I can’t even begin to express what an inspiration you have been. My husband passed away last year and hearing how you made it for your first year of marriage has inspired me to make one for our last year. Thank you for being you. God bless!
I am making a mood blanket in honor of my Dad who passed in February. I have been inspired by Toni as well! I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure this project will be very theraputic😍
Girl, you don’t give yourself enough credit! Your positivity, realness, passion, and joy in your craft, not to mention your skills paired with a clear ability to teach makes you a light in this online world. Bravo 👏🏾
Uggh...I just finished 3 afghans I'm making for gifts and told myself, "NEVER AGAIN" and then watching this...Toni I'm like, "OK I can do another blanket!" Is only because I love you!!!❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
I just finished my first temperature blanket. I did the linen stitch square you did. Every square in an important month in our family, and using historical data found all the months! Birthdays, getting pets, graduations, retirements, buying our families home. I CANT WAIT to gift this to my mom!
Wow! I've stayed away from temperature blankets for several reasons, but weaving in end is a big one. I love, love, LOVE the twisted tassels. They open up so many possibilities. Well done, and thank you for sharing.
Not a crocheter but a knitter. Your concept of doing the first year of your marriage has completely blown me away❤.next year 2024 is my brother's 40th anniversary and because of your inspiration I am going to do the year they got married. Thank you so much
Thank you Toni! Your blanket is lovely. You have inspired me to do one for my pregnancies. I have lung cancer and I'm trying to create memories for my children. I think this will be perfect
Toni I was diagnosed with ALK positive lung cancer 10 years ago and have gone through 2 surgeries, including brain surgery, radiation, and lots of medication (no chemo yet!) I currently have no evidence of disease. I want to give you hope!
You brought me back to crochet after stopping as a teenager. I am finally confident again to gift things. Even if they are not always perfect. Thank you so much for this amazing journey.
I am finishing up my 2023 temperature blanket, my first. I’m soooo with you on the finishing tasks. What a pain! 😂 I have woven in the ends and I’m now working on the border. I am proud of the fact that I have accomplished a year-long project, one that I jumped into with no research and no knowledge about temperature blankets. Mine was stitched in single crochet with 4 weight yarn. Let’s say she’s a beast!!! My toxic trait is overestimating how large I want projects to be, not measuring but just eyeballing. Well I do believe that I have cured myself of that by doing this blanket! Haven’t actually measured it, but I’m thinking queen size bed, and I’ll weigh it too, and get back to you 😂😂😂 I love your channel, and am going to dip into your wisdom before I start my 2024 blanket (which my daughter requested I make for her). I’m going back and forth between the linen stitch square and the blanket stitch in this video. (My grandmother taught me Tunisian crochet as a child ❤) Your wonderful spirit and willingness to share your expertise in a way that we all can understand, plus the obvious love that you put into every stitch have brought me this far, and will keep me inspired! Love you, girl ❤❤❤
Ok I just watched three of your temp blanket vids trying to muster up the inspo to finish mine AND resist starting another one 😂😅 I started one last year for the first year of my daughters life and celebrating my freedom from ppd. I’m halfway-ish and got sidetracked making a bunch of baby blankets for friends. BUT I had an AHA moment with your videos! The ultimatum I’m giving myself (lol) is that if I finish her blanket by April I can start one for my 30th year! (I turn 30 4/13 and I CANT WAIT). Having a temp blanket for the first year of my 30’s sounds really cool. So THANK YOU for helping the most indecisive person finally make a decision 😂
Believe it--you really are inspirational. You make it look easy but you're real about things, including that last 5%. I'm so impressed with you but also feel like I'm just hanging out with a friend (who knows more than I do!) when watching your videos. I never "got" Tunisian crochet before, but a single one of your videos had me making squares. Thanks for all you do. And the blanket is BEEYOOTEEFUL!
I have to say, when I started my first temperature blanket this year, I was scared of getting behind, also bc I have ADHD. But I set myself the rule that the first thing I crochet per day is my blanket and it has worked!!! The only thing I did fall behind on, was weaving in the ends. Next year I also wanna do a moss-square blanket, with a square for the highs and one for the lows sewn together every month.
Thanks for this great video, you are a sunshine, on any day,.Your enthusiasm is contagious,I was so happy to meet you in Rhineback,, thanks for the advise regarding the periodic table blanket,I can’t wait for your 2023 temp. blanket design pattern to be published,it is so beautiful !Happy Holidays, Judit
I’ve been waiting for this since Sewrella did her road trip collection. I’m daunted by the process but ur Bahama blanket really turned me on to chevrons, Sewrella’s yarn is gorgeous, and I love making blankets. I’m going to try my first year of marriage but it won’t be about temperature but instead be about locations. We drove all over Europe our first year and also spent 3 months trekking up and down the east coast of India, we also lived in Mexico for a couple of months so either locations will have colors or the temperatures of each location will have colors. I must try once again to get organized. I have lots of merino superwash fingerling yarn and I have time. Thank you for this gift Toni, it’s meaningful to me.
Of all your temperature blankets this one is my favorite. But they're all so beautiful! ❤ I gave my MIL her life in a temperature blanket for Christmas last year. She's 93! I started with her husband's birthday then added in hers up to when they started having kids. Added their actual birth date in for the years they were born then continued on until the 6 grandkids came along. I added them too and finished with her birthday in march last year. Using DK yarns made the blanket the perfect size and I made fringe to make it perfect. I had it done in about a month working on it like crazy. Thanks Toni for your inspiration!! Could not have done it without you ❤
If you taught me one thing this year Toni is to keep stitching through the dark times. A lot of things happened this year that made me lose all the happiness I once I had, but crochet was my therapy and your positive attitude and authentic reactions in every video this year kept me laughing and trying new things during the hard times. You have been one of the role models I've looked up to since starting to design crochet patterns, and with the new year coming, I'm ready to make it a side hustle and as long as you keep inspiring people of color like me, a Native American, you can do anything! Thanks for the effort you put in your videos
I've sewn, quilted, crafted, etc. alll my life with mommys guidance. I decided I wanted to learn to crochet because I wanted to add them on a quilt. I crocheted an afghan in HS (70s 😊) and haven't since. I'm ready so I've been on the hunt. I just had to go back to review your historic temp blanket. Just lovely. I think I like Tunisian crochet. Reality ck! I'll l start with a simple granny square😅. Glad I found your channel. 😊
I love to see you what crochet it makes me to make even more blankets I am just about it finish up my fall banket it going Cal. I have other one started I need to finished up I have baby blanket that need to finish I 'm busy with blankets right now love you got to.
Love the blanket!! I stopped shopping at Hobbii because they sell out a lot, and it takes them too long to restock. My projects can't wait that long! I'm looking forward to your next video 💙
When I learned to crochet, my teacher (my late MIL) didn’t teach me about weaving in ends, so all of my early blankets and scarves (I didn’t make anything else!) had fringe 😂
You are amazing. Your temperature blankets are incredible. I’m so encouraged. We have a crochet group that meets on Tuesdays. We’d love to see you in Orlando.
That is stunning! I love the colors and the pattern. I’ve been researching temperature/weather blankets for a while now, and yours is my favorite by far! Love it! ❤
You are such an inspiration to everyone, your joy and your love for your craft and for us show through You have inspired me to take on more challenging projects and I thank you for that PS love the blanket
YES about the Christmas movie fakeness. And Violent Night is now one of my favorite movies, along with Muppets Christmas Carol. This year I refound Mixed Nuts from the 90s - Madeline Kahn is brilliant (of course). Lots of love from the Pacific Northwest 🧡
I loved Violent Night, too! And I agree The Grinch with Jim Carrey is a classic. I also like Disney's The Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey. It is closer to the book. I am also inspired to make 2 temperature blankets for significant years for my 2 children. When you said make it personal, it inspired me to come up with a simple pattern so I don't get too overwhelmed. Thank you so much for your inspiration!
That is SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! I have crocheted through out the years off and on as a hobby, never made anything more than a scarf and hat, but watching you makes me want to pick it up again and create something amazing. Thank you for sharing.
I've been watching you make your temperature blanket all year, and threw in prior years' videos. It's been so much fun, for 2024, I will be making my own.Thank you!
wow Toni, absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations on 13 years! What a fabulous keepsake to celebrate your beautiful marriage; a stunningly gorgeous blanket to snuggle into :) ♥
I just love your channel so much. It feels so comfy here and I’m so grateful for the kind glow you give and all the work you put into these videos. Hands down my fav crochet channel. I’ve been intimidated by the temperature blanket but thanks to the site you provided, I think I’m going to do it! I’m excited! Thank you!! I would LOVE to win the yarn giveaway as a new crocheter starting her journey! ❤❤❤❤
One of my cousins took her own twist on a temperature blanket made a mood blanket this year. She was able to rely on her daily blogs to remember each day when she fell behind
Oh so lovely 😍 what a beautiful temperature blanket and Thank you for sharing your ideas on the fringe ..I am gonna try the twisted braid fringe on my scrappy blanket I have been knitting. I have so many ends to weave but now I know what I am doing!!! Yay❤
I absolutely LOVE how your Temperature Blanket turned out; that Tunisian Chevron is AMAZING, and since I love all things Tunisian Crochet, I just might try it. As always, THANKS for sharing!🥰🥰🥰
So, I'm pretty positive that this has got to be the most beautiful temperature blanket I've ever seen, and now I really want to make an anniversary temperature blanket as well 🥰 absolutely stunning, well done!
Toni it’s so gorgeous!! I’ve only ever attempted a temp blanket once and didn’t make it past March, but between this design and the idea of doing a year that’s significant I might try again!!❤
You selected truly beautiful colors for your blanket. I’m pretty sure I want to make one, but I’ve been looking for inspiration on color ways, and this is just gorgeous! You stayed with traditional hot/cold colors, but choosing those muted cool tones? Just perfection.
I love this temperature blanket so much and after reading your blog on it, I’m so excited to start one to chronicle the first couple of years of my marriage. It’s going to be a 21st anniversary gift for my husband. Eventually, I also want to make another one with my family’s birthdays, and I love the ideas for gifts, as well.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU! I taught myself how to crochet in September. I found you shortly after and I asked for some long hooks this year for Christmas to try tunisian crochet. I also live in Michigan and found the Best.Christmas.Ever movie less than. I decided to start crocheting because our family is blessed with 2 more babies this year. Many years ago, when I had my babies, my mom always made them blankets and sweaters and snowflake Christmas ornaments. She passed away in 2020 and I feel the need to take that on myself. I was also thinking about making a temp blanket to keep track of their first year. Thank you for being real and honest and giving me something to relate and laugh about while I am learning. May you have a blessed new year!
You're my fav crocheter! I've learned so much from you over the years. I've only done one temp blanket. I used your granny square pattern. It was for 2021 but I still need to finish the border. I've decided 2024 is for finishing all the languishing WIPS in my craft studio. That blanket is first on my list. I watched Violent Night last year with my teenaged boys and we loved it. It was SO unexpected. It's going to be our annual Christmas movie! I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for sharing all of your content. It makes me so happy! Happy Holidays!!
Husband and I are in fifth year and it’s crazy to look back on that by what I’ve accomplished thanks to him. Like don’t get me wrong I did that. I put my sauce on it but this last year crochet and my marriage kept me going. Your channel helped put a smile to my face when I didn’t think I could and got me working on projects I normally wouldn’t. This year was truly a stepping stone. I’m moving again after standing still my whole life. Thanks for all you do!
I crocheted while watching this video over and over until I was finally happy with my swatch. I'll be looking for more of your videos now! Thanks, Toni!
holidays are tough, family can be tough. But this video gave me a big smile while you talked over the same type of blanket that my great grandma used to make! We had chevron tunisian blankies from great gran in our chilly house growing up.
I just finish sketching out my 2024 temp blanket. I will make a 3D triangle blanket. Making triangles and joining them together will create a cool 3D effect (hopefully). Everyday triangle will represent the average temperature of a day. You totally inspired me, that I dont need to make a boring blanket, but can do what I want, because it is my blanket
You are the cutest thing!! Your work is gorgeous and your sense of humor is wonderful. That movie was pretty bad and your temperature blanket turned out amazing!! ❤
Ahhh Toni!!! I’ve watched for years and liked several but this particular temperature blanket is the one that has made it an official must do for me in 2024!!! You’re work is beyond inspiring!
This has to be my favorite temperature blanket that you have made so far! The colors, the design, the drape and the tassels are amazing. This really made me want to start my blanket project that I have planned for this winter season! Thank you for sharing your journey.
This is so beautiful....wow--everything about it is so awesome. The fringe is perfect. The design, color, drape, flow - you are amazing!! Just lovely!!
❤ finally found you! Somebody who speaks my language! I can't wait for your Tunisian crochet hooks, been wanting to learn. Its been a real challenge for me since I'm left handed. You are amazing!
Your 2023 blanket is gorgeous, Toni. It is always such a pleasure to watch you craft, to see you in the process. I am on the home stretch of my first linen squares temperature blanket, and it was because of you and your encouraging podcasts that I've made it through. It's been fun and I love it! Just two weeks to go! Thanks for everything you do for the community: as everyone says, you are just pure sunshine, positivity and a delight. Happy holidays and all the best for the new year!!! ❤
What an incredibly beautiful blanket. Boho gorgeous. I just see beautiful beach all over that work of art. I have not felt much interest in Tunisian crochet but after your epic scarf and now this...I might have to look into it. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️
Your work is always stunning and your 2023 temperature blanket doesn't disappoint!!! What a stunning piece of work! I made my first temperature blanket in 2021 using linen stitch squares after seeing the video you posted then, and now I'm inspired to make this pattern representing my daughter's first year of birth for her 31st birthday. It was a tough pregnancy, but she was a fighter and it will have a lot of meaning for us. Thanks for being so inspirational, and many blessings to you as you wrap up 2023 and move forward to 2024! 🥰
I looove the idea of doing a historical year. I did my first temperature blanket this year and there were times I got a few weeks behind but it’s been really fun to see how the temperatures changed all year. Your videos have been such an inspiration and actually encouraged me to try crocheting more. Thank you for the confidence boost!
This has really inspired me. My husband and I will be celebrating 25years next year and he's always looking for a new afghan. Guess I found a new reason to make one. On to the research! I only have 9 months left!
Your temperature blankets are always inspiring! A lovely addition to your collection memorializing what was surely a standout year for the two of you! One day I will do a blanket for my birth year using the temps from the two places my parents lived that year. I have the traditional rainbow colors in sport weight, and will do the moss stitch.
Fun to see this project conclude! thanks for taking us along! All of the sentiments expressed in the kofi sponsor note are 100% true. You are a shining bright spot when I need a boost.
Outstanding finish, Toni! Aside from the blanket, your spirit, tenacity and enthusiasm is simply amazing and YOU are what this planet needs a lot more of! YOU have just done so much for the crochet and tunisian crochet arts and have been the sole inspiration for me picking up the old tunisian hooks, dusting them off and beginning again. I wish you continued success with all your endeavors and the best of health, happiness and all good things in the coming New Year! YOU truly are a credit to the human race and the crochet community and I can't wait to hear when you come up with your own brand of tunisian hooks!
What a beautiful blanket. The colors are the same as in the drapes behind you. I was giggling when you said your high-school mascot was a Charger. My high-school was opened my freshman year. We as a student body had the privilege to suggest and vote our mascot. We chose to the Colombia Chargers. In my childhood I was sewing some of my clothes. I had a picture of wearing this sweater with same colors, a few more stripes, and the same design as what you are wearing.
My condolences for such a profound loss. I hope your temperature blanket will be a healing journey for you. May you find much comfort in it.
@sdcrampro. This is a beautiful blanket. I want to learn tunisian crochet!
I too lost my spouse (this past august), I’m torn between doing our first year or our last. My condolences to you .
So sorry for your loss. I was widowed in 2000. Being crafty and creating projects helped me reduce stress.
I love this idea! A whole memory blanket - I hope she loves it!
What a wonderful gift. I’m sure your mom will be driven to tears ❤
As someone who consistently crochets with a cat or two on my knees, I was quite pleased to see your pup snuggling into your lap.
Wow! I've stayed away from temperature blankets for several reasons, but weaving in end is a big one. I love, love, LOVE the twisted tassels. They open up so many possibilities. Well done, and thank you for sharing.
I’m not organized and can’t decide on colors which keeps me away from temp blankets.
Not a crocheter but a knitter. Your concept of doing the first year of your marriage has completely blown me away❤.next year 2024 is my brother's 40th anniversary and because of your inspiration I am going to do the year they got married. Thank you so much
Awww what a special gift!
Thank you Toni! Your blanket is lovely. You have inspired me to do one for my pregnancies. I have lung cancer and I'm trying to create memories for my children. I think this will be perfect
What an absolutely lovely way to create fond memories for your littles. Sending you healing and cozy wishes :-)
God bless you & your family.
Many blessings to you for healing and comfort. ❤
It's always the thought that counts, and your stitching will only get better and better :-)
Same! The love that I infuse my gifts with is way more valuable than a dropped stitch ❤️
Oh my goodness, this might be my favorite thing you've made on the channel! What a wonderful way to memorialize your marriage. Well done!!!!!
Thank you! It might be my favorite too :-)
I am finishing up my 2023 temperature blanket, my first. I’m soooo with you on the finishing tasks. What a pain! 😂 I have woven in the ends and I’m now working on the border. lol this yarn life is so full of ups and downs, and I'm grateful to have a community that really gets it :-) Welcome to the Tunisian crochet family!
I love the idea of doing a historical blanket. That way I can really plan out my colors.
I don’t comment often. Have to tell you that turned out beautifully! The DRAPE is amazing ❤❤❤
You're so kind! Thank you :-)
Same! I’m never on this site anymore but I can’t get off her videos

Hello Tony, I have been washing u 4 long time, u r so professional, l love your cheeriness. I hope the new yr will be a good 1 4 u. 😊
Violent night is my favourite new Christmas movie too!! So good! And Love Has Won is crazy.
What a gorgeous blanket! You are so talented. Can't wait to see your plan for next year.

I'm LOVING the pallette colors! What a beautiful meaningful creation. Thank you for sharing. Your passion and joy is inspiring! 🎉❤❤❤
When I learned to crochet, my teacher (my late MIL) didn’t teach me about weaving in ends, so all of my early blankets and scarves (I didn’t make anything else!) had fringe 😂
Toni, you are seriously the best crochet teacher I’ve come across…and I’ve watched a LOT of crochet videos.😂 Thank you for all you do!
Wow, way to give real meaning to the phrase, "Labour of Love" Toni, and what a stunning result!
You are amazing. Your temperature blankets are incredible. I’m so encouraged. We have a crochet group that meets on Tuesdays. We’d love to see you in Orlando.

I love this idea, historical temp blanket. Because of you I've picked up Tunisian crochet again. I was always intimidated by it now its easy peezy.❤
wow Toni, absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations on 13 years! What a fabulous keepsake to celebrate your beautiful marriage; a stunningly gorgeous blanket to snuggle into :) ♥
Like your colors for your temperature blanket. Those would be great colors for a sweater.

Oh so lovely 😍 what a beautiful temperature blanket and Thank you for sharing your ideas on the fringe ..I am gonna try the twisted braid fringe on my scrappy blanket I have been knitting. I have so many ends to weave but now I know what I am doing!!! Yay❤
The colors are just beautiful and that alone would inspire me.
I absolutely LOVE how your Temperature Blanket turned out; that Tunisian Chevron is AMAZING, and since I love all things Tunisian Crochet, I just might try it. As always, THANKS for sharing!🥰🥰🥰
Love the drama of the last 6 tassels!
What a beautiful way to celebrate your marriage, I love this. Blanket is gorgeous! 🧡
Hi, was upset I missed the live. But watching the replay was Awesome! The blanket is Gorgeous!
Love the idea of no weaving and doing the tassels. Thank you for sharing!
I love it and the blanket matches your curtains too! Thanks for the inspiration.
My God you are so talented!! And an excellent presenter. And I love your Pup!!
I love how colorful it turned out with the forward and return passes being able to be different 😍
I have never thought of doing a historical temp blanket, but I am IN LOVE with the idea!
This has inspired me to start a temperature blanket based on the colour palette of the movies/series my friend and I watch on a weekly basis.
Toni, the temp blanket is absolutely gorgeous. You should be so proud, it's beautiful!
Yasssss! You're truly an inspiration, honey! Excited to hear that you're finding the things that get you motivated. Keep it up!
Toni!!!! THOSE TASSLES!! THOSE STRIPES!! YAAAAASSSS!!
Thank you for the joy you bring me in every video.
I crocheted while watching this video over and over until I was finally happy with my swatch. I'll be looking for more of your videos now! Thanks, Toni!
xoxo thank you!!
holidays are tough, family can be tough.
Gorgeous, absolutely magnificent. I love, love, love it💗
This is so beautiful....wow--everything about it is so awesome.
These colors are GORGEOUS!,,,,
I absolutely LOVE my Linen Square Temperature Blanket from 2022! I think fingering weight would be fun to try too.
Thank you for the confidence boost!
your 2023 blanket is gorgeous. I must say. stunning
This has really inspired me. My husband and I will be celebrating 25years next year and he's always looking for a new afghan. Guess I found a new reason to make one. On to the research! I only have 9 months left!
WOW 😮❤❤❤ Your blanket is beyond beautiful. Congratulations 👏
Everything you touch turns into something beautiful, even when things don’t go as expected ❤
That's what I really love about creating art :-)
I always love your color palettes! Helps to see different colors than the rainbow for temperature. ❤
Bravo Doll! That is one gorgeous masterpiece
The same tassels of the blocked out blanket, it’s gorgeous
