I remember when I first found you back in 2018. You have progressed exponentially, my girl! Now I see you in ads in magazines. I've crocheted with you and your cat, watched you move your Dreambox IN, and then watched you give the thing away.... Toni, you have inspired me on so many levels! There have been times when I just turned on one of your videos because everything else was just so chaotic and yucky. You've never failed to calm and soothe me, no matter how frazzled I might be. I just wanted to thank you for putting in the work to get your dream. You'll never know how many others will have more faith and belief in themselves because of you.

So happy to see that your Mom has come to help with the packing and just spend some good times together with you and your husband.
I like how you have combined a well thought out design that encompasses elements from previous years with some delicious colours and a simple stitch choice.
I'm hoping that the packing is progressing nicely and wish you all the best, Toni.

I think I’ll do one starting at like the first of the year in 2023, and of course, it’ll be my first attempt. You’re such an amazing person and a beautiful inspiration! Thanks to your videos I did make a temperature blanket for my best friend with temperatures from 1981 her birth year and I like the idea so much to make them for special years going forward, I even put special yarn in for certain days. I love watching your videos. Keep them coming! I have an idea for a temperature blanket for 2023 and think you would be the perfect person to execute or to help figure out the best way to make this idea a reality. My idea is that instead of using the high, low, or average temp for the day we use both the high and the low where half of the row is the low and the other half is the high. In my head I see a blanket that has 2 distinct sides, especially here in Ohio where our high and low can be a 40 degree difference. I hope this idea makes sense. Please help make this idea a reality. You are the best. 😁

I'm definitely not a responsible crocheter!
Love this technique vs sewing squares together.
Made a hexagon granny temperature blanket. Worked perfectly with the numbers and I used oatmeal wool on the outer edge of the granny to surround the temperature centre of green and blue tones. It was for my husband for the first year after our wedding including our winter honeymoon in Jamaica. Those two weeks really stood out against the regular Canadian winter temps!
Looking forward to your finished project.

I still have a temperature blanket in work for 2020. 😅 I’m doing solid granny squares join as you go (with a method from Hooked by Robin), 18 by 21 squares. So it comes out to 378 squares, which is 12-13 extra (depending on leap years). So you add a square as a marker between months.

Love this. I wanted to use my stash yarn. All my velvet yarn specifically and I started the Pilson blanket using the velvet but even holding the yarn tight and going down a hook I still have worming on the back side. And it bothers me. After 3 strips done decided to keep the pattern the same but with this technique and it works up way faster and no worming 😅 thank you so much for sharing this video love all your amazing work. I kind of accidentally taught myself how to do this on the last blanket I started. I wanted to do squares on top of the vertical rows I had done and figured out how to do it lol. I have never seen anyone else do it before now. It’s like boarderless granny squares lol. Unfortunately the blanket is SO long and weird that I’m going to take it down and redo it all lol.

Thanks for a great tutorial! I was wondering if there is a reason you don't crochet over your ends as you go. I do that with crochet and knitting and have had great results. I do it because I don't like to weave ends. I also have a tendency to over-weave and sometimes pull too tightly. If the yarn is "slickery", I crochet/knit a couple of stitches with the yarn tail.
