me of a plastic worm trolled behind an action wiggle disc.

The tassie would account for ninety percent of the trout caught trolling down in Australia.

Fun video. Those Tasmanian Devil lures do best with a cast and jig retrieve, they need to flutter on the fall. Hawg Quest used to use them a lot for fall brown fishing.

Great video! I have used tasmanian devils, they work great casting from shore for both trout and salmon.

Nice video and content. Aggressive fish eat almost anything! Neat to see what others have come up with to catch trout all over the world.
Keep the videos coming! Fish smarter and expand your knowledge.

By Japanese standards the 1.3 g Timon Bung is on the heavy side:). I've caught fish with it, but I would need to practice more to get consistent results. I can hear my teacher saying that adding a split shot might ruin the action -- I don't know as I have never fished it that way.

That bung might be a good bet ice fishing letting it sink a little more direct connection to the lure through the ice don’t have a hard time imagining a trout taking that into its mouth and spitting it without ever giving any indication of a hit

I like the action on that Twig too. Another hook near the front would retard the action of the front but would not affect the back as much. I’d opt for a bladed VMC treble hook.
